So I'm looking for the Bears game today on DTV. I live on the west coast and I can't find it listed anywhere. The Raider game is on at 10 so that is the live game on Network TV. But I can't find it listed on the NFL package. What am I missing and does it show up on anyone who has DTV and lives outside of the Chicago market? I know they have a free preview this week. Bill

This offense is carving our boys up

I understand quick reads and throws, even max protect and three step drops, but this offense appears to have emasculated Jay Cutler. If I didn't know any better I'd think it was Shane Matthews at QB. As we painfully learned when than moron Shoop was calling plays with crayons, the dink and dunk only works if the opponent respects the Bears' offense enough to worry about the intermediate and deep balls.

Is it any better than last year? 38% of Cutler's pass attempts to Marshall. Only thing missing is he did not force one to Brandon that resulted in a INT. I am far from disappointed what with one half of football, but I hope the second half produces differently for the offense. Cincy's defense is good, so credit to them but, wow underwhelming 1st half offense.

Game winner thread. That was a huge win for the Bears. Big 11 point comeback. Big performance in the 2nd half. That was a really good team the Bears stood up and went blow for blow with.

You know that whole Robbie Gould can't kick long field goals thing? 11 in a row over 50 yards tying an NFL record. 58 yarder - longest in Bears history. Not an issue anymore. Peace

Watching the game highlights cuz I worked through the whole game, Inoticed the right side of the line was ravaging the Bengals. In every pass they showed on NFL network, Long handled atkins no problem and Mills was a beast with Malalugua . I think this tandem could be start of lots of time Cutler. Am I wrong?

Based on watching other games, the Bears sloppy start isn't unusual. Cutler can, in fact, bring his team back from a deficit. The rooks on the line can play! The FA pickups this year will contribute. Nut is still GOOD. Trestman can game plan and make halftime adjustments. Gould is the best PK in the game today. Hester didn't look special to me today but I'd still rather have him than play against him. The D needs to tackle a LOT better. Briggs in particular. The run to the outside on 4th and 1 showed guts. That play will often not work but it won us the game today. I loved seeing us punt the ball inside the 10 y…

The first game of the season of course it's some of the same. Two turn overs and a lot of bend but don't break D. Things don't always change that much from one season to the next, even with all new coaches. But one thing that did change. Not one sack against one of the best front 7's. Yea, not one sack. And with 80 percent of the O. line changed from last year. And two GD rookies on the right side. That is not the same old same old by anyones stretch! Not just because of the Oline. But the fact that they did not get one sack, first game of the season, five out of six O.L. changed, with two rookies as starters. That alone should be enough to raise hell!

A little bit of nostalgia.

It was interesting to hear his post game comments. What I noticed mostly was he seems to have very little ego. He basically said "We made better play calls in the second half on O but even then it was up to Cutler to use his legs twice to get the job done." It's refreshing to hear something like that. I recall previous regimes falling over themselves to claim credit for plays that went well. In the long run it'll be interesting to see how well his personality fits into this world of huge dollars and huge egos called the NFL. 20+ plays already and it's not even halfway through the first quarter. I am fascinated by this at the NFL level.

I personally hate this guy. I think he is the biggest douche to play the game. The dive at the knees is and always will be uncalled for. I played D line, I hate O lineman. I mean I hate them to this day. I hated the O lineman that would block after the whistle or come diving on the pile. I never saw a place in the game for that crap. What SUH did was complete bullshit and I think he should have been given at least a two game suspension. How many does this guy have to do something stupid??? What are your thoughts?
