#Bears agree to terms on 1 yr deal with TE Matthew Mulligan. He's primarily a blocking tight end and has ample experience. Per Brad Biggs Emery is still filling the cupboard.

Im not gonna get into too much here, but the more i read the more i l ike. Hes an offensive guru and we have the tools to be great. A recieving RB, athletic TE and a gunsliingin' QB. Plus my take is next season he can become the head coach and Rivera can come back....

https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2016/...-the-nfl-draft/ The Bears had 2 of the 5 picks with their only 2 picks: 1. Jonathan Bullard, DE, Chicago Bears The Bears plucked good players all night and Bullard is a player we saw as a borderline first-round talent. He led the nation with a +51.5 grade against the run, using great instincts to feel and defeat blocks. He did most of his work on the inside at Florida, but he’s not a classic defensive tackle and he’s versatile enough to play up and down the line of scrimmage. Bullard’s best role is likely on the outside on early downs where he can match up with tight ends and offensive tackles while trying to get t…

Done deal, he's now the richest guard in the NFL. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/...s-47-5-million/

“We have a great relationship,” Trubisky said. “It all started last year, and it’s just going to keep growing better and better. It’s just that player-coach relationship, that constant communication and just me doing whatever he wants and envisions and translating that right to the field. "me doing whatever he wants". Can't see McMahon ever saying anything like that about Ditka. Different time but same place.

1. John Cooper OG 2. Jordan Pugh OT 4. Kiko Alonso ILB 5. Trevardo Williams OLB 6. Tavarras King WR Cant argue with much of it.. I replace Pugh with Barrett Jones or Kyle Long or Oday Aboushi... I think we need a legit LT in free agency. I wouldnt mess with any rookie Kiko, Id love it http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1512696...-the-super-bowl

http://walterfootball.com/draft2014.php 1. DIX 2. PERIFOUY 3. JOHNSON 4. RB

Based on a few of the other depth guys we picked up, we are going to have a killer Special Teams unit.

Jerry rolled the dice on Melton and lost out, IMO. I think Melton would've been available in the 5th round. Damn it.

https://twitter.com/JimmyKempski/status/568...0357632/photo/1 Pretty cool, 49ers and Rams would be killing it. Fuller, Long, McClellin, Carimi vs Williams, Floyd, Eifert, Jernigan

Years ago some people posted links where we could watch the games live. Does anyone still have that info? I’m not in Chicago and I don’t have the ticket. Thanks in advance!!

Philadelphia Eagles ‏@Eagles 9m9 minutes ago #Eagles acquire 8th overall pick from Miami in exchange for LB Kiko Alonso, CB Byron Maxwell, & 13th overall pick. Maybe another QB selection?

Better make this team. He was the best d-lineman on the field tonight. Peace

Alex Brown will play this weekend in Seattle and he did light workouts today on the side but was held out of the light walk through. The writer for this story is John Mullin who used to cover the Bears for the Tribune.

Jeffery and Hester both were at practice yesterday and have a chance to play the week against the Vikings. We really need both of them to take pressure of of Marshall and to give ay someone else to throw to since bennett is going to be out.

So here is the current estimated available cap for teams with over $10M in effective cap space. These teams are really the only ones that could sign a player to a decent contract without other cap restructuring. If you consider you need $5M for rookie pool and $5-10M for operating money for the year, The Bears, Falcons, and Packers are really the only teams with room to sign players to a deal that is over $7M AAV. There are still several players left like that. The Bears could sign 2 of them and still have the most cap space. So Poles is not done yet.

Here is a listing of the QB, top 2 RB, top 3 WR, and top 2 TEs for the NFC North. The Bears don't have a top end guy like Jefferson, Aaron Jones, or Hockenson, but the Bears floor is higher than any other group. Arguably, Tonyan is the worst Bear in that group, but is better than any other TE2 on the list. Fields, Herbert, Foreman, Moore, Mooney, Claypool, Kmet, Tonyan Goff, Gibbs, Montgomery, St. Brown, Williams, Jones, LaPorta, Wright Love, Jones, Dillon, Watson, Doubs, Reed, Musgrave, Kraft Cousins, Mattison, Chandler, Jefferson, Addison, Osborn, Hockenson, Oliver If you break it down by position, Fields is probably #2 after Cousins if he doesn't impro…

Any interest at vet minimum?
