  1. He needs someone like Dave Toub to work with him.
  2. 18 years ago?!?!?! Holy smokes how time flies. Seems just like yesterday. God speed Walter!
  3. Forgot about the rumors of Jim Harbaugh. Hmm... http://www.nbcsports.com/chicago/chicago-b...rd-bears-season http://sportsmockery.com/2017/05/jim-harba...ach-bears-2018/
  4. Funny. Because I was curious I thought; ‘wonder what Marc is up to these days’? Figured after a flame out as OC in Baltimore would pretty much finish him. Alas, it appears the CFL is wher he belongs. Trestman was hired as the Toronto Argonauts HC this year. From Wikipedia: “The 2017 Toronto Argonauts season is the 60th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 145th season overall. The Argonauts improved upon their 5–13 record from 2016 with their sixth win after 13 games and clinched a playoff spot following a Hamilton Tiger-Cats loss on October 13, 2017. The team will host their first playoff game since 2013 and will attempt to win their 17th Grey Cup championship.”
  5. I’m gonna say it now but it looks like the Eagles will be in the Super Bowl.
  6. Not what I said (or at least meant). I feel Freeman disgracefully soiled the #50. This after the ‘real 50’ told him he could use it.
  7. I don’t think getting rid of Fox is the answer. Still think the fight and toughness we read about from another player on the Saints was in direct line with what we’ve heard about Fox’s teams in the past. Question is, were they talking about defensive players or offensive players? It’s pretty clear to those of us watching from the couch which squad isn’t performing as well as they could...and why.
  8. It unfortunate that Jerrell had to do this again... while wearing the #50. Puts a smear on one of our former HOFers after he entrusted Freeman to carry on the legacy. It’s one thing being caught once...but twice? I’m just glad that Christian Jones is coming along in his development.
  9. So there’s talk Eric Ebron may want out of Detroit. Know he’s a TE but so was Zach Miller. Is he a tradeable option? And...he played at North Carolina...although a few years before Biscuit was there.
  10. ...and a pretty blatant hold on Floyd on the edge...again.
  11. Ok Biscuit. No pressure but let’s see you do your thing.
  12. Challenge probably won’t win but Foxy has had enough of these BS officials.
  13. The guys leg nearly snaps off and he “dropped” the ball. What a total BS call!!!
  14. End of the year for Miller on a spectacular catch.
  15. He did at least let Trubisky roll out...once. Progress?
  16. I’m done with this ‘human joystick’ crap. When you get the ball GO UPFIELD.
  17. Feel the same way. Especially after the opening drive where the D played like the D from last year and early this year. Penalties kill the stop...
  18. Another note I observed about this Inman kid I like. Watched an interview he just gave after joining the team and have to say I’m impressed. Well spoken, very engaged and focused. He was asked several times about his thoughts on leadership and had some impressive perspective considering he now is on a very young team and he himself is a ‘veteran’. One quote he used to illustrate his thought on leadership was from Michael Jordan: ‘When Jordan would step on the court he would tell the rest of the players he would need them to match his intensity’. I gotta say, good choice of quotes and well said. Now go ‘get some’! Welcome to Chicago (new) #17!
  19. I’d liken this to the experiment that was Devin Hester as WR. Although my opinion was in the minority (I liked it) overall it didn’t work. Big reason, to me, is if you line him up as a slot receiver that pretty much tells the other team what you’re up to. In this case you’d be better off just having him line up in the backfield and catch it there.
  20. Gotta say ... I like it. He’s a ‘big body’ receiver (6’3” 205#) the team needs but the question now is how productive can or will he be? In exchange for a 7th round pick makes it an easier pill to swallow. Dude had 800 yards last year with ~14 yard average and 4 TDs so that’s as good if not better than what we currently have.
  21. Funny...wasn’t this the recipe Lovie Smith ran with? ?
  22. Not for nothing but apparently Hicks is leading the team with 6 sacks. Who knew? Didn’t seem like he had that many but good on him. And just in case you were curious; Jones leads overall combined tackles at 41 and Fuller leads with individual tackles at 31. http://www.nfl.com/teams/statistics?team=chi
