Trubisky Rumor
I totally agree they should, if there is a chance they won't get to draft him. If you see the QB for your franchise, you get him ASAP, and trade up if needed. If you are worried about getting the best value for the pick when drafting a QB, he probably isn't worth wasting the draft pick on. At best you take a flyer on them in round 3 if you aren't sold on them. No reason to risk your first or 2nd round pick on a QB that you don't want to tie your franchise to.

Trubisky Rumor
Yea, I can see that being a sell to someone, but the things that Trubisky does better then Watson are the things I value most in a QB. It's a matter of preference, I could learn to like Watson if he was drafted, but for now I am on the Trubisky wagon.

Trubisky Rumor
I don't see how a QB is good at 12 and not at 3. If u believe in a qb to lead your team into the future, then draft him as early as possible. If he isn't worth it, then don't waste a pick drafting him. It's not like every other position on the team where he can switch positions. Either he is good enough of a qb to take at 3 and be your teams future or not worth drafting. Trubisky at 3 if available or don't give a darn about the draft for me

What's your final dream draft?
Trubisky That's it my dream draft complete

Trubisky Rumor
I would love it if they went Trubisky. My interest in the NFL and Bears has waned the last few years, be it never ending reign of Cutler or the GM's running the show, they got me to where i watched maybe 5 games last year (not going to get political, but other reasons too.) I would legitimately get excited and here posting and checking posts everyday if they drafted Trubisky. I think it's a shot of excitement a lot of fans would have, and rejuvenate the base a little. He's got everything I like in a qb, goes through progressions, doesn't turn the ball over, and decent size. That comes with low expectations coming out due to experience, which may let the fan base give him some room to grow.

Someone sell me, please
I don't see drafting a Safety that early either. When is the last time a safety has been drafted in the top 3, ever? Edit: 1991 Browns, Eric Turner, number 2 overall.

Adrian Peterson
I have avoided him in fantasy football since then, just can't get behind a guy that did what we saw in those pictures.

Realistic view of looking bad
If you put Aaron Rodgers on a team or the best 5 players other positions on a team, Aaron's Rodger's team will do better. A possible franchise QB is always the BPA, due to the positions value to a team.

Realistic view of looking bad
That's how I feel. They can basically draft any QB this year. Do it when you have a that chance, because hopefully they won't be drafting this early anytime soon. I haven't been able to follow the off season very well, so when I first his name mentioned I liked it. I thought that's an outside the box idea that could be a stop gap or turn out well. Now I like the signing, as long as it's not used as a reason to avoid drafting a QB at 3.

Every year is not the year, but if you want a QB you get them there. You don't get them in the 3rd or second.

Realistic view of looking bad
I'm not a fan of Pace, and expected Jeffery to be gone this year. My biggest gripe is that Glennon is getting paid what he is, and only because it hints they may not take a QB at 3. If they still take one there, then I have no problem with his pay either.

Bears Release Cutler!
I didn't think I'd see the day. Would have been nice if a gm woulda traded him when he had value

NFL Free Agency thread
ODB and Marshall is going to be a scary combo.

Alshon not expected back.
Been too long since I saw that movie.

Brandon Marshall Released...
They took on Bennett last year, and Brady has a year or two left. I wouldn't put it past him.

Brandon Marshall Released...
Wow, it actually did pass. Why the heck would they not try to get some compensation for a top WR, and best available in free agency. That's a major gaff by Pace.

Alshon not expected back.
He wasn't happy when Marshall was traded, so I never expected him back. Interesting that if a team wanted, they could have Jeffery, Marshall, and Bennett this offseason.

NFL PA Advising FA's Not to Sign With Bears
May run into them eventually, our local does a lot of travelling due to loss of factories and such around here.

Pierre Garcon
http://bearswire.usatoday.com/2017/02/10/c...-pierre-garcon/ He could be a really good pick up for the Bears. He could be the Mushin Muhammad (vet WR) to a rookie QB, to help them learn and be reliable, especially if the Bears have came to terms with the fact they will move Jeffery this year.

Add Cards to QB Needy Teams
He had a really rough season, or atleast my fantasy team did with him at QB.

I wish it was for 2 years. 5 years of apprenticeship for me.

Forget about Malik Hooker at #3
I never liked the idea of a safety that early anyways. It seems the best ones have shorter careers on top due to the impacts they take at the position, with a few exceptions. At 3 you should be getting a QB, LT or DE. A cornerstone for any team, no other positions are worth a look.

Report: Jimmy G atop Bears priority list
He'll be 40 in august. Do you think that New England, one of the best managed teams in years would let a good QB go, knowing their legend will retire after this superbowl or next year. They are to smart to if they think he can be the man. He will have Cassel like results if traded, if they keep him he is legit.
