We just got to see the weakness of this team. OL has a lot of issues and the play calling didnt help the line. CW has responsibility in this loss also. I only watched the highlights but almost every sack was on blitizes. It seems like some better choices on play calls would have helped the line. We should have had more max pass protects. Almost no one thought we were going into Houston and win except dreamers like me. They have held 2 teams to 3 points in the second half. Holding teams to under 20 points is always a good showing. I listen to Olin after the game and line calls also goes on CW. All of this is just a lot for a rookie. We are 1-1 and just played one of the top teams in the league on the road. Fire the coach, the OC and condemn Poles for not draftingv OL. We drafted Wright last year in the first round. (he didnt play well today) This year maybe we should have drafted the OL instead of CW, and Rome? To complete a team, Poles said he needed 4-5 yrs to do it. This is year 3. You can't add anyone to the OL in season that is going to make a difference. Our 2 strongest OLineman are Jenkins and Wright and neither of them played well today either. We have to scheme plays to help the OL. I think we need to go out and pound the ball and more play action. Bates and Kiran were part of the plan but both have injury issues. Connor Williams was the only player we could have added that might have helped and Poles didnt sigh him.

The offense struggled and can't run the ball. The defense got us down to a one score game, probably the best we could get.

If we can keep it a one score game maybe we have a shot, the defense has shown up in the second half.

The defense is real but just wont make up for the skakey offense.

Seriously they have Kmet go one on one with Anderson.

Rome should have had that endzone pass.

As bad as he was , he was a first round pick, 19th if i remember right. And we were stupid.

No one is given the Bears a 1st or 2nd for Bagent so this disscusion is just FF.

Who's our backup if we trade Bagent? Poles isnt running with Austin in a season he thinks we will win alot of games.

One game is a small sample size to make season long projections. It wasnt a good first game but we now get to see round 2. Shelton was getting slammed for getting run over , come to find out Jenkins tripped him. The offense was shabby so lets see how they rebound. A very common reaction is first game over reaction. I always think a team is not its worst game or best game in a season, its somewhere in between. The key is we won the game. What we know is we have a very good defense and that usually keeps teams in games to the end.

I keep getting the thought we are going to win this game and its not my usual positivity insanity. And 27-13 keeps poping in my head. I use to be a soothsayer but then stress entered my life and I lost it. Did it come back to me? Miami had Hill, Waddle, Achane and Tua and lost by 21 points at home. They have a former coach of the year and still they lost.

I think they are stuck with Bagent considering Rypen got picked up. I think they are planning a playoff run and getting rid of assets doesnt fit that plan.

Hopefully we get that kind of peformance from our defense. Dolphins have all that O talent and got whipped.

I think we need more film than one game for juding the oline. Shelton had 3 terrible plays but was okay for the rest of the game. Every center will have problems with a 361 lb Sweat. Top 3 DTs in the league may be a bad comparision point. Now Davis clearly doesnt have his heart in the game. He has had plenty of time to get it together. When Bates is ready Davis will sit. Also Bill Murray will be rostered the rest of the way oput as I see Davis being sat after Bates get back. This week will be a good read on the OTs that had a good day Sunday. Hunter nad Anderson are studs. I see a lot of 2 TE sets to help with the blocking and keep Kmet on the field most of the game. Everett had more snaps last week. Houston is vunerable to deep passes. They gave up 4 deep passes over 34 yards last week. Scott should have a heyday if he holds onto the ball.

I think they adjust to the mistakes they made.If they can keep Houston in check in the running game, they will keep the score close. The defense is real and will have a positie affect on the game. If they pressure CJS in the game we should get a few TOs and you never know how that effects the game. I think Caleb will look entirely different in this game. Waldron will scheme some rollouts into the game plan, so they cant tee off on Caleb.

Rome has a sprained MCLweek to week. Probably 2 weeks.
