As much I understand the greed part of the human experience, you would have to have a whole ref crew in on it. If the penalty on Theo took points off the board, that meant the cartel had the points with Washington. If that was the case, they lose the bet. One individual ref can affect several plays and still not change the natural outcome of the game. A whole crew is different and odds of that are slim. That would also have to include the review office of the NFL that can overturn any challenged play. I love conspiracy theories but this one doesn't resonate with common sense. Some events like the Black Sox scandal from 1917 just doesnt happen anymore. Everyone was in on it and one guy didnt go thru with it and it was exposed. Someone may have more knowledge than me but it one ref was paid to help get a different result and it doesnt happen, money lost, and I would suspect the gamblers would be very upset with that. Since they are gamblers, they would already know the odds. It would almost be impossible to get what result you want unless the whole crew was involved and then the review office of the NFL would have to be in on it.

I dont think there is any reinforcements coming this year. For us to be better , our own players playing better and the younger ones develop. Being we are on a 3 game winning streak and potential to win the next 5 games , I would say the problems are getting fixed from within. We have two talented TEs that BJ said himself he needs to schemed more.

I would say also he knows the team very well having been in NO for several years. -
I agree, other than one bad game, he just isnt getting the targets. Caleb seems to favor Odunze when under pressure where many times either TE is open. Like you said they are still growing the offense. Before LaPorta got there, because of injuries the TE position wasnt effected, hence they traded Hockenson. Hockenson missed 15 games due to injuries' his last two years in Detroit. He had two yrs left on his contract of which probably would have been given in his 4th year. They choose to draft a new TE than resign Hock so they traded him. If they are not going to incorporate the TE more into the offense then I think we could see Kmet being traded next year or redoing his contract. He is a team captain so the team values him. Because they are still inventing the offense, I dont see them making that decision this year.

There are no easy wins in the NFL, anyone can beat anyone. As long as this team stays focused we should have a good run the next 5 games. Should not lose at home. period -
D J. Moore spent the night in the hospital in Washington last night. After the game he left the stadium in a ambulance. Haven't heard about the injury but he went back in the game after being injured. He's a baller and not someone you want to get rid of by trade. He's a valuable member of the offense. He runs the ball, catches the ball and blocks. He's still our best offensive weapon.

We seem to be getting some breaks that usually buried us before. Still penalties are killing us but the officiating crew gives the most flags in football and many of those flags were bogus. The OL played well against a good DL and the running game looked a lot better. Swift is a capable RB and Monangai showed some support. We played better on the D in stopping the run. Washington was the best running team in the league. We outrushed them. It seemed like us coming out of the bye , we had more energy and physicality. Our next 6 games are all winnable. So we still have time to get better going forward. I think Edwards and Gordon will play better the more snaps they get. This was the first time on the field for several weeks. Nashoun Wright made the play of the game but he has a lot of penalties and gets beat a lot. I wish they would give Jalyon Jones a shot. He had good snaps over the last few years. Having won 3 games in a row we are starting to get some confidence that we can win a game even being down. Its still has a lot of growing to do under BJ but the arrow is pointed up right now. The last two games were on the road which is huge wins.

I saw Kid Rock at Stugis in 2024 for the first time, very entertaining. Definitely will watch the alternative choice. Because of baseball talk, I have been listening to more music lately and heard Creed several times, now I know why. I only saw them once but seen Alter Bridge with Mark Tremonti many times. Those are the music choices I prefer.

I think we have a good group of coaches and will address some problems we have and make it better. Not sure we can become a demon defense against the run but at least get us to a level of average. It appears that we will have everyone back but Grady Jarrett. Not referring to the players on season ending injuries. Adjustments and health should give us a boost. We have a new LT. BJ has a better effort from everyone and Jones didnt get better. Blame in the injury it doesnt matter it wasnt good enough. Beno now gets his shot. I dont think they think he will be a world beater but at least have the chance to grow and be better every week. He had some bad moments against Crosby but also some good ones and that's what they are banking on with Theo. As last year's Washington game was the blow up moment for that team, I think the block FG will be that moment for this year's team. I think all of the games are going to come down to the last five minutes of a game this year and we now have confidence and a QB that excels in that moment. It should get us a winning season.

As I see the point of the NFL trying to expand their base, that does not mean I agree with it. I think in any marketing decision, you should always pick what the majority likes. As you see their seems to be a focus on the halftime show when it should always be about the game. The NFL has made bad choices in the past and dont expect that to stop.

That makes sense, they have the old folk they are trying to get the younger people to pay attention. It doesnt make who is playing the halftime show, I will only watch artists I like anyway.

