  1. Penalties by the young guys keep killing us. The Ravens DL is out playing us at the line of scrimmage. We need to make adjustments.,
  2. Its nice we're moving the ball, but yet again FGs. We need to change that to be a true playoff contender. I seen them show a stat that Caleb holds the ball the longest in the NFL. I wish that improve. Also, accuracy is off, again.
  3. I just noticed their defense only have 8 sacks on the year and we have 12. They only have 3 TOs and we have 16. I dont think this game will be as close as everyone expects. Ravens defense is awful.
  4. So who gets game balls this week? I think Loveland has a breakout game and Brisker for his contributions to stopping the run. Caleb for going over 300 yds and 3 TDs, no TOs.
  5. This game is really hard to call. Baltimore has more urgency and is at home. No Lamar is huge but the effort and physically will be there. So can we out physical the Ravens? If we run the ball and can limit Henry we will win the game. As we have seen most games this year seem to go down to the wire and I think this will to. 28-23 Bears.
  6. Statement was made before he got put on IR. Do you think this is Braxton giving the finger to the Bears for benching him? I dont remember any injuries mentioned when Theo got put at LT. The one thing I think this coaching is doing that wasnt here before is developing players. Theo, Dom Robinson, Sewell, DuShon Wright all seem to be contributing.
  7. Benedet handles the bull rush better than Jones did what I expect is because he is stronger. He got walked back several times but if Caleb got rid of the ball quicker it never matters. He went from a UDFA to starter so I think he is growing into the position as he gains more experience. There was only one sack in that game so the general pressure is getting better. Someone has to play LT and of our choices they think Theo has the most potential. OLs always look better once their QBs make quicker decisions, throw to their dump down targets, and show more accuracy in the short throwing game. Our growth in the passing game is focused on Caleb getting better. Does anyone else notice Caleb gets a lot of passes knocked down at the line? Is that a vision problem, or timing problem? That is the only think about his growth that bothers me. The rest are all fixable.
  8. Braxton Jones is the most likely to be traded with LT starting experience . They have clearly moved on but if they still have doubts with Theo, they may keep him for depth. Probably a 4th or 5th round pick. Is that worth losing valuable depth? I doubt they trade anyone.
  9. He is not playing , I watched several Doctors comment on his injury and said it was to early to come back. Full practice but run the Scout team tells you everything you need to know. With Hundley being the QB that helps us with aninjury plagued DB room. Henry is what we have to stop to win the game. Its the power run game up the middle that matters. He is not as effect if he has to go laterally to find a hole. Our LBs, and Ss are intact so we have a shot at limiting him to under a hundred yards by plugging every middle lanes. Effective tackling is important. The passes will be all in the front zone with the short passing game.
  10. Lamar Jackson has a limited practice designation. I would say with a short week Thursday game against their division rivals Miami, he doesnt play on Sunday. I dont think they think they need him to beat us . I could be wrong. The key in this game is stopping Derrick Henry.
  11. He not only is playing well, but is a team leader. On X I remember people saying after the first few games that he has slowed down because of his age. I'm not sure they say that now. When you judge a player in a short window, you can't properly measure a players worth. Look at the RB position tons of people on X, (we need another RB). That narrative changes now. We have to let this season play out and see the results. If we finish 5-6 we still end up with a winning record. I would say 11 wins are our ceiling. Can we go 7-4 the rest of the year? We will find out Sunday.
  12. I hope Fields finds a place that use him right whether a starter or backup. I just wish him well, he's not here anymore so actually dont think about him . Caleb is the guy I rout for now. He needs to make better decisions with the ball, get rid of the ball sooner and be more accurate. I think BJ will get him where he needs to go. These hopes are not any different from the same things people complained about when Fields was here. The trait I see different with Caleb is what he has shown at the end of games. He gets us in a position to win even under the worst of odds. Not every QB in the league can do that. He needs to clean up the rest of his game. BJ came here because of Caleb and I trust him to get Caleb there.
  13. Easy to look at people to move but a lot harder to do. I dont think there will be a big contract coming back if we do trade for somebody. That will just create next year cap chaos. Crosby will be paid 120 mil from 2026-29. Any contract they take on will end before we have to pay Caleb. Simmons 53 mil over the next two yrs. I think they may add a CB to help but not a big contract. I think , like the RB room, they will expect players to play better on the DL and stick pat with money. Poles set the team contracts to be done when Caleb expects to get paid in 2028. Then they will play with the rest of the roster.
  14. Jesse Morse, MD evaluates every NFL injure every week. He said today will determine if Lamar plays this week. If he is not a full practice, he thinks they wont play him until a Thursday night game for week 9. If he does play , he will not be 100% and usually a players first game coming off an injury is below par.
  15. I think every team can find those plays. We definitely seem to have more. Maybe being a winning team will grant us some less obvious calls.
