We crapped the bed again during a big game. Rodgers owns us. Until I actually see it, I will assume they will continue to own us and I will pencil every GB game from here on out as a loss. We are not in their league. D was worst ever. Tucker needs to be fired, and Conte needs to be cut ASAP. My Sundays have now been returned to me. I could honestly care less about watching the NFL right now period. SF will kill GB. At least there are no more false hopes for this awful season. Same old Bears. Losing to GB to make them national darlings. Great job guys. Just stellar.

Back when the trade deadline was approaching a lot of Bears fans were calling for Poles to trade for Chase Young. Since we have seen a good body of his work since he was traded to the 49ers, it looks like he is just fully recovered from his ACL tear and might be someone who could be a viable option to pair with his former teammate Montez Sweat.

Torn Achilles. At his age could be career ending. Regardless of what the Bears fan in me thinks about him it does suck to possibly end your career that way.

Odunze looks even better than advertised. If not for Caleb, Rome would be the talk of the town. Recently, he talked about breaking Puca's rookie receiving records and talked about how they played together at Washington. That is a great personal goal, but with Moore, Allen, Kmet, Everett, and Swift also looking to eat, I don't think Odunze will break the records, but I still think he will have a better season than most are projecting. There are 28 rookies who broke 1K yards, I think Odunze will do that. There are only 3 players to break 100 catches, Nacua, Waddle, and Boldin. What is interesting to me is there are no other players over 92 receptions, as Michael …

I hate the Packers!!!! But as much as I do hate the packers they had a game plan that worked..they took Marshall and Jeffrey out of the game. The Bears played awful but I dont blame the team I will put this one the coaches. You and I both know we needed to block Mathews....did we do it...no! Game plan...hello! Did we even throw a screen pass all game..oh yes one.Did we make the LB'S defend our TE'S...oh yes and we scored the only TD with a pass to the TE that they could not defend, sure we missed a few. The 49ers attacked the outside running lanes we did not, they attacked the middle of the field we did not. Granted we loss but the Packers only scored one TD on offense an…

I have watched quite a few kickers in my time watching Bears football and since early Butthead (Kevin Butler)this is probably the best kicker in Bears history IMO.The tandem of he and Podlesh are second only to Janikowski and Lechler in Oakland. When It comes to fantasy points Gould is a good consistent point scorer and in leagues where special teams and defense are combined he along with Hester make the Bears D a solid choice.

Last year we were the top rushing defense in the league, tied leading the league in interceptions with 22. Other areas we were not very strong. When Sweat got here things started to change. The worst pass rush in the league got better. We lost Justin Jones ( a good player) and Eddie Jackson who IMO didnt contribute anything to the defense. What's different? We will have Sweat for the whole year. He upgraded the play of everyone around him. Kevin Byard is a better player than Jackson. 28 career intceptions in 8 years. A much better tackler than Eddie. They both are the same age and Byard is statiscally better in every area. Young players make there …

Knee surgery knocks Manumaleuna out of minicamp Posted by Michael David Smith on May 21, 2010 12:12 PM ET Chicago Bears tight end Greg Olsen says that after some initial apprehension, he feels confident about his role in new coordinator Mike Marz's offense. That's especially good news for the Bears because the tight end who already knows his role in Martz's offense, Brandon Manumaleuna, is sidelined at the moment. Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that Manumaleuna, who previously played for Martz in St. Louis and was signed by the Bears on the first day of free agency, is sidelined during this weekend's minicamp after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery.…

I'm wondering if anyone here happened to DVR the game? If so I would gladly pay for the time, effort, and materials to have the game put on DVD. I've been trying to find a torrent of it and have had no luck, nor could I find it on a couple auction sites that sometimes list games.

It doesn't really matter. There are two outstanding teams in the NFC and the rest are crap. Good teams find ways to win. Great teams win. So what if we barely make it to the playoffs. It will be a quick exit if we are not kicking it on all cylinders. We are not. Cutler hurt was devasting to our chances to make it far. We have old guys on defense that can still bring it. But watching them yesterday it was clear that they are looking at Hanie and saying.. We are screwed. There are no gimmie games in the NFL. The deflated crowd yesterday after every 3 and out was tough to see. I was even in shock going. damn we need some kind of spark. I didn't even yell at my tv. I layed…

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10064870-8-prospects-who-should-hear-names-called-during-2023-nfl-draft-after-combine-snubs Good article about some players who will not be getting any press coverage in the next few weeks since they won't be at the combine. Watching what I could find on them, just two stood out to me as players we should have on our board for Day 3. DL Kobie Turner. He can get penetration as shown in the game against Clemson. Among other plays you see him chasing down plays 10yds downfield and causing a fumble so he should be a fit for Eberflus HITS ethos. He's not fast but has a bit of quickness. There just not a lot of highlights…

The national press and some locals claim doomsday for this team. Yes we lost Mack and Hicks, but last yr they were hurt more than they helped. This yr we have improved a dismal DB group with the addition of Brisker and Gordon. Johnson has grown one more yr and hopefully the new scheme rejuvenated Jackson. The scheme seems to be more user friendly for Vidor. Graham is expected to take a step forward. We signed Tevon Young, and Clurkshank for added depth. Elijah Hicks seems to be going to make the roster. Smith is back in the fold and should flourish in this scheme. Morrow is running under the radar but was highly productive in LV and has the speed of Smith. SLM…

Hi, I'm Aly Been a Bears fan since the Wanne years. Yes, I remember the pain of Moses Moreno, Steve Stenstrom and Jonathan Quinn (among others) Hopefully, Caleb Williams is the guy that will finally give us the QB we've been looking for and deserve after 75 years of failure at the position Excited to see how everything plays out. Bear Down!

Continuing with Lucky's recent research, the folks at ESPN (more specifically Grantland) have produced some interesting stats as they relate to the draft. http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/785360...-truly-valuable It's not all that surprising in some regards, but it does back up the concept that some positions are safer to draft in the first two rounds, and some have higher bust rates. TE is the safest in the first two rounds, and OL is the second safest. Similarly, no position other than QB drops off in production like OL does after the first two rounds. There are always reasons to debate data like this - we've probable covered them all - this is…
