  1. I hear ya! Sports is supposed to be a PLEASANT distraction from life's woes!
  2. Chile, I'm not sure about everyone else...but it almost sounds like you're speaking right to me. I couldn't agree more on all counts. For the first time in my life as a Bears fan...I'm starting to feel real apathy. I just think if we move into next season with Fox grooming whatever QB prospect we have, my apathy will grow. I don't feel injuries are justified for maintain the status woe. Fangio, I'd like to keep. All others, I'd prefer a new crew. Better trainers, better nutrition staff to vet supplements, better preparation, better in game coaching, etc...
  3. Thanks! I hope you and your family had a happy one as well!
  4. Couldn't agree more...
  5. Yup... During the game, I can't help but fall into the emotion of trying to win. But prior to it, I know it's best if we simply lose a hard fought match with signs of something to build on.
  6. Also...I am finding it exceptionally difficult to watch the team with Cutler under center. My stomach churns at the sight of him... He is not a Bear. ...not to me at least.
  7. I'm still rooting for wins, but only if they are at the hands of Howard and the D. If that happens, like you state, we experience development. Cutler's performance over the past 2 games is a summary of his entire career. Flashes of greatness and then complete meltdowns. It's not something you really want to build a team around. I fully understood why McPhee was pissed! He probably still is...
  8. I want Barkley to start. But I also want Howard, Floyd and the rest of the D to start. If we win with running and D...so be it. If we lose...so be it.
  9. Did he just make a case for letting him walk at season's end and getting a compensatory pick?
  10. Apparently he was injured...so I take back my firing for that. Although, maybe he should be fired any way!
  11. For only benching Howard. Just pointless...
  12. Yeah, I too fell victim to that mentality this morning. I quickly snapped out of it!
  13. Amen... Cutler is so mediocre. Good one game. Putrid the next. The only thing consistent is his inconsistency. I'm really tired of it... It's hard to watch. I forgive Howard. Just learn from it...
  14. Great analysis!
  15. They earned it!
  16. Smoke & Mirrors...GB is still the team to beat. And I want to beat them into oblivion.

Man does he deserve it! That young man's thighs are like tree trunks! As if Earl Campbell's legs were cloned! Kudos Mr. Howard!
  18. ...ain't nothin' wrong w/ bein' right!
  19. Add me to that mix...
  20. Well, it speaks well of Pace I think...
  21. I've been getting ticketmaster e-mail to buy tickets. First time I have ever seen that...
