I am referring to football players. You have two with the same traits, one runs a 440 and one runs a 460, who do you think gets the look? When looking at prospects I look at production, football sense, work habits and then athletic traits. I like everything about Lynch, but with a lack of speed it limits what he can do in transferring to other positions in the NFL.

The point of the article was if we trade down our extra picks can fill other needs. And like everybody says we need many spots filled. 50% of the first round picks are busts. So its all a crap shoot. I see us trading down and different names will be in place down there. My pick if it was my choice would be Pryor, as much as I like Donald, he will not be a good run defender which would put him into a role as a pass rusher, something he does very well. I want someone in the first round being a starter from day 1.

I dont think anyone thinks he will be the next Hester, just do a descent job and have a few longs ones along the way.

This article is exactly what I see happening in the draft this year. As the article suggests, the more tap I watch on Donald the more I see him not handling the run in the NFL.Gilbert has all the tools but dont see having the savy to star in the league. As it states, I see us dropping down and either grabbing the players they mention or a S such as Ward or even a Bucannon. I suspect you say those things about any recruit, but I was just going by things Ive read.

Hester was probably the best ever, but to be honest, he made a lot of bad decisions along the way. His TDs superseded that but not effective anymore.

The #1 thing Trestman will look at is accuracy and decision making, he doesnt fit that.

We all can be hopeful, Hesters gone, and not viable anymore, so lets get behind the next guy in line, Im all in.

Been watching Kyle Fuller,and that kid can play. Obviously videos are put together to show the good aspects of a player, but he definitely stands out.

If a rookie comes in and doesnt get much playing time, how is he going to be getting a good contract 4 years later?

Was watching my two favorite players Pryor and Donald, Pryor isnt perfect at S but he sure is an aggressive guy, not as good, but reminds me of Troy P. Also just noticed, Donald gets manhandled in the run game, but can sure go after QBs. I am starting to think, he may be to small to be an every down DT. More of a rotational pass rusher, but does that very well.

Its not that they are a waste, but with Williams, Briggs being gone next year,and who knows about SMC, we need some more bodied with potenial to man those spots.

Thats going for the extra yard there, I love to dream and that site helps achieve that goal.

Williams and Briggs arent spring chickens and Bostic will be playing Briggs spot sometime this year and in the future.So I think we need another body at MLB

Everything has changed. Taco Johns all left and in the last 5 years there are new ones around. When were you around the hood? HaHa will be a good player, but if I had the choice I would take Pryor, I want my defense to intimidate.

There are a lot of things to like about that draft. Our inherent difference is would be .... Although Jones in the 3rd would be a steal, I still think we will address MLB in 3rd or 4th round AND...because Donald is such a great prospect,I think he will be gone. I think we trade down and grab some extra picks. Towards the bottom of the first round our options wll be Pryor(hopeful but probably not likely) Ward comes into play down there. Fuller/CB comes in to play down there. Truitt/DT/DE could easily be our pick. And down there is some of those names are gone, Mosely could come up if left on board. I like your second draft the best because of the names, Truitt would be hard to pass up if there in the second. I believe if we trade back, he could be a target. It is hard to say how realistic these would be, but they are simply fun. I think Truitt and Donald would end up playing the same position with Truitt being able to move outside, but we have 3 good players there now and dont see that happening.

There is a reason speed is so well liked because it separates the average from the plums.There are exceptions to every rule but it matters.

Unless someone has an injury history, I dont really think you can draft players with the thought,(will he get hurt because he is a physical player?) You just never know on how a player will turn out. That's why GMs change jobs so often, the good ones arent right all the time, and the bad ones wreck teams for 4 years because they draft like JA.
