Is it just me or is Olin Kruetz totally washed up? He got plowed on that screen pass to Forte and also got blown into backfield twice in the RedZone

Of all the position groups, this one has to be one of the most disappointing ones. Outside of Moore's god given talent, has any other player from this group done anything positive this year? Like for me, they have all been net negatives, Claypool, Mooney, Velus, and Scott. St. Brown has barely played this year so I don't even count him and his lack of availability is a negative. There was the Claypool stuff that started from the day he arrived until he left. Zero accountability both on and off the field. Then there is Velus Jones, who never developed into anything near his draft status, he basically drops passes or fumbles returns. Tyler Scott was a later draft…

Carolina has lost the first of its 17 games, dropping the opener 24-10 to the Atlanta Falcons. Every loss brings the Bears closer to draft Nirvana. I have a wish, and i think it has a good chance of happening, that we end up with the #1 pick AGAIN next year. Lets Go!

Most years I get to watch the entire combine. Either live or recorded. This year I didn't, so I don't have as good of a handle as normally. So... Which guys have risen on your personal charts? Mid round guys who might have moved to bottom first. Nobodies who are now mid round guys. And also the late round sleepers. Who's the guy the Bears should get with a big surprise?

This guy is very athletic and especially so when you consider he's 6'3". He's also very raw and has one year of experience at CB. He's clearly a practice squad candidate this year. He's going against inferior competition in his highlight tape but his burst to close stands out on several plays, so does his aggression. You all know I love defense and I like football players who have an aggressive edge in their game. Denmark is knocking players to ground all over the field including those who are trying to block him. If he has the work ethic at a minimum I can see him becoming a special teams coverage ace and replacing McManis next year. Maybe that happens this year…

Something I found thought provoking. If Vic Fangio were to be fired today, would you sacrifice Pagano to get Fangio back?

1. Great game for Cutler. He improvised when he was rushed and made big play after big play. If Williams and Hester catch those passes, Cutler likely ends the game with 300 yards. 2. Bennett truly is a missing link. When he's out there, the offense is good. 3. Forte will be fine. Last night was the exception, not the rule. I expect him to have a huge game against Detroit. 4. The OL keeps playing better. They had their bad moments, but giving up no sacks in Philadelphia primetime is impressive. I'd sit Carimi until Louis really struggles or gets hurt. 5. The NFC in 2012 has the potential to be one of the best CONFERENCES ever. The Saints are still the Saints and still have Brees despite the bounties. At the worst, they're a 9-7 team. Cam Newton will continue to get better. The Bucs added good players in FA and drafted well. The Falcons are 42-21 since 2008 (IIRC) and they're always a good team. The Bears now have a great WR corps and the potential for a GREAT offense if Tice does well. The Packers are the Packers. The Vikings can be a 6-7 win team this year if Peterson is back considering their draft. The Lions will be solid if Stafford is healthy. SF is dangerous as they kept their whole D plus they …

Right now we sit a game back of the Packers and a half-game behind the Lions. Detroit has yet to play a divisional game, so we will see how they compare to the rest of the division starting this week. The Lions also play the Vikings and us in their next 5 games, so those games will be very important in terms of playoff chances. There are 4 non-division teams vying for a playoff spot (SEA, LAR, CAR, and PHI) as well.
