  1. Just stop. This isn't fun anymore. I warned PHX that he was looking up a dead goats ass by debating you.
  2. Based on Vegas thinks he's the best quarterback in this class. That's a projection. You claiming that empiric data suggests that it's likely untrue is flawed math. Whatever 'what if' you can throw in there is hyperbole. The only way you can use the past to predict the future is through scientific validation.
  3. That's not odds. It's merely a percentage based on flawed math. I can guarantee that Caleb Williams has the best QB odds to win a Superbowl out of this class.
  4. That's not how it works. It only works if you have Justin Herbert as your QB.
  5. Did we? Coleman Shelton gave up more pressures than any center in the NFL last year. He was signed because he can be easily cut if we get someone better. Poles is on my shit list over this center position for three years now. He better get one drafted...
  6. Haha! You give me too much credit. Was watching Carr and O'Hara give a Justin vote and got curious as to what the compilation would reveal. It's a pretty long list so far...
  7. Can everyone provide names of players and commentators that day the Bears should build around Justin? Derrick Carr Shawn O'Hara Kyle Long George Kittle Brian Urlacher Jay Cutler Chris Long That's a start...
  8. The only position you truly draft up for need is QB. If you think a LT has all pro ability for the next 15 years, you take him. We all need to remember the premium positions. QB, LT, EDGE and WR.
  9. Stinger will see it as a sign that he knows something...🤪
  10. Gotta be careful around here these days...🤣🤣🤣
  11. Hey, you made it look like I was the moron that said that...🤪
  12. Lol, put the weed away Stinger! Fields knows nothing yet. You yourself have said, at least 748 times, that we don't know what Poles is going to do. I'd also lay money that he (Poles) doesn't either.
  13. I had that hybrid thought as well, but didn't want to cloud the message. If he can catch in traffic, I would definitely explore the Taysom Hill role. I honestly believe what you stated though, that someone will try him as a starting QB, thinking they can fix him. I believe he will to prove as broken before he will give up the QB1 dream.
  14. This is where most media are screwing with the narrative. There is a huge difference in trading the number one pick vs trading your, current, starting quarterback. Poles has stated, more than once, that he would have to be blown away by a QB prospect to consider replacing Fields. At what point does a GM get blown away? Film? Doubtful. Personal interview? Possible. Private workout? Ding ding ding! This is a career decision for Poles, because billionaires don't care for negative mistakes. My opinion is that he waits until the personal workout. Y'all remember when he exhausted Darnell Wright last year, leading Wright to tell Poles, "I'll never quit on you". If he does that at 9, that should be the minimum for number 1. So, end of month is probably when he decides on what he wants do at QB. My guess is that he's told Fields to listen to nobody but either him or Flus until then. Regarding Fields: many people have said we can't keep him on the roster due to the QB conflict on the locker room. It's a big boy game and a big boy business. They all know how it goes. If Poles approaches Justin and says, "nobody wanted to give up much for you in trade. So, we are keeping you and drafting a QB at 1. You will enter camp at number 1 and you will have the opportunity to win the job and show what you are made of". If he balls out, he could make a case for us to keep him and trade the the rookie. That's the wildest part of the scenario, with the Fields getting a big trade partner as more likely. Win win Bears. If Justin competes and fails, we have shown him the ultimate respect, by allowing him to fall on his sword. At that point, Bears lose, because we get next to nothing in return for him.
  15. I'm willing to bet that four QBs go in the top ten.
  16. Poles has made four moves so far. All solid depth pieces at IOL , S, TE and RB. He's obviously compensating for lack of draft picks. Since the consensus says we are drafting Caleb, I'm trading the 9 pick. Here goes...
  17. I hope it's a ploy. Arlington Heights must have a bunch of morons on their counsel.
  18. Yeah, put me down as disappointed. My only complaint on Poles was that he didn't get us a center last year and it killed us. If it kills us again, it will be unforgivable.
  19. There could also be a scenario that we keep Fields and draft Caleb. People initially stated that it would be a tough locker room to win with Justin in it. Now, of it's true that Fields has lite market value, Poles can have a frank conversation with Justin about what his role is. "You're going to be the starter next season until Caleb is ready. If you believe you are a franchise QB you have at least six weeks to audition and prove it." Trade deadline comes and we may decide to trade Caleb if Justin transcends. Win win, either way it goes.
  20. I don't understand it. Every team in the NFL can trade for him. I found it stupid from true beginning. At the combine, 4 medical teams evaluate you, then it's over. He chooses to have it done numerous separate times, which I would find overwhelming.
  21. Good thing is, we don't have to pinch pennies yet. Good to get your guy.
  22. They interviewed him for six hours. You don't have to marry the girl if she gives you want you want...
