  1. There is a question mark on every QB in this draft, I aint wasting a #4 on possible busts
  2. This was off of NFL mock drafts-and here we go 1st round-traded with SF and get 30th,2nd,3rd,and 4th(I actually believe this will happen) our first pick is Donald/DT-seems unrealistic that he drops to 30th, but hell, Im game 2nd-a Bucannon/S - a potential starter his first year. 2nd-b Borland/MLB- absolutely a need for our team.-toughtackler,high motor 3rd-a Breeland/CB-tough, long, with a attitude 3rd-b Fuergson/DT- a nose tackle prospect-DL is now completely rebuilt 4th-a Hampton/CB- good STs player his first year with room to grow 4th-b Sims/RB- now we start with O backup depth 5th Latimer/WR - a big WR ---why not stock up 6th Savage/QB- a new victim for our guru QB whisperer 6th Jensen/TE- we now have filled every position of need HE SHOOTS-HE SCORES I take this draft in a heartbeat.
  3. Im not sure but are all the QBs gone already?
  4. Worked late- so I now make Watkins/WR my Brown pick. They have a decent defense they add Watkins to Gordon with a stud TE, offense will have the arrow pointing up. Oakland and Jason are now on the clock......
  5. Donald is the best pass rushing DT in the draft. His height gives him leverage with taller players. THE only problem I see with him is he wont be stout against the run. I have watched tons of tape on him, and he just doesnt hold up well with that aspect of the game. He is not my first choice, mainly because I dont think he will be there when we pick. Its like saying we should get Cloweny, unrealistic. Because of all the accolades afforded him, somebody will grab him before us. Thats why I am routing for Pryor, and would be happy with several at that spot. HaHa,Gilbert, and my secret wish Mosely. Mosely is one of the top players in this draft and would love if we ended up with him. He is going to be an impact player for who ever drafts him, and wouldnt mind routing for a stud MLB playing for the Bears. We have had a few at that position.
  6. He was terrible last year, but since he is still on the team, I root for him to look like 2012 Conte, not great but not terrible.
  7. Emery keeps throwing darts at the board and some of these fringe players are going to end up playing well and add a whole lot to the team. We need to start grabbing some RBs and add to that position.
  8. The picture isnt a good tell, he's a white guy. Hopefully he gets his shit together and goes out and succeeds, it helps the Bears be better. Like someone said , he is working harder to get where he needs to be. We have to give him credit for that.
  9. Here's an article that gives everybody something they want. The BPA options at 14 http://nflmocks.com/2014/04/21/will-chicag...-nfl-draft-b-p/
  10. Every time someone is cut, (we should look at him) he aint worth it. A good body doesnt make you a good football player.
  11. The Bears signed Josh Morgan a WR from Wash via SF
  12. I totally believe Lovie had a great influence in that first draft, all that you said were spot on. Good GMs dont hit on all of there draft choices and then it goes into developing those players. After three years we will be able to make a good judgement on Emery, the first year ,not good, although a stud WR in the second goes along way and bringing in Marshall should also be included in that draft.
  13. I think the surprise picks could be Hageman, Truitt, and Mosely. Mosely will be an all pro type and he's not my first choice, but absolutely would be a good addition to the team.
  14. Absolutely. I think we go S in first round, but do not discount , if we trade back that could change. I think if he fell down in the first round, and Pryor and HaHa are gone, Mosely could be our surprise pick, and I wouldnt hate that.
  15. Gives you more time to hibernate.
  16. Actually Pryor is a better fit, we ask our Ss to play up and back, more of a hybrid style and Pryor fits it better. I think they both will be good pros but think Pryor has more upside as a playmaker. I listed an article in the previous post and look who the author compares them too. I believe that to be true.
  17. Pryor is more of a playmaker. HaHa- 10 PBUs-7 INTs 3 FFs in career. 100 Ts Pryor-14 PBUs-7 INTs- 12 FFs in career. 218 Ts HaHa is a better pass defender, but Pryor is not far behind. Here is article which praises both but Pryor has more upside. http://nflmocks.com/2014/04/20/chicago-bea...ha-clinton-dix/
  18. Here is a current list of visits off of BearGoggles http://beargoggleson.com/2014/04/19/chicag...20the%20Network
  19. how ever you wish to do it, Im ok with
  20. That would be cool, I think we draft a Wr but it will be later rounds.
  21. Of course that would matter who we drafted, but I dont see any rookie being the starter full time, unless we have an injury.Ratliff will get the most reps but of course injury would change that. If we get lucky and get Donald, he will be rotational. If we go with a guy like Nix, I doubt if he would be in on passing. I like you, think Donald will be a very good player on pass rush but may be a liability on run downs. He hasnt taken a step in the NFL yet so we should see how all that plays out.
  22. . Our best 4 as it stands right now is LDE-Young, 3-T-Houston,NT-Ratliff-Allen-RDE Even if we get a rookie in the mix, that will still be our best 4 players, so these 4 will see many snaps together. Mundy will be our starting SS and will play well there. Depth at all positions except DE is at suspect. If Briggs has lingering should issues from last year, you might see Bostic starting at WLB, the position he is best suited for. We need a DT rotational player, starting FS, a MLB backup or starter when Williams hits the gurney again, and a CB to groom for a starter role next year. We still need a backup RB,QB, and TE. I suspect we could see draftees at all of those positions.
  23. We need more options if some of these choices fail. I wish every player on the Bears to be the bomb, but we all know they wont be. So let the games begin and load up on prospects.
  24. Your spot on, it takes two years and go with the BPA and fix the rest of the spots next year.
