I heard i believe from adam schefter that 1 thing that made Trestman do successful in the CFL is that he didn't meddle with personel decision. He let the talent evaluators bring in the talent and he created a system to fit the personel that he was given. I hope he gets job

Couldn't agree more. Im not a huge fan of the cover 2. I would like to be a bit more aggressive at times but for ppl to dismiss it entirely is nuts. Ask urselves. What would our record have been without that defense. How about back when we made super bowl if it wasn't for that defense plus an extraordinary special teams we dont make SB and i wonder if we would have even made playoffs. That defense may not be sexy but more times than not it gets the job down. Look at that high flying offense of GB with 1 of the best qbs in the game downright struggle to put up 25 against us. The fact remains that offense is the problem. If u change defensive schemes now then we are in a complete rebuild mode

If holmgren is so great please how there were 7 other HC jobs available and he didn't even get an interview. Neither did chucky or cowher. So why keep bringing up someone who would have only been a stop gap

According to draftnik they have him listed as the 31st WR. 6'3 and 196 lbs. With a 4.58 40 time. Kinda undersized not all that quick and didnt play against top notch competition. Will hurt stock. Walterfootball doesn't have him within 1st 4 rds. Interesting guy to keep an eye on for maybe that 6th rd area

I've never said he was the #1 reason. He never really went after that go to WR in the draft. I also blame coaching staff for not being able to get more out of the players. Angelo never provided us with the necessary depth to overcome injuries. Every team faces injuries and u gotta be able to overcome them
