Prove to us he is past his off the field issues. That's my biggest problem 2 suspensions is hard to swallow especially when 1 of those was drugs. I'll give u that he's got the talent to be special. In order to even think of drafting him we gotta do alot in FA 1st and then might even have to trade up to get him. I've seen a couple mocks where he goes top 10. Do u really want to move that far up to get him.

Thats not really saying a whole lot though is it lol

It was ok to begin with. When JA took over in 02 he inherited kruetz who was already a pro bowler. He used FA in 04 to get brown and tait(poison pill contract to ensure KC wouldn't match). Then used FA again to get garza and miller in 05-06. Line was great those 2 yrs then started downhill from there. Due to age and injuries starting in 07. We tried with Orlando pace in 09 which he was old and was an epic fail. Been bad since 08 while getting worse and worse. During those good yrs we could have drafted a few in 2nd 3rd rds to have current guys groom them

Ok I'll provide free history lesson. Try not to puke as its tough to swallow thinking of his drafts 2002(9 picks) 1st- marc colombo 3rd- Terrence metcalf 2003(12 picks) None 2004(8 picks) None 2005(6 picks) None 2006(7 picks) 7th - tyler Reed 2007(9 picks) 4th - josh beekman 2008(9 picks) 1st - chris williams 7th - chester adams 7th - kirk barton 2009(9 picks) 7th - lance Louis 2010(5 picks) 7th - j'marcus webb 2011(5 picks) 1st Gabe carimi As u can from 2003-2007 drafted only 2 with highest a 4th then in 2009 and 2010 only 2 guys both 7th rounders. And with Williams most believe that we screwed him over
  5. Sorry im not convinced it will ever go away even if he wins SB

My problem with angelo isnt so much that guys like williams didn't work out. It's the fact that how many yrs did he go and not even address tge OL all together even when we saw that father time was setting in.
  7. We saw brady couple yrs ago go after his offensive coordinator i believe it was. And Rodgers did it in that 2nd game against us when james jones ran wrong route. Prove to me his teammates dont care for him. Even fotmer teammates ive heard come out and say he gets the raw deal from media and fans but inside that locker room the players(whose opinions i trust more than fans/media) genuinely love the guy. I don't necessarily want a qb that's all buddy buddy with fans and media. I want a qb whos teammates care for him and a qb who can win games. He does that. U know if cutler throws a beautiful ball that WR drops and cutler doesn't confront the guy then mefia and fans will say"he doesn't care"
  8. Last i heard his teammates love him. What's more important his teammates have his back or his fans like him. And almost every qb has had run ins with coaches and players. Including brady rodgers

How can peanut make both teams
  10. 1 of the problems last night for packers was said post game by Charles Woodson who said they didnt game plan for kaep to run. That's a medicine to get destroyed. How can u be so dumb to think he isnt going to run much
  11. I was playing a texas hold em tourney but when i was watching it looked like gb forgot kaep cab run.
  12. bowlingtwig replied to adam's topic in Bearstalk
That's cool he could use it occasionally lol
  13. bowlingtwig replied to a post in a topic in Bearstalk
Yup i agree. I want at least 1 OL taken 1st 2rds. Preferably in the 1st but no more than 2 OL

I have a friend that's a diehard Steelers fan and he believes arians being let go is the reason they haven't won mor. Also listen to former pit players under arians and most of them were pissed he was let go and most of them say he will succeed anywhere he goes and that he would be a good fit here in Chicago
  15. Honestly im convinced it won't matter what Cutler does most of the national media will still find faults with him. Even if he had a better yr than Rodgers everyone will still hate Cutler. Even winning SB MVP won't help

From things I've heard ogletree is going top 15. If that happens screws up ur draft. Im amazed at how quickly u bail on guys. Seems like in your world that if they dont do goods things in yr 1 then there epic fails and need yo be discarded.

Already giving up on hardin i see. 1 yr and ur done i see.
  18. bowlingtwig replied to a post in a topic in Bearstalk
That doesn't mean ignore the position at top of draft. This is the deepest that position has been in a long time
  19. bowlingtwig replied to a post in a topic in Bearstalk
U said we only have "1 f'n LB". Did u not lol. As u would say "I'm providing facts"
  20. bowlingtwig replied to a post in a topic in Bearstalk
Your basing ur entire judgement under the assumption emery blows this draft. See Mr. Negative

I understand about previous drafts. Its been documented on here how badly JA was at it. But as for last yr its not fair to judge quite yet. Results aren't great yet but who knows. Smc, hardin and Jeffrey could all turn into studs with a new coaching staff
  22. Wait we agree on something. Wheres my calendar. I think thats a 1st even going back to the old board lol
  23. TE

bowlingtwig replied to a post in a topic in Bearstalk
I don't pretend to know u however u are negative about almost every move. And u should know it takes 2-3 yrs to properly judge a draft. And when did i ever mention a damn thing about the combine. Personally i think the combine is a joke
  24. bowlingtwig replied to a post in a topic in Bearstalk
I know exactly how the roster looks. Did u know as of now we have no guards. Look urlacher im sure will be back and roach should be resigned as well. When will u wake up and realize our problem is offense. We scored 9 defensive TDs that doesn't scream to me that defense was a major problem. I expect at least 1 LB to be drafted but not in 1st. We can't continue to ignore the O that's how we got in this mess Oh and just so u know we have 4 LBs currently under contract for 2013. Lance Briggs, JT Thomas, Blake Costanzo and Dom Decicco
  25. TE

Dude everyone for ND played bad that game so does that mean they all suck. Everyone has those days. Even the greats. If u actually watched him play and more than just the 1 game u would see that although he isn't a great blocker he has become good at it. The problem terra is u want guys who have no flaws. Find me that guy and I'll get down and kiss ur feet. Those guys don't exist. Jimmy Graham is considered a great TE but newsflash he drops passes and isnt a good blocker Gronkowski is considered top TE in league. He is injury prone and isnt a great blocker either. U need to accept the fact that all players have some flaw and all players will have a bad game every now and then. But u know what we all know that u will hate our draft cuz that's who u are.
