The Bears have the most retired jerseys in the NFL with 13. The Giants are second with 11. The NFL discourages teams from retiring jersey because they don't want them to run out of numbers. If you think the Bears have no class, then why are you a fan? Peace

A player is worth what the market will pay him. My understanding is Brian gave the Bears a proposal before the FA deadline of around 5 million a year (heard it on the SCORE). The Bears probably told him too much and told him to go on the market and find his value. If other team's valued him at that amount, he would be signed somewhere else by now. And Brian was a great player in his time but he is no Ray Lewis who can be argued as one of the greatest of all time. Peace
