Obviously we all hope he has better talent evalution skills for first round talent. But that's not my #1 hope for Phil. You all know I've been harping about the O Line for ages and I'm assuming we'll address it better than JA did in his years at the helm. But no, that's not it either. As far as my biggest hope for a difference from JA, I'd have to say I'd want better luck at avoiding injury-prone guys. I don't know if it was just JA taking flyers on guys with known injury issues or bad health histories, or just bad luck. So there you have it... Draft guys who will actually play some football for us. Sounds pretty basic.

1. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix - (A-). There are so many layers to this as it ends up essentially being a trade that will give the Bears HHCD and more than likely a comp pick while Packers get Amos and the Redskins 4th rounder. The more I watch HHCD, the more I see why the Bears went after him. I don't know if you can get a better Safety for that price ($3.5M). After all of us posting mocks, debating FA pickups and FA departures going forward my focus will be on how the current roster takes to this regime and how many of the veterans of the previous regime will survive this TC. I usually take a vacation and visit 1 day. I'm thinking about making a couple of days out of it when I go. What are any of the rest of you expecting to see.

In order to enter Training Camp this year you will be required to go on the Bears web site and get "free" tickets. So many families have visited Training Camp to watch the team practice over decades without any problems and now in 2017 this team has decided that only computer friendly fans should have access to Training Camp that has no reserved seating for the average fans but, some groups have some of the few bleachers reserved be it sponsors or whoever. This organization continues to make questionable decisions when it comes to relating to the fans. If I attend anything this year it will be the fan fest at Soldier's Field.
