I havent seen the tape on Theo from yesterday but respect your opinion. The fact they tried him there tells the story. They are still looking for more consistency from the LT,

Back to football. Clearly the Bears are not happy with the play of our first game. They are trying different players at LT. Theo Benedet took some snaps at LT yesterday. Kiran is healthy now so I expect him to take some snaps there. They are going to play the best player they have to choose from. I think this game will go a long way to who starts the first game of the season. Every rep counts, hopefully someone stands out. I think if no one does, Braxton will be put there .( a 3 yr starter) I dont care who it is as long as he plays well.

I was going to stay out of this and let someone else butt egos with you but since you brought my name up several times, you opened the door. You clearly always have to be right, how many times in our arguments did you throw in my face how right you were with Justin, Flus, so many to mention. I dont know how many times you stated how good you were at watching tape and how stupid I was for having a different opinion. You complain that Mongo got personal with the phycological stuff when you do it all the time with your personal insults. You are right it ok to have different opinions, but just like this argument you expose yourself . You make statements like (If im wrong, so be it) and (Im being super patient and respectful.) (And to the psychological stuff, I think it's enough of that -) You have to always try to control all arguments. I didnt play OL in college or am great at watching tape but have opinions based on what I notice. Every time I posted a former player , a former coach, or a football pundit, you always down played their difference of opinion, by saying ( how great you are at watching tape). Its ok to have difference of opinions but If you dont like it, you have to turn it into a 500 word essay on why you're right. It would be easier to just say I disagree and keep it civil on here.

I think they may have him be the swing tackle and will get snaps at both spots. I don't think Wright has competition. I think they may like Theo Benedet a lot to give him some time at LT. Also Kiran is back on the field.

I dont want Owens either we need to start mixing in some youth for an older S room.

Dont know if this means anything but Ozzy played on the right side today.

Jorden Love is having surgery on his hand torn tendons in the thumb. On his left thumb.

I understand, and agree in both contexts and cant wait for his 500 word essay explaining why you dont understand what he is trying to say. Never read his long replays to answering anything , it is just repeated words he already used. My notation of Adam was just sarcasm on him having both positive and negative on the same subject. I try to fit humor in some of my responses but it doesnt always get noticed as humor.

Everyone has bias. Members on this site always favor the redderick about the Bears. People I may have liked in the draft, I have a tendency to root for, people I didnt like , I tend to look for negative reviews. 5 people can look at a rep and have different opinions about it. You cant argue sacks and penalites but can assign blame to a QB or OL, or bad play call. Nobody likes PFF very much but they just look at every rep, and assign a grade. The bias is in how they grade a rep. On the rep the defender took the inside lane on Braxton, he blew it but the timing of the play got us a TD. You can scheme a bad OL play where it doesnt affect the outcome. So in my outlook, it didnt matter he blew it. On a personal grade for Braxton, worse play of the day for him. IMO, the only person on here that is somewhat lacking bias is Adam, he is critical and praise a player sometimes in the same post.

I dont think (didnt care ) comes into play. Fatigue is the most logical choice. He is fighting to keep his starting job. He wouldnt be on the field if the team thought he didnt care.
-
I havent watched or paid attention to his snaps (Jones) but Mongo did and he said most of his snaps were good , he had two bad plays. I trust his opinion and once I get a chance to watch his plays, I may have a different opinion. Also Ozzy was similar in his review.

Good observations but we should keep in mind, Braxton was going against starters for the first 3 sets and Ozzy played against 2s and 3s. If neither improve, likely they go with Braxton because of his 3 yrs of starting in the NFL. Did you notice if Ozzy was to upright or was he getting down in his set up?

I think until we see the starting OL playing together, we wont get the real picture on the LT spot. If no one shines there, they can give him chip help, scheme to control the damage. I think Thuney playing will help support the position also. If no one steps up, they will play Braxton because of his experience over a rookie. Braxton was playing against the #1 D starters where Ozzy played against the 2s and 3s. It matters where the OL is at in the first real game not the first preseason game, there is still time for someone to step up.

With most of the starters sitting, I didnt expect a lot to cheer for but Monongai, Booker, Wheeler had some good moments. Jones didnt look good but at least he was playing against starters instead of 2nd string. Ozzy needs to improve. The DL did keep the pressure on but we need some better tackling.
