He is very physical and athletic. I remember Carimi as a finesse guy. Could be wrong.

They took risk at LT with getting rid of Leno, they needed the cap space. They list Wilkinson as the backup. but I have read that Barr with get reps there. He has the body to play the LT spot. I think they will use Barr as a multi position backup. They have 3 that can play LT if Jenkins gets injuries but clearly he is given the spot. Leno was there for a long time but has been mediocre. The risk of a high end draftee will make some mistakes but how far away would that be from what we would have gotten from Leno? We simply dont know but I think the change will show results going forward. We needed improvement, if you always stay the norm, you will always get the same results. We are taking risk because of the upside.
  3. He's back but they don't like each other, he's not going to sit out and packers weren't going to trade him. With bad juju in the room, I can see some bumps in the road ahead.
  4. I think cut a deal, he plays this yr and moved some money to a bonus for him and won't tag him next yr and he gets his release.
  5. They are upgrading from the bottom up and that is huge for the TE position. Always seems to be a lot of injuries to TEs for some reason.
  6. I remember games where Robinson had to line in up in formations. He was very athletic, but didn't have his head on straight. Consistency was his problem.
  7. As much as I suspect Fields will succeed his first year, there is a history of a few of the many who were drafted that succeeded quickly. I hope we have the Justin Herbert of this year. Mond will have a hard time knocking Cousins out of the top spot. Cousins stats aren't bad.
  8. D day is coming next week. Rodgers could save face and say he never said he wasn't coming to and just show up to camp.
  9. I think our defense will be top 5. Johnson, Nichols, and Smith will have pro bowl type seasons. Mack and Quinn will be what we expected last year. Hopefully Jackson upgrades his play. Hicks and Mack will hopefully plays without injuries.
  10. There is always a lot of hope with newly drafted players, but Fields is different. He had production at a high level. He's very smart. He has great work eithics .He is very athletic. He plays hurt. He loves football, rallied the players last yr to force the Big 10 to play football. A leader. (The difference) he has everything to succeed in the NFL.
  11. Late 60s with Sayers and Butkus made me a fan. 69 this year for me.
  12. I don't think 4 yr 17.5 mil is a top 10 contract. The last 2 yrs don't have guaranteed money left. According to over the cap website. I think they probably paid for past performance but not a terrible contract.
  13. He's a top 10 WR in the league, but because he is a possession type , he's not worth top 5 money. I would rather have him here but over the last two yrs, a large group of young good wrs coming into the league. They are thinking they can tag him twice and then not have to pay him 20 to 22 mil a yr for his last couple of yrs on a 4 yr deal. They essentially pay him 40 mil for 2 yrs and develop Mooney, a speedy wr paying a lot less money. Possession type WRs just don't get too dollar, they want to throw downfield, not 10 yard pops.
  14. Wait till Fields takes over, the end of the yr with flexible national games, we will unfortunately be in prime time to much.
  15. I watch some film on Darnell Mooney both highlights and all the times he was opened and overthrown by the terrible two of last year. He could be a star type player with Fields. I'll try to transfer files here from Twitter.
  16. That is in question, I think the offense produces consistently and we have an upturn in number of plays which could still give Montgomery 20 touched a game. KC have always had a good running game to go with their passing attack. I think Nagy will be able to run the offense he wants to this yr.
  17. I think all of this information was all based on the OTAs , where he was there but not participating. I dont know the length of recover for his surgery but it will only matter in a few weeks. Someone coming off of surgery is going to taken cautiously until training camp. Just people just trying to find something to write about.
  18. This is going to be such a revelation of Bears offense going forward. We have something special going to occur this year and might as well get positive about the ride. We look at the last two yrs and question everything, but all of that will go away. Pace simultaneously have fixed the Oline, QB position, RB and WR depth. We are about to happen. We question this because of the mistakes that Pace has had, but he has also had some wins.
  19. According to (experts) they are both #2 RBs but I think both could finish top 12. In one league last year I ended up with McCaffery and Michel Thomas making me think I would easily make the playoffs. Both failed. You never know how things work out.
  20. In going to keep David Montgomery lose my 5th and Antonio Gibson and loss my 9th.
  21. Being aggressive and more physical will help this line a great deal. The same way Olin Kreutz amd Kyle Long use to give the line an attitude. I watched every video on Teven when he got drafted. Worth the effort.
  22. Obviously there is a huge upgrade of talent in the NFL but he has the athleticism to succeed. The difference of Fields is his intelligence. There was a IQ test related to qbs studied over the last 12 yrs of qbs going to the NFL. He scored the highest of any QB in those 12 yrs. Tests don't usually figure in intangibles, of which he has. I will go out on the limb and say he does the best of all the rookies. Lots of variables go in to success of qbs, I think he has everything. Nagy and his staff is perfect to develop this type of prospect. Didn't work with Tru because he didn't score high on that same IQ testing I mentioned. I think second on that test was Mahomes. As far as reading defenses, he's second coming out of college with percentage of hitting his second reads on pass plays. I think that will be no problem.
  23. 3 things for me that make a football player successful. Love football, has football IQ and works hard. He seems to have all of that. I think he will be the next great qb in the NFL. Plays hurt, very smart and is athletic. Good combo. The best thing is he's a Bear.
  24. In Illinois, I get on the Betrivers site. They give you double your money to join, or did when I joined anyway. The funny thing is , I use to win money playing FF, but am lousy at it now , but the last 3 yrs have been winning gambling on football which I never did In the past. Never drank heavy or got into drugs but love gambling. I guess everyone has a vice, that would be mine. I take 500 every year and gamble with it for football season and smart enough to quit if I lose, but been lucky the last 3 yes on betting on football.
  25. Last year I won 100 on the bears over 7.5 wins. Will be doing the same this year to.
