http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,4230287.story I have two questions for this board. 1. Do you think what Williams has said will fire up the team as a whole on Sunday and 2. Should we go after Williams in FA if the Lions don't pay to keep him?

Guess who is taking all 1st team snaps at RT. What happened to having a true competition at that position like so many were on my case saying there would be. According to brad Biggs its all Webb at that position And Scott is only taking snaps with 2nd trk or when Webb needs a breather. This is not a competition. I hope this staff knows what its doing cuz if webb blows again and gets jay hurt again there's going to be a lot of pissed off ppl for not even allowing someone to at least push Webb. What's wrong with opening things up at a position where no one has earned it.

I have heard speculation that their HC would never treat this game any differently than the norm. I have also heard key players might be held out, such as Jacobs. What have you guys heard? If they play this game with normal personnel on the field I have no doubt MIN loses. If they pull every player who has as much as a hangnail to prevent further injury, MIN wins.

Four members of the Chicago Bears football team have been selected to the 2008 Pro Bowl: LB Lance Briggs, DT Tommie Harris, KR Devin Hester, and special teams selection Brendon Ayanbadejo. Check ChicagoBears.com later today for more on this story.

Great day to be a Bears fan!!!! Come on Oline lets block some Packer fags and give Forte some running room and Cutler some time to throw!!! Every pass play Woodson and Matthews need to be spoted and someone assigned to them!!!! Everything rest on the Oline's shoulders. Get them ready Coaches!!!!! on a side note anyone else at the game? The National Anthem was crazy!!!

So who is going to win tonight? Who does everyone prefer? I like both teams really, love Baltimore's defence but San Francisco is a very solid and exciting team as well.... I have to go with Baltimore, they are veterans in the big games and the Ravens will be playing big for Lewis's last game.

They were trying to sign him last off-season but he went back to Buffalo. For a 2024 5th rounder. Poles is going to have to trade down, down to 5 picks in the draft.

This is a mock looking at team needs after FA signings as of Monday. We have a good shot at either Andre Smith OT or MIchael Oher OT and then a good chance Robiskie/Nicks is available at RD2. Some guys I have higher than other mocks, but I'm thinking some teams may reach a little to fill the need. ROUND 1 01 Detroit...........Matt Stafford QB I have a feeling Detroit is spinning right now not knowing which way to go, they can gamble Sanchez will be there at 20 or hope a OT is there. I have them taking Stafford, b/c you can't gamble a QB will be available further down Team needs: QB, MLB, OLB, OT, SS Options: Aaron Curry LB, Eugene Monroe OT, J…

http://theredzone.org/BlogDescription/tabi...ck/Default.aspx Bears TE Greg Olsen on the trading block Mar 2 3/2/2010 7:41:18 PM | More Jeff Dickinson of ESPNChicago.com it's no secret Bears tight end Greg Olsen is rumored to be on the trading block. Earlier today Greg Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported via Twitter that Greg Olsen was on the block by Bears was loudest chatter at the end of the week. ------------------------------------------------------------------- If they trade him Im done with these assholes. I am serious. Best WR on the team and only 1st round pick(or 1st pick) who isnt a scrub since Urlacher. I …

Jake D is sure looking fine tonight. Reminds me of many a QB we have had over the past 10 years, LOL.

20+ plays already and it's not even halfway through the first quarter. I am fascinated by this at the NFL level.

Here's a good place to stick the daily "Generic training camp article on player x". Link Here's today's, on Brandon Hardin.

Just glad it's over. I do wonder if the league will appeal. This is, however, a real indictment of the arbitrary nature of Goodell's rulings. I believe Brady was guilty as sin but if the NFL can't convince a judge to take their side, when the Commissioner is supposed to have discretion in these matters, it speaks volumes about how shitty a job he's doing.

I think the Bears like Matt Blanchard as the #3, but we still need a capable #2. I can't see us spending the money it would take to get (or being a very enticing landing spot for) fringe starters like Kolb, who is apparently soon to be released, or Fitzpatrick, who already has been. Campbell had his chance here. Remaining candidates include Byron Leftwich (probably not a great fit), Brady Quinn (I could see it), or Kellen Clemons (snore). Am I crazy to think the best remaining realistic FA option is (gasp!) Rex Grossman? Or maybe we just wait to see who gets released after the draft?

http://chicagobearsfanforum.com/blog/ The Bears Brad Biggs blogs that Mark Bradley had arthroscopic surgery earlier this month. He's questionable for the start of training camp. This makes Brandon Lloyd's acquisition all the more important. He was running with the first team. * Biggs also reports that Dan Bazuin is not at Halas Hall. No word on why yet. In other news: o John Tait is lining up at right tackle o Danieal Manning is back at saftey. Manning also is lining up at nickel back (not good news for Ricky Manning). o Terrance Metcalf is lining up wit…

For those that are actually watching the game. A win keeps our slim playoff chances alive (winning out and having DET and DAL both go 1-3, and SF 2-2). Otherwise a loss eliminates us from the playoffs and keeps are draft position intact.

Bears playing for .500, Vikings playing for absolutely nothing. Hard to see the Bears not winning this one with Minnesota basically resting all their starters. Bears 20-10

I want Rex.He will bring back traditional Bear Football, Great defense, running the ball. keeping more clock, less time of possesion for Aron Rodgers and others.

At this point we've lost our starting LT and replaced him with Jonathan Scott. Fair enough we keep Webb on the right side where we want him to play this season. Then we lose Jonathan Scott and we replace him with...Eben Britton at LT? At this point I see that Webb is fading from our top 3 OTs. Not saying he's lost his job yet but if versatility is what Kromer wants among his top 7 Olinemen (he said so yesterday) then at some point among these injuries if Webb was one of our top 3 OTs he'd have been slid over to LT for a day or two while Britton, or Scott, took snaps at RT. That didn't happen and Kromer and Co. decided they preferred to see what Britton could do…
