With the way Brisker played after a healthy year played his best game as a pro in the most important game , I think they will strongly consider bringing both Ss back. It comes down to money.
-
You're spot on, the big key is LT options. I doubt they draft one in the first. Clearly Braxton gone, how long will Ozzy be gone and can Kiran compete with Theo until Ozzy is back? We have plenty of time to project.

Agree, we had the chance to win this game. A few drops, bad officiating, BJ had some bad decisions, Caleb played well but has some bad decisions. Great season. The good things, the defense came to play, we need to bring Brisker back, they will regroup and learn from their mistakes. Another good draft, resign some players, get help on the DL, come out dominating next year with Caleb another year better. For the first year of BJ, we are now super bowl contenders next year. Could have been in the NFC championship game. -

Wow, never saw that, that leads me to say, Caleb is a very durable QB over the last two years. Especially last year with given up all those sacks. -
I understand your sentiment but it hasn't affected the legacy of other NFL teams and several fall in that group. Living in Illinois our government has major issues on how they spend money. I think just wanting infrastructure upgrades for teams is just normal operating procedure. Chicago and the state don't deserve this team at this time. I'm going to be a bear's fan if they moved to Alaska. At 73 I don't go to live games anymore during cold weather and would expect Indiana to do a better job creating around a new stadium. Have been to Indiana for several concerts and Indy, always a good experience. You still have the lake Michigan effect in NWI. Can't be any worse going to NWI than going to a White Sox game.

Glad the health of your wife is all good news. I can't bet against the bears especially this year but to many national people are picking the bears. That always bothers me. A couple of national media that I like picking the bears, Brandt and Rollins. -

If our OL plays well, we win the game. That means we run the ball well and Caleb had time to go down field where a weak Rams DBs live. 33-27 -
Never seen that as before but when I had season tickets they used to have a shuttle from the bus station just south of WoodField.

Everything is off the table going into 2027 but for next year, if they keep this offense intact, we could be a scoring machine. Next year is Caleb's breakout year 4500 yards, 40 TD passes, 67% . Why would they mess with that? With a bad defense, we literally could go to the SB with our offense

This is well done, anyone know the artist? -
I think he is a consistent playmaker that they value in this offense. They will restructure DJ and Kmet plus a couple OL to get money to help the defense.

Agree with all of that -
That's all on the table and we honestly don't know who they value the most. ( I ) don't think the bears are going to mess with the offense. I could be wrong, it's not that I don't understand what you're saying, I just think they will address the problem in a different way. The offense has put us into the position to go to the SB with a bad defense. Reality is Parsons didn't get GB in this game ( if we traded and put our assets into one player, he could be hurt too) . Crosby and Garrett are not in the playoffs. Some fans think one player will put over the top. I don't think the bears think that. We are all just projecting here, I'm a fan whether they do or don't. It's just a guess.

I listened to Ross Tucker on the Score and he brought up a lot of points about us possibly winning the game. A home game, bad weather that will make the Rams uncomfortable, they have bad STs. They have played bad the last part of the season. Just pulled out the playoff game in Carolina with a great coach and great QB. Also said belief is a strong tonic to win in games of which BJ has given us. The emotional high we were on last week could continue to this game giving us a quick start. He also said sometime with that energy, it could have us come out flat to start. As soon as I see it pop up on YouTube, I'll share it. -

A strong running game and quick passes will slow down any pass rush. -
Just my opinion but I think they keep most of the assets on the offensive side of the. Like you said a key injury to a couple weapons and we're pulling people off the street which won't be good for continuity for a leading offense in the league next year. Look at the mess in KC, they still have a great QB and great coach but their WRs OL was missing people. Didn't finish well. Depth is important. The defense is a big mess but with injured players coming back and people like Booker getting better, they may not see that a big deal may have to high of a price and add 3 or 4 pieces in the draft. I think they figure it out without Garrett or Crosby. It won't be the first time I'm been wrong on my guesses before. It will be an interesting off-season especially if we get farther in the playoffs.

I think the cheesheads are ridiculous looking. Not sure but I think the cheese graters lowers us to their level. Now the players wearing them is just a slap in the face to their players but if it's a popular fans thing, it's going to put us in the same corny Packers fans category. Just my opinion.

It will be interesting to see what the bears choose to do.

Defense needs a few TOs and tackle well, we will win with our offense. Coleman Shelton is their center. Ranked 13 th out of 40. 36th in pass blocking grade "7th run blocking. Has only given up 1 sack , can't find his pressures numbers but I would think high. He should be our focus for attacking the QB. Stafford isn't very mobile but he gets the ball out quick. We need to take those routes away -
We differ in what we think the bears will do. I predict they restructure both contracts and keep them one more year because just as the offense is starting to look great, they won't want to take a step back. Of course I might be wrong but until something happens it's just speculation anyways.

I'm not sure you can build a great defense and offense at the same time because of the assets to either side of the ball. The great offense usually beats good defenses. Houston will show us in real time with their defense and how far they can go.
