Bearstalk

Melton concussed in the game. Patrick Mannelly knocked out of the game as well.

after he rated us #30 after the preseason I am keeping tabs on him. Here is an article he wrote about last night. Finally he is giving some props but still doubts us. I love it when teams and experts doubts us. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writ....html?eref=sihp

Sphincter muscles at TalkBears.com unpucker just a little.

My first post, I read here all the time but I saw this and had to post it Kinda looks like our fearless leader... Lovie?

Per Josina Anderson. Interesting since teams aren't supposed to talk numbers.

Makes sense.

Makes sense I guess now that they lose out on a good safety and Julius Peppers was released.

So this is what we will be getting this year with Marshall? Take notice of the QB throwing him the ball(Orton) and the DB guarding him(Jennings). Take special notice of all the yards after the catch moves, jukes, stiff arms, broken tackles....wow. Not to mention that he had 21 catches in one game!(NFL record) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5q6HoHYDKQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9q52pUl8vZM...;feature=g-vrec

Can you believe the Bears signed Glennon and drafted Trubisky in the same offseason and then benched Glennon after he had 4 straight games with a TD pass, completed over 63% of his passes and 3 games with over 200 yards passing (1x 300 yard game)? For as bad as we thought Glennon was (which he was), Trubisky is actually worse. Trubisky has 0 TD passes in 6 of his last 8 games (not including MIN game where he left with injury). Trubisky now has as many games with less than 200 yards passing than he has with more than 200 yards passing (16 games each). Glennon, in comparison has 13 games over 200 yards, 9 games under 200. The worst part is TD passes. Trub…

He may not be getting much attention, but he is currently top 5 in tackles per game, is tied for the league lead in INTs with 4, has 1 sack, and a 67.2 Passer Rating against. For how bad the pash rush has been, he has been playing very solid in his new position.

Rams v Patriots with the Rams being the "home" team for the next 3 games

Great article on Tice. A little blast from the message board past. Tice will turn the OL around!

Cutler dont care

So it looks like the Falcons may try to move Calvin Ridley. He is going into his 5th year option year, and will have a $11.1M cap hit next year. The Falcons have $11M in cap space, but with only 30 players signed. They have some terrible contracts. Deion Jones has a cap hit of $20M with $24M in dead money. Immovable. Matt Ryan? $48M cap hit with $40M in dead money. Jake Matthews? $23.6M with $19.5M in dead money. The easy cut is Grady Jarrett, instead of $23.8M cap hit, they can save $16.5M by cutting him. That is all but guaranteed. So if they take the Jarrett cap space, they will have $27.5M for 22 players. Still not much wiggle room. Moving someone like Ridley wo…

Looks like insurance... Smells of Cutty out at least 1 week, if not 2 as Brian mentioned earlier.

My hope is that Trubisky progresses like Goff. The quality of our defense and running game will help a lot.
