I know he has inconsistent coverage but so many of his plays have been so clutch it has to stick out to whoever is watching. Watch any CB other than Pat Surtain, They all have bad plays.
This seems like an impossible achievement to beat SF peaking at this time of the year but I just watched impossible.
Offensively we have to control the clock, run well and stop the penalties. That puts us in a spot to win. We did it in Philly and we can do it here. Their defense gives up a lot of points and both offenses are scoring 26 points a game.
Have to give Poles a lot of credit for the good dudes he has brought in here. DJ, Caleb, Walker, Swift, Monangai, Rome, Loveland, the OL. Find me a ME guy on the team? There isn't one.
I think Dayo will play inside more next year where he is more effective. We ain't getting rid of him so hope he responds. With our Cap definitely we will rely on the draft to get better. Booker is starting to get a better game now.
I would hope both get to a 1000 yards. Swift will end up having around 1100 and Monangai 850. I think they probably play with an extension for Swift to lower his cap money next year. With a SB run next year, they both we ve here.
Christmas came early for bear's fans, I totally thought we lost that game , down 10 with 2:30 left in the game.
Make no mistake, these next 2 games will not be easy but we could win both. Seattle doesn't have an easy schedule.
What's amazing is we did this with Caleb not at the height of his game. Wait until he gets consistent. This is a 40 point a game team. The modern NFL is about offense and we have arrived.
Next year:
Caleb - Bagent
Swift -Monongai- Brown - rookie
DJ- Rome-Burden-Walker-rookie
Loveland - Kmet
If the Bears trade any players it will on the defensive side of the ball. They're building a killer offense, what would they subtract?
This is the reason they kept Santos instead of changing to Moody. We have gotten two onside kicks this year and the bad weather games. Without him, we don't win this game.
