Watched the tape from mini-camp on the Bears website. Larry Meyer mentioned that Joey had put on 15 pounds of muscle and looks extremely impressive. Look for him to take a big step up this yr at least on special teams. Peace

I remember going to Bears camp in Platteville back when Engram was on the team. He had a trick he would do with the jugs machine where he would start about 10 yards away and have them fire the ball at him. After each catch, he would move in a few steps until he was catching the ball as it was coming out the machine. It was extremely cool. Peace

It was sarcasm. He has not played since 2006. Injury in 2007 and cut before 2008. Just a training camp body. Peace

Drake has done nothing in the 5 yrs with the Bears to prove himself. Either we were drafting crappy players or he could not develop them. The only WR to have any success under Drake was Berrian. I said it at the end of the season and still say he should go. Peace

Read in the Trib we only offered him a 3 yr 4.5 million dollar deal. I thought it was a 3 yr 14 to 16 million deal. I would think that leaves us a little room to negotiate up with him. I can't imagine Cleveland blowing the doors off for him. Peace

Lyman didn't make it in the league because he could not stay healthy. Haynes was simply a bad pick (where is he now?). Idonje should have been left at DE because he is a much better ST player when he is slimmed down. I think Bowman will be fine at safety (if he can stay healthy which has nothing to do with the position switch). Peace

I really think it's both. They want to win but they also want to maximize their profits. It's how they go about it that matters. Peace
