I always surf the web to find stories about the Bears and found one that does that for me. Topix.com/Chicago Bears ( I dont know how to link it) It searches the web for any stories on the Bears and posts them everyday. It makes it easy for me.

As of today, it looks like there are only a couple of "starting" positions that need to be settled. Looking at the offense, RG seems like the only position where there is not someone locked in at least for now. The WR room still looks like it could use one more veteran to add to the competition with Jones, Newsome, and Moore. The RB room is a strength and the TE room has enough. So outside of RG, maybe LT if Borom struggles, and another WR. Is there anything else they can do to improve in post-draft FA? Bears traded their two 7th round picks (239 and 241) to move into the end of the sixth and take this guy. Born in South Africa and grew up playing rugby. Seems like he progressed finally a bit this year. Wonder if he might qualify as an international roster exemption which can sometimes be useful with a late pick you don’t want to lose. Heard the show say he can maybe play inside and outside similar to Dayo and Shemar. Oh, and I’d say he’s a pretty good athlete . . .

What does Ryan Poles need to do so the Bears start getting some compensatory picks in 2025 and to regularly receive them in the future. It seems like teams like the 49ers know how to manage the system. What are we doing wrong?

Starting strong-side linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa went down in the first quarter Sunday with a sprained posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and is day-to-day, according to an NFL source. We needed MIN, CAR, and DAL to lose. Well DEN is up 3 against MIN, CAR is being shutout by ATL, and DAL is up by 10+ against DET. So CAR is definitely a loss, MIN can still lose, and it looks like DAL will win easily. Let's go Broncos! How about the epic QB matchup with Jackson and Watson? After watching two weeks of the playoffs, for how bad the Bears played this season, they played way too many of these teams close enough that with small changes, the outcomes could've been much different. Just like 2023, the Bears were a better team than their record. We now know a lot of this was on Flus and the coaching staff. The Bears had 5 games decided by a FG or less, two others by 6 or less, and then the NE game where they didn't even show up. That is 8 games. If they just won half of those, that is a 9-win team. A few players in FAgency I think we should look at that would add to the team, not top players. Dexter McCluster/RB/WR - I think he would add something to our offense we havent seen yet. Matt Shawnessey/DE-already mentioned by a member, think he is under the radar player that could help lots.Could be gotten instead of Wootton Desmon Bishop/MLB- talented player injured last year Cory Graham/CB- at 29 still has some life in him Malcom Jenkins- young and upcoming Garret Grahan/TE- would be a good complement to Bennett

One is going to be gone unless Shaw can be put on the PS its him. So its Glennon(rumored to be upset , who cares did the check bounce and think Drew Brees when the Chargers drafted Philip Rivers) Sanchez the Dak Whisperer Trubisky who should start next year( 2018) no matter what I expect the rebuild to see offensive players in and out like the defenders last year and mostly at OL. Both CAR and PHI lost, which puts both of them at 6-7. So the only teams ahead of the Bears for WC2 are the Rams and Vikings. The Rams are beating the Cardinals early and the Vikings play in Seattle on MNF. If Seattle can beat Minnesota tomorrow night, we would essentially be 1 game back with 3 to play (before our head to head....which is a must win). All we need to do is beat the Vikings in Week 17 and come into the game no more than 1 game back. If Seattle wins, this scenario is definitely possible.

I keep hearing about the teams with the best spots for a rookie QB, and I understand there are a bunch of factors that go into that, but at the end of the day it comes down to the core skill position players with the ball in their hands. I know coaching, scheme, O-Line, defense, and even opponents all factor into this, but it is hard for me to look at the 5 teams with 1st Round rookies and not like the position the Bears are in from a skill position standpoint.
