The were horrible tonight. I take nothing away from the Vikings - they deserve to win. But if you are going to call crappy penalties, then call them on everyone: - Intentional grounding penalty - Alex Brown clearly held on Peterson's 2nd TD and the Bullinger 2 point play - roughing on Tillman Peace

New tackle is Matt Toeaina. I like what he brought to the table and brought that up in another thread. Peace

have we had in the past 3 weeks??? Has to be around 25. Offside penalties are a friggin joke. T Harris goes offside almost every game. Personal foul penalty on Miller - really nice. He should be benched for that crap. I don't want to see him play another down. Peace

The o-line is horrendous. That and the play calling sucks. With a decent O-line I think AP could give us at least a James Allen effort. Peace

Definately had some accuracy issues but I want to see him over the next 2 games. Peace

This game was definately on the offense. Very hard for Orton to compete in the rollerdome. Still need to address some issues on D (safety comes to mind first). Peace

but at least they didn't embarass themselves tonight. I was really worried they would get blown out. Impressions: 1 - Orton was marginal. I will give him a break since this was his first game back and he had to play in a hell hole. His accuracy, however, must improve the next two games. 2 - Nice game from Url. Good to see him step up on national TV. 3 - Get Hester off the field on offense. Orton has enough to worry about - he shouldn't have to line him up on every play. I want to see Bradley or Hass get those reps. Devin needs serious time in the offseason working at WR. 4 - Win the turnover battle by 3 and lose the game - dammit. How the hell does that happen. 5 - We need to see Wolfe more out of the backfield. I like AP but he gets arm tackled way, way too much. Peace

Matt Toeaina #75. He made 2 outstanding plays stuffing Peterson for losses. He has only been on the roster for 1 week and has made a very nice impact. Cross DT off the list of needs for next yr in the draft. Peace

Going to really disagree with this one. Tank was given chance after chance to get his act straight. After he was released from prison, he was told no more or your done. Angelo did what he had to do. Tank is the reason Tank is not here. I am not very happy with the way several of Angelo's offseason moves have played out. Arch, Walker, the o-line, etc. He is partially accountable for this train wreck. However, I agree 100% with his decision to let Tank go. Peace

tonight seals the Bears fate because they play Minny next week. One of those teams will end up will have 8 wins at that point (unless they tie). Peace

I believe we really don't need to see either Walker or Harris play the rest of the yr. I would rather see Izzy, Kennedy, and the 2 new tackles get the reps to see what we have from them for next yr. Hell, on passing downs put Alex in the middle as we have done in the past. Peace

I would say we may get 1 comp pick and not as high (maybe 5th round). Of course, we could also get a pick for Worrell who, although he really is not very good as a starter, has had a productive yr. You knew Arch is going away once he took a seat for McGowan. Probably will cut him after June 1st to spread the cap hit. Indy is going to tag either Clark or Sanders. If Sanders is not tagged, I would love to see us go after him. I think Briggs is gone because he will find someone to give him top LB $$$ and that won't be us. I like the idea of Berrian, Faneca, and Sanders. Grossman as well if we can get him on a 2 to 3 yr deal. Draft OT in round 1 and best available of wr/rb/og in round 2. Peace

Watched him play last weekend against Southern Illinois. Would love to see him if we can get him in the 3rd. We need to spend our top 2 picks on O-line. Peace

On the Oline: Tait - needs to move to RT where he was a better player at KC Metcalf - sucks and blows; he must go. Please, please, please play Beekman for the rest of the yr to see what he has. Kruetz - level of play has definately slipped; still one of the best but not the top in the league anymore; he stays. Hopefully, if we strengthen the guard play around him, he will not try to over compensate for the crap we had. Garza - Needs to be upgraded but better than Metcalf. May need to stay depending on how we upgrade the line. Would like to have him as the 3rd guard. Miller - sucks and blows; he must go. Best possible scenerio - Beekman plays the last 3 games and shows he is a starter going forward. He is the LG next yr. Bears sign Faneca and he takes over at RG. Draft a LT in round one and he starts next yr. Of course, this is just my opinion. Peace

Petrino showed absolutely no class with his action. I would love to see Samurai get the job. I don't think the Bears would avoid hiring a member of the 85 team to the coaching staff as long as they are qualified (remember Dent served as a D Line assistant coach for a few yrs). I don't want to see them hire some from the 85 team just because of the past glory (I'm sure you feel the same way). I'm sure if the circumstances presented themselves, Samurai would get an interview. Right now, however, we don't have an opening. Peace

I was simply noting that Berrian has stated he would like to be paid as a top 10 WR but his stats are not at that level. I would like to get him back but not at a top 10 WR salary. Peace
