McClover to IR; Metcalf is back
I would agree. We do not want to burn him out. Peace

Vote for Forte
Interesting he has not won this yet. Peace

Time for the no-huddle offense
Just like last time. Peace

Good and Bad of GB/NO game
They play great in the dome. On the road - not so much. We can beat them. Peace
-
What is the latest on the Williams DTs?
Exactly. We can beat these guys (we did it 6 weeks ago). We beat the Queens and then we are in the drivers seat/ Peace

Forte, Jones, AP, Wolfe
Someone else on this board was calling out the coaches for handing off to Peterson last week instead of Wolfe when we were getting blown out. That individual and I had a nice, civil discussion and we both agreed to disagree. You handle it however you want to. Personally, if I had such a disliking for another individual, I would avoid discussions with them and talking about them. Peace

Changed it - thanks. Peace

Good and Bad of GB/NO game
The Saints are a great dome team. They do not like the cold. The game will be close. We need to avoid the major mistakes to win. Peace

Forte, Jones, AP, Wolfe
C'mon dude - he is entitled to his opinion. Further, it is a valid question. I have heard alot of people call into sportstalk this week and last asking about Jones. Personally, I understand the logic of inactivating him - he is not worth the roster spot for 2-5 carries a game. Bottom line - It's obvious you don't like him and he doesn't like you. Why else would you bring up his name in your post. My recommendation - ignore his posts. Peace

Orton shuttle pass to Forte
I thought Kyle would never be more than a game manager but I think he could be much more. Never an all pro but very good. They need to get him a #1 receiver. Hester will never be more than a good #2. Davis a #4. Booker and Lloyd can both go. Peace

Forte, Jones, AP, Wolfe
The point being that if you inactivate KJ, you can activate another special teams contributor. AP and GW are perfectly capable of filling in for 5 to 10 carries a game. If Forte gets hurt, you will see Jones active for the next game as the starter. Peace
-
Forte, Jones, AP, Wolfe
1. The speculation is this is because Jones does not play special teams. I don't think he will be activated unless Forte is hurt going forward. 2. I think they were just resting Forte for a series here and there. 3. I believe they were all off tackle. Peace

Unexpected Respect
King needs to put down the kool-aid. This team needs to make the playoff first before we start talking about 'challenging' the Giants. If the game was played today, I would take the Giants by 10. Peace

Bears waiting on Anderson
Hub talked about that play. It was a stunt. Url went outside and the blocker took him. Ogy went inside untouched. So it appears the coaches are learning - may be a little late but they did make changes. Peace
-
I didn't watch the game...
A combination of both. Rams suck but the Bears did play much, much better. I heard the same broadcast - it was Hub. Peace

Edward Jones Dome....
sucks donkey balls. I was extremely disappointed. The sound system was way, way too loud and it feels like a tomb inside. I like how the newer domed stadiums have windows (Indy, AZ, etc). I will say the concessions and facilities are much nicer that Soldier but that is probably true of any stadium. Peace

Bennett, Kevin Jones inactive
I don't think Jones will be active unless Forte gets hurt. He doesn't contribute on special teams and is not getting the touches worthy of a roster spot. Bennett must have been screwing up on special teams because Rideau basically took his role. Peace

Why is it, we're still going back and forth
I believe Rivera's contract was up and they did not resign him. Lovie had gained alot of power from going to the SB and decided to flex his muscles. If I remember this correctly, Lovie originally wanted Marinelli as his D Coordinator but Tampa would not let him go. He then wanted Babich but Angelo said he wanted someone with more experience so they settled on Rivera. After the SB, Lovie decided to promote Babich and let Lovie go. Ultimately, this was a huge mistake as we can see Lovie needed someone with a differing view running the defense. Rivera, as you said, was able to take Lovie's system and tweek it successfully. Babich hasn't a clue. Peace

PFW: Vasher, Dvoracek are primary culprits in defense's demise
Big Toe should be in the rotatiion. He looked good at the end of last yr. I think it would be a great idea to get Sapp in hear to talk to the players D Line. They need to hear an outside perspective. Peace

PFW: Vasher, Dvoracek are primary culprits in defense's demise
I think if you liked the coaching staff you wouldn't care. Because you don't, every little thing they do get's highlighted. That's you and that' fine. I just think it was a few meaningless reps he gave to someone at the end of blowout game. Peace

They must be kidding
Watched it again and your right, it is somewhere in the middle. Hester is about half his size. He could have simply grabbed him. I don't think he was intending to hurt him. It looked alot worse the first time I saw it. Peace