  16. I think that the season's success will determine who stays and who goes. Besides cutting players there could be restructuring of their contracts. Of course trades could come into play. I think after the season ends teams look for the draft to fill holes before they decide to trade for high price players. I also think to fill needs we will also address them in the draft. Everyone was worried about the RB room and the team stuck with their players and the problem seems to have went away. If we go 5-6 with the rest of the schedule , we end up with a winning record.(9-8). Most people on here seen that as the ceiling. I think we do a lot better than that. Does Minny look unbeatable? Anything you seen from GB telling you we arent capable of beating them. I think this team is a work in progress and we will fill some needs by our roster. We look at this team from our past problems but with BJ in the room, it is different. Can Theo become the LT? He is improving and I dont think the team is deciding at this moment in time, we need to draft a LT. They're not thinking about trading assets when we are on a 4 game winning streak. The team will be evaluated at the end of the year, not after 6 games. I see Edmunds being the most obvious cut or trade but if he keeps making plays, do you think Dennis Allen is going to say its okay to get rid of him? Zaccheaus is on a one year contract and plays the same position that Burden plays. Getting rid of Moore doesnt seem like a logical step to me. Bengals have Chase and still kept Higgins around. Jarrett is obvious but his contract has guarantees that prohibit that. Kmet will be asked to restructure since his value has lessened .before they just cut him. Someone will have to go because of our cap situation now but I think it is not decided yet. We are on the verge of becoming a playoff contender, I think we need to enjoy this season before we tear it down because of future issues.
  17. I heard a interesting stat this morning. We lead the league in explosive plays with 48. Over 10 yds rushing and 20 yds passing. This offense is probably around 60% of what it is going to be. The OL is starting to jell, the weapons are plentiful and a QB that still has room to grow. We are the only team in the league that has scored over 21 points in every game. I think the key to anything we do is Caleb getting better but since the OL appears to be fixed, the running game is solid and DL is starting to get some pressure, Theo is more consistent that Braxton was but still needs to grow. Jackson worried me in the beginning but is starting to show his stuff. I think the one position we may trade for will be a DB. DuShon Wright has shown some signs of making big plays but he makes a lot of mistakes also. 2 of our top 4 DBs are out for the year in JJ and T. Smith. I think Stevenson is stepping up but we need one more consistent players in our DB group. Gordon is getting his legs under him and starting to show why he is a blue player. If we added an upgrade at any group it would be welcomed but I think we see why they have not added a RB. All 3 of our top RBs are showing signs of life. We dont have a dominate DE but with Booker coming back soon, I think they run with what we got. Grady is still injury and if he gets healthy, that will help.
  18. Whine is what some people did while Fields was here. I wanted him to play better but he never got there. I wished him well and Fields haters like you jump to look at conversations from a couple years ago so you tell everyone how smart you are . I never said he ever was going to be a top 10 QB. I like the way if you support a player and hope he gets better it's a bad thing. I wasnt the only one on here that wished him well. Caleb hasnt set the world on fire with one of the best offensive minds in the league but I support him and expect him to get better. Now if he fails, you'll come back and complain how dumb I was for supporting him a couple yrs from now. Some people just like to be a little bitch because that is their nature. You havent made a post since May 26 until now and this is the subject you wish to comment on. That says everything about you. Once a d*** always a d***
  19. With Roquan coming back to practice, it still may be a couple of weeks for him to rev up to 100%. Playing the Bears he will push to play. Best way to handle Roquan is run right at him.
  20. Clearly BJ is fixing problems on the run. He got the running game going and playing a lot better against the run. He will work into the offense the TEs. Its a work in progress , we are just the tip of the iceberg. If Caleb becomes more consistent it adds to the number of O plays a game and that adds more options for other weapons to the get touches.
  21. He hasnt all of a sudden turned into Barkley or Robinson. He is an above average NFL back that has a OL that is jelling. BJ and Beiniemy has lit a fire under him and he is productive. With the threat of a good passing game, the other teams arent loading the box to stop the run. Now if Monangai takes off, we have the two back game DJ is looking for. Caleb gets his act together and we have the offense BJ wants to see. We are scoring over 21 points in every game. I cant wait to see where that goes once the offense goes into cruise mode. Every game takes on its own script. Balt is dangerous because they are 1-5, had the bye week and getting some injured players back. I expect it to be a close game and we have a chance to win, but this is a must win for the Ravens . That may be the edge they need. IF we stay physical and can run the ball, we will stay in every game from here out.
  22. Exactly with quicker recognition and accuracy. Better decision making would help to . Several of those throwaways he could have run. These are the same issues Fields had, but Caleb have shown to be better than that. What bothered me was he was always good at throwing on the run, and Im not sure he hit one of those passes. I am the thumbs up guy so Im all in but this year will determine his being great or being average. The rest of the year will tell the story.