Good post. This is the critical year that lifts Poles or buries him. If we end up with a winning record it changes the course of his legacy. He has plenty of misses on his record, but he has some hits to. He will be remembered for hiring BJ and drafting Caleb, not all the third round misses. He came in here with a big job, we were in cap hell and lots of old players with heavy contracts. He changed the cap situation immediately by getting rid of older players that made us a bad team and didnt have a first round pick Inherited Justin Fields. With Fields career going in the wrong direction, we had two terrible yrs, as expected by the previous roster construction. He came in here saying it would take 5 yrs to turn this around, we are in yr 4. 2022 draft gave us Brisker , Gordon, a 3 yr starter at LT in a 5th round pick Braxton Jones, and a 7th round pick in a good backup Elijah Hicks. Dom Robinson is still hear but will be judged by this year's progress. This is yr 4 of that draft and the proper time( IMO) to judge his draft. C seems fair when you count he didnt have a first round pick. You cant expect injuries as far as any of these draft picks. He also added as UDFA Jack Sanborn and Jaylon Jones that ended up plus players. Im not going to go thru all of his drafts but overall going into this yr, I give him a C- but that grade could change if we end up having a winning season . Something I find questionable is people throwing out who we could have drafted that flourished after our drafted players. You can take any GM in the league and do that to make them look bad. Maybe the Ravens would be the only team that is on a plus side of that debate. Recently the Lions have been doing well also. I give him credit for fixing the cap-the big trade that gave us several blue players-hiring BJ-drafting Caleb . This is the year to determine his proper grade his 4th yr in his rebuild and will wait to make a final grade. The only thing that matters is if we become a winning team and as A Bear said, this yr has a long way to go to determine his legacy.

My all time favorite group. With them its about the music. It's hard to imagine they started their elaborate stage show back in the early 70's. Seen them at Camp Randall Stadium in 1996.

I hit the ignore button, so I dont see any of his responses anymore. Clearly he went out of his way to raise the heat for just having a different opinion.. When someone tells you they dont like the way you word a comment or complains about my grammar, its way deeper than just disagreeing with a opinion. It was so peaceful when he gave the finger to the site and left then two weeks later comes back and then the same old crap. Life is hard enough and a lot harder when you're behavior is stupid. -
The biggest demographic of NFL supports would be similar to our age group. How many young people are on here? I would say more of a 35's on up? I Have never heard of Bad Bunny and I travel a lot overseas. I dont think its political who they put on the half times shows, I think the NFL is trying to expand its market and would pick someone like this for that reason. Classic type performers that transcend all age groups would attract the most viewers for the half time show but people will turn off it if they dont know the performers. JayZ has a partnership with the NFL since 2019 and sets up the entertainment. I watched Sharika and Rihanna but could care less about the others. Some of the most watched are the recent ones but the popularity of the NFL brings record numbers. K. Lamar set the record with 133 mil viewers but to compare the difference Michael Jackson had 133 mil back in 1993. My favorite: Whitney Houston, Prince and U2. Back in the day I preferred Tom Petty-Kid Rock-Rolling Stones-The Who. I go to a lot of concerts and would have loved to have seen Pink Floyd play a SB, it would have been hard to set their show up in real time because its massive. Was lucky enough to have seen them once. Super Bowl LVII (2023): Rihanna. Super Bowl LVI (2022): Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige. Super Bowl LV (2021): The Weeknd. Super Bowl LIII (2020): Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, and J Balvin. Super Bowl LII (2019): Maroon 5, with guests Travis Scott and Big Boi. Super Bowl LVIII (2024): Usher, with guests Alicia Keys, Jermaine Dupri, H.E.R., will.i.am, Lil Jon, and Ludacris

Here's a video that shows Monangai and explains a few carries that affects his overall stats. He had one where they blitz and caught him in the backfield that cost him a 7 yard loss and a 11 run that was called back with a holding call (questionable) that didnt get into his stats.

I would love to have all three but with Crosby being paid 106 mil over the next 3 yrs, and Simmons-75 mil those seem out of reach plus the players or picks it would cost. Hall is in his last yr of his contract but Allen is our for most of the season, so Isaiah Davis is the only other RB besides Hall. He has never been over 1000 yds in his first 3 yrs. He is better than Swift but are they ready to cash the season in after 5 games? They have a first yr coach, not sure he is ready to give up yet. He was in Detroit when they went 1-6 and finish 9-8. Hall and Swift would be a good duo but I dont think Jets are ready to dumb players. They have 13 on the injury list with several ready to come back. I think decisions will be made at the trading deadline on Nov 4th, so they get a better read of how the season goes. After going 2-2, and players coming off injury, I think the Bears will see how the next 4 games go before they make changes.
