  1. ? I was thinking the same thing, funny...?
  2. He was low end ypc guy in college too. He made his bones on yards after contact. IMO, Monty runs his ass off, but lacks vision and burst. Then, there's his fatal flaw, the jump cut.
  3. I think we are set at receiver. It will be interesting to see who plays slot. Your speculation is right with RT, as we don't have anyone on the roster. Leatherwood and Diesch were cut very early in their careers, Leatherwood for slow recognition and Diesch for being too weak and extremely short arms. Both players are super athletic. Out of those two, Leatherwood gets the nod for backup guard. Diesch should be cut. Borom has shown lack of awareness, slow feet and short arms. He also should be cut. I'm looking for veteran swing tackle to come in with a very high draft choice. Kramer is odd man out at center if they elect to pay Whitehair.
  4. What does the bold indicate? We have two needs on OL. There is no-one on the roster that can fill in at LT. If we draft Paris Johnson from Ohio State, he could be the starting RT and backup LT.
  5. I kinda think we are in disagreement. Leatherwood is not even a backup at the position. He's been relegated to guard and is hanging on by a thread at that. We still need to sign and draft someone that can play right tackle. I'm guessing the veteran will have had experience at both.
  6. That'll never happen. Leatherwood may have the highest pressure per snap ratio in NFL history. If he makes the team, outs as a backup guard only.
  7. Poles... "if it's not a fit, they don't come here".
  8. Dude is a dumbass. He cost himself millions by refusing to play right tackle.
  9. Not only was he heavy and out of shape, he didn't even finish the drills that people came to see him do. Hard no...
  10. Orlando Brown is going to command at least 25 mil/year. I'm looking at current teams that have that clout are the Bears, Falcons, Raiders, Patriots, Bengals and Cardinals. I'm eliminating the Bengals, Patriots and Raiders because they wouldn't have enough left for the rookie pool. Screw it, we're getting his ass! We own this off-season!
  11. He should be ok with that. We just don't want him near slot receivers that the Will will get.
  12. We still may be in play for Orlando Brown. He's going to command an unaffordable deal for most teams. Also, Brown has gone to 4 consecutive pro bowls at both tackle positions by the age of 26. If the Chiefs signed the other guy for 20 mil a year, Brown is probably looking for 25 mil.
  13. I'm thinking Edmonds will absolutely be the MLB with Edwards being Will and Sanborn being the Sam. Sanborn would come out on Nickel and Dime and Edwards coming out in Dime. Back to the days of Url, Briggs and Hill...
  14. He is exactly the guy Flus wants roaming the middle. He's a lot longer than Roquan is. Kind of an Urlacher type of athlete. I like it.
  15. Now that we've addressed a few needs, here is a look at what could happen on draft day. As we sign more free agents, of course this will change. I'm not sure why they give me a D for the RB. I can take the heat.
  16. He can get two starters at DE easily in this draft.
  17. Sanborn will be that 2 down LB for us. TJ is a premier coverage LB, so he'll play all downs.
  18. At 14 mil, I'm thinking Whitehair is going to have to restructure or get cut.
  19. Got 2 for 1 Roquan. I remember wanting Edmonds over Roquan in the draft. Crazy stuff. How much money do we have left?
  20. I don't know that guy, but it's very plausible at this point given that the right tackles are signed elsewhere.
  21. I'm thinking the only big top player splash is on OL or that DL from the Broncos. Everything else is meh. Maybe Monty back for 5 mil or less per year.
