I'm going back to pushing the ignore button with you. You're always Mr Innocent, you never do anything wrong. If you honestly want to stop this go push the ignore button in me and it's over. What ever you say going forward I'm not going to see so tell everyone how bad I am and how Innocent you are but please push the ignore button.

The only time I have engaged with you in the last month is when you said I posted false information. If you don't respond to my posts, I won't respond to yours. Stop playing Mr Innocent. (Just for everyone reading, those numbers arent true. If we Trade DJ, we open up $16.5M, and if the trade is a post June 1st trade, then it opens up $24.5M in space.)

Every season is a new range of rankings . KC, Baltimore, Washington, Detroit, take your pick on the one people thought were going on a SB run.

You might very well have found the solution, Poles trades up for a stud. Our first, third, JJ or Edmunds?

There are very few of those players in the league. Cleveland and Vegas are fighting for the worst record in spite of those two players. Parsons never got Dallas to a championship run and now in GB gets injured. GB threw a bunch of assets for Parsons and is hurt. That's the chance you take with so much reliance on one player. A few more injuries and lose 3 in a row. Hendeichson has been good for 4 yrs, nothing to show for it in Cincinnati. My point is a great pass rusher doesn't get you to the promise land regularly. We have the Coach and the QB now they just need to add to the recipe. Let's not make the same mistake that GB did. IMO

Poles promised us that we would take the North and he delivers in yr 4 if his 5 yr rebuild. It was an overwhelming situation when he got here The Cap was upside down, lots of old over paid players and a bad culture from bad coaches. He found the right QB, found the right coach and slowly built a team although IMO, an odd way but we are on the verge of a possible SB run. Lots of bad decisions along the way but still got us here.

(I like this board, I prefer not to debate with Stinger)

I find this conversation similar to the preseason conversation that we needed another RB because Swift wasn't a #1 and we had no idea what Monangai would do. For me, I need to just trust what BJ and Poles decides will turn out. Also it appears we have the LT if the future which was a topic of conversation. Injuries has hurt our defense all year and we are still 11-4. I think they figure it out after the season is over.

Poles set it up that way to have contracts run out when Caleb gets paid. The problem with bringing in one of those two would be their money won't be leaving where as those 3 will be gone, freeing up money for Caleb. I get the love for those two but don't think the loss of good players and valuable first round picks would be worth it. Just my opinion, it's okay to have your thoughts because neither matter, it's what Poles decides to do .

Hendrickson just costs money as a FA, to get the other 2 lots of assets have to leave. I vote for not weaking the team, sign a free agent.

We are use to always taking about next year because we were losers but this year is different. Our floor is make the playoffs and lose our first game. That will still be a successful season but what if our ceiling is the SB and we actually will have a whole different outlook on future asset and acquisitions. I suspect the conversation will be who can try and bring back . Clearly our DL will still need some upgrades but think it will be with draft picks and not getting rid of players in trades.

Poles shot his load last year for the next two years of Cap space. The OL cost hit a home run but the Jarrett and Dayo money is a bust this year. Jarrett and Dayo don't have outs on their contracts until 27 so they are here next year. Booker is getting better and Turner will be healthy. Sweat isn't a top 10 Edge but is still a double digit sacker. 1/2 sack short this year with 2 games left. Poles is not discarding this group but will add to it in the draft and maybe by FA or trade. I think he will play with money and bring in a FA instead of all the trade proposals on here. I think with Caleb progressing next year we have a highest scoring team in the league potential and will not deal any offensive assets. Just my opinion.

I took off the ignore button because it's been peaceful and thought we could just give our opinions and not have you calling me having a different opinion as being aggressive and ( don't like my tone) but of course you will never change. I responded to a A Bear post and you jump right jump in and say that's false information. In any trade scenario you have dead money to go with cap saving. I just tried to make that point. If you don't want to deal with me stopping taking about me when you post and we can get along just fine. Let's get to the conversation instead of your attempt to argue. I hope we bring in someone to but I don't think Poles is trading away many assets and first round picks for a Garrett or Crosby. I think he redoes contracts and maybe get rid of Edmunds cap number and brings in Hendeichson. Costs us no assets. I'm not sure who else is out there.
-
I did, you are using everything post June numbers. The difference between us is I think trades will happen around the draft, you are using everything Post June. You can not designate trades after June if you do earlier like cuts.
-
Unless Cincinnati puts a tag on Hendrickson, he's a free agent next year. Cleveland and Vegas are in rebuild mode which means they could trade them players but more likely for draft picks. Not sure why they would trade for high priced assets when it's at least 2 years before they will be good again.
-
I am using OTC cap information . Do you have other sources to verify your stats? If there are any trades they will probably happen around draft time not post June.
-
That all sounds good. Find me 3 teams that will want to trade for JJ, DJ and Kmet. You can cut Edmunds and resign D Jackson that will have a probably 5 mil cost in 26. You have dead money of 34 mil you have to account for for 26 alone if all those transactions happen. From Poles outlook, do you think he thinks losing DJ, Kmet, JJ and Edmunds, and at least 2 first round draft picks is worth signing Crosby? I think he will try sign a Hendrickson as a better option than that complicated scenario. Crosby only has a 1/2 sack more than Sweat does right now this year. Booker is a potential young Maxx Crosby being the same size with a no stop motor. I do think they try to add a pass rusher but not sure it's with the cost of 6 assets.
-
I don't disagree with anything you said but I don't think the bears will do that. DJ will have a 12 million Dead Cap hit next year and 8 mil in 27 if traded. So the Cap relief isn't as great as it looks on paper. I would love to get one of those guys but the cost will be to great. Poles will figure something out but doubt if it's Crosby or Garrett.
