Trubisky. Steakhouse. James MacMahon...
You may be right about using Glennon. But I really don't see him as a "poor bastard." I think he's in a far better, and more lucrative, spot than he was with the Bucs. He has an opportunity to show what he has for an audition for what happens to him when Trubisky does take over.

Bears Covert Operations on Trubisky
Well said and I can't agree more. The only way to change is TO CHANGE.

Bears Covert Operations on Trubisky
Good read. Makes the crap about Fox not knowing seem dubious at the least.

Walter Football Draft Grade
Great point Bowlingtwig.

Supposedly McCaskeys told Pace he was to take MT
The Chiefs got Mahomes, but I know what you're saying. Pretty much the same with the Texans giving Osweiler to Cleveland and then trading up for Watson. Paces' move surprised everyone and he got the player that the team coveted. I think he marks it done as mission accomplished. The talking heads have to spin this for as much hay as they can make. And everyone loves a soap opera. By training camp we won't be taking much about this crap.

Walter Football Draft Grade
I'm hoping the guys Pace drafted have a huge chip on their shoulders and bring their full potential to bear. They were drafted, the golden ring is in sight, take it!

Walter Football Draft Grade
One man's opinion. Who cares. What's done is done. Get over it and wait for Pace to be vilified or crucified. If and buts are nothing.

UDFA's
Good. Being from one of my alma maters he must be familiar with kicking in bad weather.

PACE dumb and dumber or genius?
I'm in the optimistic group. And second Mad's thank you to Stinger for putting it down. This seems like Pace has definitely taken a risky path, but hell, we've been crap as a team for years, so I'm ready to accept some chances to move to the next level.

Sign a kicker. Don't know who, but we need some improvement in the kicking game.

Crazy Question...
Yes. If you asked anyone on this board, or on this planet for that matter, they'd say the Bears are QB challenged. Take a freaking risk an move on, or just be the Puckers whipping boys.

So apparently Fox didn't know
Yeah, that's not good. Jason: I want to thank you for being Chicken little and screaming the sky is falling. I' glad that ther is someone that can divert my attention for the problems of the world like North Korea and my pres's people making a deal with Russia. God you are good. Jason forever!

Trade down time!
Your mouth to God's ears, please!!!!! I'd take that deal.

Adams = The Flash?
I've got a man-crush on him. Really want to see him destroying the Puckers, Queens and Kitties for us for many years. Get him at no. 3.
-
Sorting out the top pick with need
I want him at no.3. You don't win on O, and this guy can tackle. God, I've missed our DBs being able to tackle. He is the real deal.

Mike Adamle
Guys, if you havn't read this please do. These athletes give everything and got the snot knocked out of them. Mike is just one of many stories. Look at Jimmy Mac, Dave D, and God only knows. https://theathletic.com/46430/2017/03/23/in...ughs-and-heart/

Walter Football Mock-We all can like
I'm with you Mongo. I only saw him in the championship game, but he didn't impress me. He's good, but I thought he took plays off and was pushed around in that game. I think we can do better at 3.

Benny Cunningham signed
Yes on McCaffrey in 2nd and no on drafting anyone else at RB. McCaffrey would be a multi-dimensional guy and a solid team contributor IMdO.
-
Gayle Sayers
Sad. He was a special player. I thought he would score every time he touched the ball. My mom had dementia and it is tough to see the person disappear before your eyes.
-
Gale Sayers memorabilia
He was amazing to watch. Thanks for that pic.

Interesting take on Glennon
Oh, Lovie, the QB Guru!!!!!!
-
Narrowing down the #3 pick in the draft
Agree with both of you. At no 3 we need a player that can start now and contribute big time. A QB at 3 scares me in this draft.
-
Narrowing down the #3 pick in the draft
Understand that Pace is not what we've come to expect. If he thinks that the QB of the future is there, he's going to get him at 3. Does not mean Glennon isn't the starter, but I think Pace is putting up the perfect smoke screen to do whatever he pleases. So far, I like it.
-
Great idea foa a backup QB
No one wants Cutler. So sign him to the minimum and have him be the no. 2, after we draft the future, of course. Weird, hey, the Twighlite Zone exits!!!

Off the ledge...
Me too. Great to hear that he takes extra time to be a team player. That's an impt aspect for a guy in his position as a leader.
