Well, we did have a shot yesterday...so I think we drop 3 more. I think we play Minny tight, lose by a large margin to the Puckers, and Washington...I think fairly close.

Given the cap going up next year by another $8-10M, and our cap space...I honestly don't see that much of an issue with re-tagging him. Especially if he's not amicable to signing at first. At least we'd hold some some possibility of a trade as he could be signed while under the tag for some time. I don't think we have anyone else we'd need to potentially tag.

I like the idea, and I'm a bit frightened by it... While I think lessening the power of sweaty Teddy is the big payoff...I worry Polian is 74 and is only to be around for a little bit before a second retirement. When, he'll then want to install one of his kids in the mix...who almost all remind me of McCaskey's... The father great...sons/etc...no so much. Then we lose Pace...who I think should be given some more time to prove himself. We do have some talent under him. That said...I am not opposed. Just a bit weary... But, I'm weary already.

To me, the only guy holding up his end of the bargain is Fangio. His D is vastly improved. Fox is on reputation & salary owed to him... Loggains, I'm willing to give him another shot...but if he's replaced by someone with a better pedigree I will not be sad in the least.

For some reason, I think we beat Detroit... The desperately need the win, we will play loose. We win. Just a feeling... GB I think is a loss as much as I'd love it to be a win. I think Wash is one that we just won't have an answer for... Minny I think is a loss.

I think your and my points are quite similar... Although I think they are worse than Cleveland! 3. I think Floyed will only get better...maybe bulk up a bit more by his standard by next season 4. Agreed. He didn't do anything remarkable...but do his job. And that's a good thing.

All good points... But we must temper our positivity with the fact that we may have played the worst team in the NFL. That said, my takeaways given the poor nature of our opponent are: 1. Floyd - you said it all already... 2. Kwiatkowski - Again, you said all that needs to be said 3. Howard - I don't care who your opponent is...when you punch it in 3 times, you stand and take notice. And he's been playing well for weeks now. I think we have a true building block. 4. Barkley - again, your points are on...to me the big picture is if he keeps this up, he needs to be invited to camp next year to compete. 5. Coaching - Fangio is getting it done week after week. Loggains...I really don't know. Is everyone now clicking with Fox? Dunno...again, it's only SF. Let's see what happens when we play divisional opponents now. As much as my head wanted a loss for a better draft pick...I SUPER enjoyed this win. Especially against SF who have run up the score on us in the past a few times. F SF. It was a fun win!

Meh. There's a difference between being slightly secretive for an advantage and being an outright liar and making your fan-base and local media feel like they are being treated like idiots... Big big difference in NE...they won and are still winning. We have nothing but losing seasons to show for all of Fox's secrecy.

I'm still holding out hope. I don't think it's good. But, he could turn into a solid contributor. He just needs to stay healthy. Hell, no Bear seemed to be able to do that this season...
