OK, I wasn't impressed. But as I've given myself a little time to think about it, it wasn't all bad. The O Line did hold up pretty well and there weren't a lot of penalties called in the game. Of course, I'm not sure KC is a pass rushing juggernaut either... The running game looked pretty good. Obviously we have some horses there and this will only improve when Jones is ready to go. Now, it sure would've been great if Jerry didn't draft a guy with a pre-existing back condition. Damn it. Still, we'll have to watch this situation develop. If the line can produce through the first half of the season and the kid really returns in 12 weeks, it might not be so bad …

Rex Grossman needs good showing vs. Seattle An interesting article but mistitled in my opinion. It has far less to do with the title than it does with 10 topics of discussion that the author makes on issues for the Bears to face, only 1 of the 10 being Rex vs Kyle. What has been over-looked as part of Idonije's value to this team has been his knack for blocking kicks which has become a lost art in the NFL.Since his arrival as an undrafted free agent he has worked his way into being a key contributor on defense and special teams.On a lot of Hester's runs you can see Idonije's number throwing a key block.I would put Idonije's value on special teams right behind Hester,Gould,Maynard,Mannely and AP. This along with his ability to swing between tackle and end may make a couple of guys expendable.

that really surprised me, I thought he still had get up and go. His worth to Houston was minimal and they let him go, Thought everyone needed a pass rusher. well goes to show his better days are behind him.

I remember him on some draft boards for the Bears in the 2013 Draft. At this point, I don't know how he could be much worse than Fuller.

Hurst is back and on the PS. Bears added Deonte Thompson who looks somewhat intriguing for those who aren't fans of Mariani. 4.31 speed, filled in as kick returnee for Jacoby Jones in Baltimore. Bruce Callahan and Ify Somethingorother are gone.

I haven't watched much of him in the two games he's started, but he seems to be holding up much better as a LT than he ever did as a RT. A lot of people in the media have been pointing out how good he's looked. Going up against one of the best pass rushing combos in the league today can't be easy. Perhaps the Bears have indeed found some value with their 7th round pick. Marquess Wilson also appears to be coming into his own a little bit as well, which is great to see. That's what this year is all about. Building up the players you think might have a future here.
