  1. Agreed - they alre making him look all pro. Lot's of tipped passed today - D is doing a good job of anticipating the play. Peace
  2. Yes but I didn't want to take it to that level. You're right though - not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Peace
  3. I have come to the conclusion that Hester is not very 'football' bright. He has great natural instinct with the ball in the open field but he has limited football intelligence. Peace
  4. Where has this intensity been all yr? Damn. Peace

But of course Hass and Beekman. Also, Riddeau, Gettis, McGlover, Grossman, and Walker. Peace
  6. If Bellicheck can get Moss to block I am impressed. I remember film of him in Minny when he would quit on plays (Meryl Hodge used to love ripping into him). You are right though - NE comes to play for 60 minutes. They are definately the team to beat this yr. Peace
  7. I would stand by my thoughts that the Bears do not have the pieces in place for Martz to be successful here. The Bears would need a big time revamp personnel wise to support his scheme. Peace
  8. I would love to see another blowout especially after the crappy yr we had. Somewhere around 27-10 sounds about right. Peace
  9. I would add that the Bears currently do not have the pieces in place to run the 'greatest show on turf' offense that Martz would bring. Peace
  10. To each his own. Water under the bridge. Peace
  11. Pixote - thanks for the support. Bears 88 - I don't want to make this a bigger deal than it is. If you wish to discuss, send me an email at mustachspot@msn.com and we can converse off the board. I am hoping my explanation is enough and we can move on. Peace
  12. Not sure how the respond to this. I do take offense as I have been concluding all my posts this way for years on our previous site. I am not pushing a political position or belief. It is more I am wishing everyone on the site a safe journey through the day. If you remember Hill Street Blues, the watch commander everyday would end the meeting by saying be careful out there. This is my way of saying the same thing. Look, I don't know you other than you are a Bears fan. I would never profess to tell you to change how you post unless you were attacking another poster. I guess I would ask why this bothers you? Peace
  13. Reported on the SCORE that he hasn't worked out at all (not in shape to play). I would assume this means he will be a game day inactive and they will evaluate him in the off season. Peace
  14. Reminded me of Dwayne Rudd waving the ball in Edgar Bennett's face in the late 90s. I remember the following yr, Big Cat pancaked him and let him know we didn't appreciate his showboating. Peace
  15. Giants had the Sunday night game where they had 10 drops (against Washington). Wind conditions were horrible. Kept wondering why Coughlin felt the need to keep passing. Peace
  16. Locked up on the roster now so you can evaluate him the whole offseason. Peace
  17. More concerning to me is the quality of the drops. I can think of quickly 3 dropped TD passes (Berrian against Dallas, Hester against NY, and Moose against GB). These were killers. We cannot leave plays like these on the field. Peace
  18. Got to hear Williams on Bears All Access on the SCORE last night. I was fairly impressed. Interesting note is he learned how to study game film in high school from his high school coach and he prides himself on game preperation. Peace

    WR Thoughts

You really think Berrian is even better than this guy? And you're calling Crayton marginal? I have watched him and he is alot more physical than Berrian. Berrian has more speed but suspect hands is the equalizer. I would definately say yes but I really don't think you can compare the two. The primary reasons are the Cowboys have consistent QB play (Romo) and a running game. The Bears offense is a mess. Really the issue is what is his value. I don't believe I can answer that at this time. Angelo has a tough offseason ahead. I do not envy him. Peace
  20. for next yr from the Suntimes. Not sure if I agree with everything they are proposing but they do cover most. Interesting note is that Fred Miller has played all year with a partial torn MCL. Why the hell was this never mentioned????? Not saying that changes my opinion on what should happen with him going forward (he needs to go), but at least we know now there were other concerns. Also, Moose 3.3 million cap value next yr - no thanks. Get him out of here. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...-bear28.article Peace
  21. and other news. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...earnt28.article Peace
  22. I don't think Riddeau will play over Hass this yr. I doubt either will play Sunday. Just a way to get Riddeau under contract before the offseason. Peace

    WR Thoughts

Give him the 2nd lowest tag. He is valuable enough as a Special Teams players to keep around for 1.5 million next yr. No one will give us a 2nd for him. Peace
