Week 9 Official Game Thread - CHI @ CIN, Nov 2nd, 12PM CST, CBS, CHI -1.5

Man he had the first down in his sights. -
There was two examples mentioned to me but you really want me to continue this conversation? I remember one was he said (you two) in a message to Mongo. Mongo and me are the only two that has had conflicts with him even thou other have our same opinion. Mongo and me have the same opinion with Caleb but we dont always see eye to eye. I was just explaining why I said something. The best way to let this settle is to stop talking about it. We dont like each other and I have the ignore button pushed. Suggest to him to push the ignore button on me and you will never see any conflicts.

Other than an outlet receiver when need to have our routes pass the first down markers. Are the WRs running them to shallow? -

He's going to have to miss a few FGs before they change to Moody but I would prefer that to happen. -

We seem to have a rhythm to the offense today. If you listen to the announcers, they are spot on with their comments on Caleb. He has been making decisions better and a few negative. The key is keep running and let the passing game find itself. -

They have went all in on Caleb, they will evaluate him at the end of the year but his progress will go along way on what BJ thinks he future will be. Until the penalties get limited its hard to judge the offense or Caleb. I heard a podcast where they were talking about Caleb having an uneven play calling that was causing some of the presnap penalties. They sighted that because it was several players doing it and not just Theo. Does anyone else think that? I havent notice an irregularity? We have had a lot of injuries and to many penalties that has contributed to the win loss record. BJ just needs to keep pushing for perfection to get the best out of the roster we have. The judgments come at the end of the year on Caleb and the rest of the roster. I keep seeing a bunch of trade options pundits are putting out there. Are we really going to trade for someone without knowing if we can challenge for a playoff stop at 4-3 ? Had we won last week, I think the situation would be different, but our future drafts are where we are going to boost weaknesses and trades right now would limit that. Now getting an addition like Johnson is what I see us doing, he has talent but have to check his problem child attitude at the door. Can he do that? We will see. -
I pushed an (ignore button) to stop the arguing and I assumed he did the same to me. Then someone told me he has mentioned me a few times. So he apparently still sees my responses. I just wanted to reminded him, I am not reacting to his opinions because I concede to them. Its an ego thing, my opinions are limited and he still gets to say whatever he wants.

I suspect Monangai gets (20) carries, DJ (6) . Caleb (5). and Homer the rest. I also think this is a breakout game for Loveland. Bengals have a terrible run defense so you will see us exploit that and Caleb throwing out of play action a lot. They dont get to the QB a lot with only 11 sacks. Henderson is not playing ahd he had 4 sacks. This will resemble the Dallas game a lot. 31-23. Bears. -
Of course you're right. People have different opinions and that should never be taken to a place of chaos. The Caleb saga will show the direction it's going by the end of the year. That is the proper time to have a fair conversation ,not after each game whether he has a good or bad game.

So many players have upside when their young and some play well their first yr, (Daniels), their second yr (Mayes) and some take longer. I think it takes 3 yrs to find the level of a player. The tape doesnt lie, Caleb isnt there yet and I think its mostly a mental thing with him. The problem that is the part of the game that will end up making him great or a draft another QB moment. I root for him just like I did Mitch and Justin. Ever since I blocked PHX it has been very peaceful not seeing his responses anymore and Im sure he's back to writing his little novels on his opinion about Caleb. Im sure some where along the way he has found something negative to say about me . Someone needed to be the adult in the room and bail from that chaos created between us. It's nice to know you wont let him get away with his ( I'm smarter than you) attitude when all it is a difference of opinions.

What I find interesting is these are the same people that liked Fields during his tender here. People I posted that said positive things about Justin's game. I value their opinion because , like me, I look at the positives of a player.

I never read anything from Jimmy Mac anymore but he is not wrong on what he pointed out as flaws. The awareness of the reality of the moment late in games doesn't have anything to do with his great arm and throwing ability. These are the decision making traits that will make him great or a first player taken bust. Its to early in his development to quit on or praise as a great QB. We just have to let this year play out.
