  1. Thank God I'm travelling to the USA this summer. Gonna buy , and drink, lots of BOURBON and then dream about Walter, Ed O'B, Gayle, Dick B, Mike, and, of course, George H. Then, after thinking about the founding heritage of our franchise, I am going to buy a 1.75L bottle of Makers Mark and go to sleep. Then start all over.
  2. "Bad luck." You mean he signed with the Bears? COL
  3. Well crap. Hoyer is gone. So IMdO, go with Shaw and a draftee. really, could it be any worse than we have suffered through the last 30 years.
  4. Oh, what the hell. Keep Cutler, pay him the 15mil and let him know that he loses $ with every turnover. And let Long be the enforcer! LOL
  5. Agreed. Bware of Osweiler 2!
  6. I'm with you and I hope Pace lives up to the talk in interviews about taking a long-term view. IMdO, Glennon would be just as bad as the breaking the bank deal for Cutler. There are many smarter ways to go than overpaying Glennon. .
  7. Agreed. Don't want Glennon.
  8. Oh yes. This guy was playing with Lovie the QB killer?! No. Ask Cutler to stay for 12. No,No! Draft a qb after S and CB. D wins games
  9. Right Alaska. Red flags are there to say 'draft with care'. And we've been down that road. Draft someone who is free of any injury. God knows, they are going to get the crap beat out of them in the league. So let's get pick that is ready to go, can contribute from the get go.
  10. Oh God!! If we could get a GOOD Cutler, just imagine.
  11. I agree Alaska. There were good vibs about him before the injury. He knows the system and the coaches, so he's at least a no 3 here.
  12. Screw it, this is the Bears. Let's go D, beat the holy crap out of everyone on our schedule. Just like we did in '85. Get a QB that doesn't give the rock away and the let Howard roll.
  13. Glad you said it Lemon. I think we've wasted enough time, $ and energy on him. There are other fish in the pond that are more resilient and don't get caught for drug enhancement. Get them and let another team learn the hard way about the "great" Alshon.
  14. So spot on Jason. I'm working on a project for positivity training and I really think I should stop reading your posts! They just remind me of the quagmire we've been in like forever.
  15. So who, now, doesn't want their kid to play football? Wow, I wish I had that option.
  16. Well put Lucky. Those poor owners, yeah, right. The players get well compensated, but the owners don't lose a dime in paying them. And it was probably all paid by insurance.
  17. The NFL has tons of QBs that have been at the peak. Brady the best? Hey, that's not gonna be the first question I put to Gabriel (or, more likely, the other guy). For me it's Montana and then Young. I grew up with Unitas, Tarkinton and YATitle. Roger Stauback, Dan Marino, they were all tops. AND I DON"T LIKE the prima donna Brady, so screw him.
  18. I don't like it, but if we can get him for a 2nd rnd pick, sure. I do not want us to give up the 3rd pick for him, we have too many needs for that.

Agreed. And I hate to say it, but Bill B will get into the Hall BECAUSE he can do exactly what you said. His players move elsewhere and they are *%#*#.
  20. Jason, yes, I'm undecided, but I just don't see a great QB available with the no. 3. Let's grab a great DE, S or CB then get a QB in RD 2 or more. With the 3rd pick and this crop, I just don't feel good about QB.
  21. NO ROMO! Mr. injury to replace the injuries we have? PLEASE think about it and for Halas' sake say NO!!!!!!!!!
  22. The future thanks to Pace. Let's do this again this year.
  23. Unfortunately, for the last 30 years many of us have been on suicide watch. God, I gotta tust that Pace is the second coming and that we are on the way to sinking the Puckers and everyone else.
  24. Agreed Mad! Love his attitude and grit on the field.
