  1. Brady is what 40? If they are willing to trade him, then they must not have faith in him to replace Brady. No reason to look for a new QB in a year or 2, if you got someone good to replace him now.

    playing GM

I'm not sure that signing Jeffery to a team friendly contract is possible. I'd guess the only options retain him are to tag him or to pay him.

    Draft Status

I wouldn't say he knows his QB's, just realized or the people reporting the rumors realized, that Cutler isn't the answer. Basically he supposedly tried to trade for the second QB drafted both years he's been in Chicago. If the rumors are true, it shows he knows a QB is needed, not necessarily that he can judge and find a good one. I'm still hoping the guy is fired myself.
  4. Those are the major needs I said they needed last year, minus DE, and they weren't addressed appropriately and a major reason I hated the 2016 draft. GM is the #1 pre-draft need imho.

    Bears v. Lions

Bears look competent on both sides so far.

    Bears v. Lions

Is this the first time the Bears were leading in a game this season?

    Bears v. Lions

I think the Bears take it or lose close. Picked up Hoyer and Miller and starting them Jeffery this week.
  8. Jeffery had one after a Howard run, when the Bears scored 3.
  9. Hopefully Langford didn't tear his achilles
  10. And the secondary was bad before anyone was hurt. Fangio is a coach that the Bears should keep until he retires.
  11. What team is this? Edit: Nevermind, it's the Bears... Couple nice high tempo plays on that drive.
  12. All 3, with Pace Picante Sauce smothering the whole thing.
  13. True, plus Brady will be 40 the start of next season. I can't see them moving him if he is the real deal, as they will need a QB sooner then later. But they do need to move on from Cutler while they are rebuilding.
  14. Cutler is going to look like CM Punk last night, after this game.
  15. I dropped White last week to pick up Fuller in fantasy last week. I'm really not regretting it.
  16. Running against the Bears isn't smart, they have a solid front 7.
  17. Yea my bad, I have both on my fantasy team, still getting used to these new kids. Langford got me a TD though Edit: I think he misses one or 2
  18. My guess, Tajae Sharpe and Hopkins have a field day. 100 yards a piece. Llamar Miller doesn't have a good day. Maybe fantasy wise, but doesn't produce much. Langford has a better day then expected. Bears lose by 9, thanks to the random pick up kicker but the game hits the under.
  19. It depends on Sitton. They lost Forte and Bennett this year which were 2 big targets, if Sitton can pick up the offense early, Langford has a chance for dump offs, and Miller can pick up some catches. There is potential there. I think it will be a rough couple weeks.
  20. Emery was horrible. Angelo was horrible. Trestman was ok. He gave us the second best offense in the league one year, so I can't say he was totally bad. Pace turned it over, but did he turn it over in a good way? I guess we will have to wait and see, but given the Saints and what he has done here so far, I don't think so. BTW, Slauson just turned 30 which is prime for a guard. Marshall was one of the top WR's in the league last year and will be this year and probably next. Forte may have a year or two left. Bennett is one of the best all around TE's in the league.
  21. Pace made me not have a team to support this year after over 30 years of being a Bears fan. White and Floyd will both be a bust. His player management has been horrible, and over valuing he or Fox had previously had on teams they were with. The Bears have the prodigy of one of the worst teams in the NFL as their. Slauson, Forte, Mashall, soon to be Jeffery, Bennett, and so on, tore this team up and gave it the Saints with out Brees.

    Gould is gone

Enter Connor Barth.... An ex Bronco, cut from the Saints, who woulda thunk it....

    Gould is gone

I lost a lot of respect for him after running his mouth on the radio during the whole Brandon Marshall thing. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0904-story.html

    Oline Changes

Matt Slauson was the straw that broke the camels back with me and the Bears for now. He's 30 years old, and was my favorite Bear. If they were deadset on getting Whitehair, they should have kept him for competition and leadership while Grasu and Whitehair developed, as he can play both positions exceptionally well. Right now, I am following them for fantasy reasons. All of the Bears starters are undervalued at the moment, butthat line is making me think twice.
  25. I am not going to say write them off. The line just looked bad when Cutler and Hoyer was out there. Sanchez looked like an NFL QB against the secondary. The line possibly can gel, but the secondary will likely need some swaps. I watched because the Bears are low ranked in fantasy football reasons, and they kinda backed up my fears. I was hoping the strong front 7 would make the team a steal for a late D, Langford would be a steal at late RB, and either White or Braverman would be a steal for a WR.
