I agree with your comments but Dexter is under contract for next year according to OTC and will be cheap so I dont see him leaving.

I think Wright could come back on a back loaded deal because we are better for cap space in 2027. Someone has to go and money will come into play. I suspect they play with the Cap to work contracts in for 2026 with resigning the most impactful players. I suspect Brisker, and Edmunds may be gone. We have gotten by with cheaper options. Certain contracts just cant be touched until 2027 and it was designed that way for better or for worse. The OL contracts, Jarrett and Dayo . I think as well as Gardner-Johnson has played unless he comes back probably playing SS as a team friendly deal, he wont be back. Byard is a leader and may be a priority so a short team friendly deal may get him to come back. If we have the success it looks like we will have finishing the season, I expect a bunch of complicated contracts will get redone to fit some of the players back in. Edmunds is valuable but we have backups that we can fit in cap space better. I dont pity the work Poles has to do for next year. Swift is another option to get us more cap space and Kmet. I think they redo those contracts to keep them and pay less for 2026. I dont see any big trades or high price FAs coming in because we are up against the Cap. Lots of positions we need to improve but we will draft and count on players getting better. Booker and Turner will be expected to step up next year. I think Dayo plays more inside than outside next year where he has more impact.

Wright is a special player. He has given up some catches but is the big play guy along with Byard on this defense right now. Tearing that ball from Hurts was huge. I am sure Poles is already talking to his agent. When BJ gave him a game ball in the post game, he thanked Poles for bringing him here. Doubt if he leaves the building at the end of the season.

No wiser words have been spoken. Stats are black and white , opinions are always the grey area of conversation.

The things Caleb needs to get better at is all fixable stuff. Just imagine when he hits his stride , we will be scoring 40 points a game.

I watched highlights of the game and Dalman on several snaps handled Jordan Davis one on one. That was amazing. -
They dominated the game overall but at the end of the third quarter the Eagles got back in the game. That is the part I got nervous and everything came together and boom. I am not sure if magic is real but BJ has a magic show flowing and the players keep giving the big play. Wright take away was huge, Kmet TD from Caleb (perfect throw) in a windy day, and then the D kept the Eagles in check. This is a great short video from someone I never heard of before.

Monangai is now 13 yds behind Jeanty. Jeanty was the 6 th pick in the draft and Kyle was pick 233. I think its time to give Poles some kudos for not listening to fans and added Monangai to his Swift to give us the best running team in the league. He added 4 starters to the OL. Poles deserved getting called out for his mistakes but while that was happening, he built a team. The best is yet to come.

Its great listening to non Bears media eat crow. We played a desperate team that was 8-3 and SB champs in their house. We controlled the game and came up big to not let them back in the game. Nashoun Wright is getting a big raise next season. In post game interview he thanked Poles for giving him a chance. He aint going anywhere. 4 yr 23 mil sound good?

This is a Eagles fanbase podcast that is killer for the first 5 minutes its worth a listen. As they said Eagles were lucky the score was that close. Also Olin Kruetz in the postgame show on 670 pronounced this as the best OL in the NFL and its hard to argue with him. Jordon Davis is a monster, Calen Carter is an all pro and were run over time after time. Huge holes for the warhorses S and M . At 73 I dont get drunk very often anymore but lite it up today and now after 7 hours am truly appreciating what we just did. This picture is for the national media

Hard to wrap my head around this, the best team we played all year and we dominated a defense that has 5 or 6 pro bowlers on it. At the end of the third quarter they worked there way back to possibly take the lead and we smacked them back to reality. Pounded the ball and kept Eagles out of the end zone. Caleb not having a good day at the end of the game popped some plays to keep us in the lead. The best is yet to come.

Also the defense is slowly getting bodies back and they played well today. This could be a fairly tale year but I better wait until we beat the Packers. I may be a couple of games away from declaring a SB run. In two weeks both Edwards and Edmunds should be back . Next week Sewell should be back. The best is yet to come.

I love this kind of stuff. I havent been online because I had fan friends over to watch the game. To me, they were in control for the whole game. I expected a last drive deciding the game but they fooled me. The defense was better with Gordon and JJ pulling some snaps. Poles should get a game ball for drafting Monangai, the most important player today. Edwards should be back next week. We played the team with the least amount of TOs in the league and we got two. Going into the season the fanbase was worried about LT , it appears to be okay. Worried about our RB room, we appear to have 2 ballers. People complained about drafting Loveland and Burder, they will be studs next year. I thought we would have a winning record this year based on pure homey faith, but this is actually looking like we might be good too.

When I give an opinion I try to look at it from Poles point of view. The Cap situation will come into play with his moves going forward. If I just went with my desire , I would just say hell yes go get Crosby. The Rams got back into contention by drafting Puka two yrs ago at pick #177 and drafting Verse last year at pick 19. Also added in their last 3 drafts are Kobie Turner, Brandon Friske, They have 8 starters that has been added from their last 3 drafts which is the timeline as they started winning again. The bulk of their improvement has been thur the draft. Garrett would be good but I dont see Cleveland trading him because of a 41 mil dead money hit next year in a trade scenario according to OTC besides what we would have to give up for him. If we end up being in the low 20s area of a draft pick the money for the first year will be 4 to 6 mil his first yr if we go by what the 2025 picks taken in those spots cost. I dont think that cost would save us much money is a draft trade situation.

Everything will matter for us to sneak out a win. Devonte Smith had ankle and rib issues, a few big hits on him could slow him down quite a bit. Gordon and JJ were always good against the run, so I think having them back helps us with the run game also. My biggest prediction is even if we lose, it will be a competitive game down to the wire. We are use to that. The Eagles have been fading late in games, SB hangover and wear and tear, I think so.

If we lose this week and beat GB next week , we will be back in the lead with maybe tying Lions if they win next week. The most important games on our schedule are the Lions and both GB games. Lets say we lose the other 3 opponents and win the division games 10-7. Lions has to face Cowboys , Rams and us again, so we have control over the division.

Anytime we project what might happen, that is always just our opinion. Im not sure why some people make like my opinion is different from everyone else. We are pass the trade deadline so obviously that wont happen this year. When teams trade for players it is usually for draft picks. To fit a big contract in our cap space we will have to get rid of more than one asset. Crosby's cap hit would be 27.5 mil in a trade next year. To add him we would have to trade (likely candidates ) DJ Moore which would cost of 38 mil in dead money this year, Edmunds or Kmet are reasonable choices but would have to be both (6 mil) in dead cap that wouldnt get us close to the cost of Crosby. Sometime the numbers just dont work out. None of the free agents available next year have over 4 sacks at this point in time and they will be seeking big money. Henrickson is the biggest FA edge and he will want over 30 mil, everyone else is old and may be an option but you will have to pay at least 10 mil plus . Mack-Bosa-Floyd . This is possible but still have to try to fit in effective cap of -12.5 mil. We are going to have to redo contracts to just fit the rookie money and resign some players (CJ G-Johnson , Dushon Wright) in our cap. As much as I agree we will need more pass rush help, we are destined to have to draft one and hope players like Dayo , Booker, and Shemar Trurner can provide that help. Like Mongo said maybe trading a Kmet or Edmunds and our pick to move up 10 spots to grab one is our only option. Teams that are rebuilding usually want draft picks.
