Brian Urlacher
As a player, he's worth about 2mil. I'd give him another mil as face of the franchise and locker room leader. Definately 3 mil tops...

What's next?
I say 54 it's in the fold by the end of next week.

Lemon's Wack Mock 2.0
Te'o would make me puke in the 1st. I think he has bust written all over him.

Jake Long signs with the Rams
Yeah, but nobody knew he'd been that cheap. Shows how much the price drops as time goes by. Never know, we may have offered him more.

Backup QB?
I can see it both ways. As long as they address the 2 open OG and LB positions, I don't care.

Bears best move is the one they didnt make
I don't think he lied about the surgeries. (we may have to fact check that) ESPN just didn't know about them. Please never confuse Manning with Favre. He's about as stand up as they have ever come. He is a god in Indy.

Bears best move is the one they didnt make
I would argue that Lovie's defensive prowess came from an inordinate amount of draft picks and free agent aquisitions. That in and of itself kept the offense behind for his tenure. Look at the DL and safety picks alone and it becomes evident as to why the OL sucks. I'll even add with what we've invested on D over the years, we should have been #1 every year...

Roach gone
Get him Jason! I'm afraid I'm on my way to losing my bet...

Bears best move is the one they didnt make
What's the story on that?

Backup QB?
Out of the names mentioned, I'll take McCown. I don't like our chances if Cutler goes down anyway.

Urlacher talking to Queens
Lewis got a fat contract though. 5mil+ a year.

Bears "Open for Business" on Trading Back in Draft
Nice tidbit...

I saw this coming!!!!
Stevie Wonder saw that coming...

Webb lovers
Agreed and I don't believe anyone on this board is a "Webb lover".

Upcoming season are we getting better
I'll just comment on us. I think we are going to be better based on Lovie being gone. We saw the influence he had in free agency and the draft. Aside from the Marshall trade, which I think any GM would do, I hated the moves that were made last year. Now that Lovie is out of the picture, Emery is doing his thing. I think he picked a good coach and now good players are being acquired.

Bears to do list
Even if we don't have a starting guard on the roster and Garza is aging and below average?
-
Bears Sign Bushrod
What I like here is; the tackle battle will be where it should be. The right side. Going into a season debating the skills and who your left tackle will be is unsettleing. The right side is always where the struggle crack the atrting lineup should be. Webb and Carimi are both young and capable of improvement. Let the "optimistic" debate begin...

Bears Sign Bushrod
2 interior OL is a huge need.
-
Bears to do list
I think Roach and Urlacher stay. That leaves 6 draft choices to fill the OG, DB, WR slot. With the other 3 picks, I take C, LB, LB.

Bears Sign Bushrod
I'll take Cooper in 1 and Jones in 2 please!

A real fullback? Novel concept
It kills me to have this conversation. Clutts was perfect and he was let go for squat. Don't get me started on Greg Olsen and why we are desparate for TE. So glad the dumbass crew is gone.

Urlacher Gone?
Url was below average last year. Emery is probably letting him see what his value is on the market which is lower than what he thinks it is. That should get him a deal for what the Bears are offering. If the Bears find value in him, he'll be a Bear.
