  1. Just like an "almost interception" lol! I agree, Houston was in there a lot chasing the QB....too bad he didn't just copy Willie with the fishing dance.
  2. I blame the veteran WR. Sure he came in really late. Maybe he isn't gelling with Cutler or Marshall either. Plus being the 5th target probably puts his give a damn card on the shelf. Many issues imo, so they have been giving Morgan most of the reps now.
  3. RD1 Marcus Peterson CB or Landin Collins S RD2 LB that sneaks into RD2 Benardick McKinney, Eric Kendrics, Denzel Perryman, Shaq Thompson...one is bound to be there RD3- Anthony Harris S or Josh Shaw CB/S

    What now?

I think they sold out when tickets hit the market. I am a die hard, I survive the good and bad and try not to get silly on message boards. They are bad, hope lost, and i will still wear orange and blue.
  5. Throwing deep the play before was dumb imo. Stop going for the kill, we need to make a 3rd down reasonable.
  6. 3 straight runs....not we get it! Make it 4
  7. Holmes doesn't understand the playbook. His time is coming to an end once Wilson is back.
  8. The problem is what do they do with 54 million guaranteed to Jay? That is not an amount they can forget about. Why is Jay good one week and then bad the next? His best two games were two we thought we would lose? Our three wins are the only games he didn't throw a INT. We know there will be INT's, that is part of football. Why didn't Trestman step in when the plays are not being called as the coaches called them? Instead he places blame on Jay afterwards when facing the media.
  9. One person cannot beat 11 whether your the highest paid or not. Yes I want Jay to play like a top 10 QB, top 5 was never expected out of him. The failures of this team fall on Trestman. Failing to have the entire team ready each week. We've seen penalities on offense take away big plays. Seen the offensive line miss a block causing the QB to fumble. A couple of LBs not in there gap and miss tackles, ST penalties and ineptitude. To see every topic be something about Jay gets old. Cutler is not going anywhere for two more full seasons. There will be a thousand more posts like this until 2017.
  10. It's funny how all that is talked about is Jay. I seen almost every player blow plays against Miami. The whole team lost, sure Jay helped too. If the team is not performing as a whole, who should this be falling on? Ah...now that is a debate. How can this equation get the whole team on track again including Jay?
  11. Why wouldn't defenses be baiting Jay to pass? He lines up, reads the front, and right call is to pass. Knowing a straight front 4 can get beat our 5 or 6 blockers, why not? Odds of a pick or fumble a bound to happen.
  12. Trading is not possible. The bonus money is guaranteed from the team that gave the contract.
  13. There is something about coaches that have fire. The quite smart type just haven't got it done in Chicago. If Harbaugh gets fired, you have to consider it. Jauron, Smith, and now Trestman have that quite approach. It's worth consideration.
  14. He audibled out of at least two other run plays in the first also. Time to take away the audible.
  15. Not really, just say'n. Only because that is how this has played out. He was called out by Marshall, so maybe they light it up next week.
  16. The Bears need to run the ball. Cutler can't be changing the plays to start the game off. Establish a run, short passes, and then take your shots. Forte is a top RB in this league and to be greedy by passing has alway burnt the Bears. Limit Cutler on his plays is what needs to happen.
  17. Ha! Next week Cutler will look great and it goes back and forth.
  18. As I said Lovie was tied to Urlacher, Trestman is tied to Cutler. Nothing will change because Cutler is not going anywhere with his contract. Best we can do is put pieces in place to draft a QB two drafts for now.
  19. Unfortunately, we have to play out his 3 yrs. This team is bad.
  20. I believe he was ticketed/charged for leaving the scene. Saying he was drunk is skeptical. Being young and destroying an expensive toy and then wanting it to be replaced by insurance could be his reason for running. Regardless, there has been worse and he's been good since.
  21. So true. Draft one had a blueprint of the previous regime and I swore Angelo made that Hardin pick. I think one more solid draft will elevate the defense if we don't swing and miss on S. After that, we can target upgrades/playmakers. CB, LB, DT will need more depth too.
  22. Re-draft challenge Today I went through the first 4 rounds, picked 30 players within those rounds including the guys we drafted and compared how they are doing. I would not change our draft at all. Guys that are performing Mosley, Donald, Barr, and maybe Pryor. Im mainly comparing players we wanted too. Other than those 3 our first 4 rounds Fuller, Ferguson, Sutton, Carey, and Vereen are doing as much or more than any of us imagined. Sure, Carey/Vereen not as much, but for fourth rounders in year one is great to see the field. Check out the draft, check out 6 weeks of stats, am I wrong? This effort by the scouting and front office is something few NFL teams experience. Lets hope they continue spoiling us and I think they will get some respect and patience with there next "who/what" pick.

    SMC is back

Glad he is back too. This guy needs to produce because it sickens me to see how well Chandler Jones has been doing for NE (21 career sacks) and to think we had a choice. Regardless, he has made more progress at LB and hopefully it continues.
  24. Never has. He is supposedly the highest paid rugby player and is leaving that pay dirt to pursue a career in the NFL. He has size and speed, 6-2 220 and his 40 time was 4.33 coming out of college. Worst case, he is a practice squad player, Middle case-Special teams contributor, Best case- RB (not a hard transition IMO) He has motivation to be great to go along with his athletic size and ability.
  25. Just for SCS Since there is no answer I've seen yet for a kick off returner, how about bringing this guy in for a look. Jarryd Hayne 26 years old is a speedster rugby player. 6-2" 220 He would be best suited to play special teams if anywhere to start off. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11703333...chase-nfl-dream
