Well, I'm a big time Miami fan. I follow the team just as hard as I do the Bears. You make it seem Hester could have been great is the coaches didn't "jerk him around". What actually happened, was that he was not able to excel at any one position, for the most part, because he could not handle learning the positions. He could not play WR because he dropped balls and could not play the playbook. He could not play DB because by the time he thought through were to be, he was toast. They even tried him at RB but found he gift did not translate well 5-7 yards from the los. The only place he was a game breaker was on special teams. And actually, I loved the pick , and said so on the old boards when people were killing JA. I knew he would be something we had never seen before in the return game. Now I am keeping my fingers crossed that he can excel at WR. Predicting the draft is a fools game. Everyone thinks they can do it, from Mel Kiper to Bob the pool boy. It takes alot of scouting and alot of luck. I choose to trust the ones who have the time and resources to go out and see the players first hand. And even they are wrong some of the time.

I agreed. I still like yours better than anything else I have seen here on Talkbears. Except I might trade Robiske for Duke in the second round because I like him alot, but I wouldn't cry if we took Duke.

If Harvin falls to us then it will be a insanly good value pick and we would have to take him there. Dont count on it though.

Really? From everything I have read, he was a playmaker on the lines of a Harvin or Maclin before he got hurt and ran good routes. Just curious, have you watched him alot or is that impression from other sources you have read.

I dont think anyone is questioning that we will attempt to sign Holt. The biggest problem to all of this appears to be that his agent said he doesn't see Holt coming to the Bears. Hopefully Pace can change his mind.

What are the thoughts on Brandon Tate? I read Brad Biggs piece on him and he sounds like a Desean JAckson or Eddie Royal type of player. Will we be able to get him?

Exactly. The fans have been extremely unfair to Rex in his time here. I get booing when he is playing bad, but it got to a point where he was booed heavily after every incompletion. I dont see it.

Agree on both counts. We have already witnessed some of Cutler's leadership. He has talked about how good Bennett will be and he is putting in calls to Plax. Pace I look for to bring back some accountibility to the oline. Kruetz gets in peoples faces, but when you play like crap and you do that, the other players will ignore you since you dont practice what you preach. On defense, when you have no vocal "leaders" the leadership must come from the coaches. So I think this aspect will change with Marinelli and Lovie being more hands on. Or so I hope.

Its been quite some time since Url has been the DPOY. He is the captain of a defense that reeks of poor leadership. He is hardly innocent and really has no business acting so aloof about such a bold move to help his franchise. He would be well served to shut his mouth and make sure the defense does not quit down the stretch this year, or he might find himself picking between half price deals to play for the Lions.

I think that Url better get on the Cutler bandwagon or he might not be here for very much longer. Its pretty clear who JA has handed the keys to the organization to. JA is not going to let locker room politics ruin his chance for his next contract.
