I never get picky with words but you use the word (never) and then (seldom) , then I'm supposed to guess what you mean? They don't have the same meaning. You could make things easier to understand you if you took time to proof read your posts. Then you don't like it if somebody says anything. So far I have watched 3 games of Daniels, he does focus on Wrs but does not do it all the time. I'm going to watch the Wisconsin game and count how many times he focused on one WR, and how many times he didn't. Then I can be clear Instead of throwing out unknown stats.

If he is Aaron Rodgers 2.0 , I don't care about personal choices. Rodgers turned out to be a little odd, and was King for how many years.
-
He is my 4 th choice at WR . ( after the big 3) Most likely to get. Played with Daniels if we go that way.
-
A lot of what you say is true but when you use words like ( never) that indicates he can't. Now I get they have tendancies but they don't do it all the time. Sometimes plays are set up go to one player, every play is not a progression. Your evidence of he doesn't do progressions well is because he doesn't turn his head enough? That's a stretch.

Not by most experts. Newton and Murphy are mid 20s to end of the first round. I watched some tape on L Taylor, he's got some game. I like players with production and not sure about their stats.

Does that outfit come in blue? Asking for a friend.

What's nice what Poles is doing now is building depth . There is always injuries and our depth hurt us last year.
-
Who's the best edge in the draft? Dallas Turner-L Latu- Jared Verse. I see some mention names like Chop Robinson and Darius Robinson. Watching tape, I like Verse a lot. Not sure how his traits transfer to the NFL. What say you

It's just speculation, the best QB in the league was never considered generational. It's just labels analysists place on prospects. I'm not sure people said that about Joe Burrows either. I think they see high ceilings but obviously it's a lot of things that come into play to be that.
-
We are very close, I think a lot depends on the progress of Dexter and Pickens. Experts say from year one to two is when players make the biggest jump. I think edge 1 would be a better value than WR. 4 . A few more draft picks sure would be great this year.

To be fair 54 was just sticking up for me when you said ( i don't know how to do something ) yet you watch two hours of tape and you're an expert. No one was taking a shot at you, it's just most people don't get personal on here but you often do. I was serious when I asked what you see to know if a play was thrown to the first read, second read or so on. Sometimes is obvious but don't think that applies all the time. The conflict between Bearsfan and me is what it is and I don't need support from other members. I just ignore it now and still just have discussions.

I think out last moves are just bodies until we draft those spots. I don't see Zack Martin or Byron Cowert surprising anybody. If we don't pick up a quality DL in Free agency what position can we go with without help? I think with Allen and Moore we could compete wit this WR room. We need bodies at edge. With 3 DTs in place , I think we can get by w/o a new DT. After QB edge is the most important acquisition. Turner could put us in one of the top 5 defenses in the league. That helps whoever the QB is. Dallas Turner Jared Verse L. Katy One of these should be pick 9.

IMO I think Braxton has progressed enough where they don't take Alt at 9. Alt should be a all pro some day but drafting one of the 3 top WRs if there, we take them. If the best edge is there, we take him. I think those are our only two options if we stay at 9. If we move down, I think JPJ comes into play if we move pass 15. Who has the biggest effect on our team from day one? I think it's WR or Edge.
-
This is a post about Jayden Daniels not sure why people keeping bringing up Fields? Once he was no longer on the team, I've moved on and was his biggest fan.
-
I have moved on from Justin, Im reference to Daniels tape now. It was easy to see on some plays where Justin held the ball to long but he didn't do that all the time. I think all QBs some plays are obvious on their intent but once they hit 3 seconds several options are at their disposal.
-
I'm asking the expert on here to help me learn. When I watched former QBs break down of Justin's play, they always mention they don't know the progressions on plays. They say they aren't sure if a WR run a bad route or the QB missed a player. How do you know a pass was the first progression ? I can't figure that out. It's very complex to me. Now I understood when you said Daniels locked on a player by his eye movement but he doesn't do that all the time. Is there a video you watched that show's you that?
-
There is a general statement that 50% of the first round are busts. Not because they don't become good players but because they they don't live up to their draft position. Poles has did well with second picks but I guess he's only had one first round pick so far anyways. I think 15 is the magic spot but a few slip down lower. 9 to no lower than 15 will get him one of his guys. 9 could be the first Def player coming off his board. So that means it's likely to be an edge unless one of the top 3 WRs drop.
-
They ran a pro style offense and he throws from the pocket, isn't that what they're looking for.
-
Without knowing his progression and what his reads are, how do you know that? The tape I watched, shows once he's under pressure, is when he runs. It's easy to see him throw to one WR but I can't tell if that's he first, second or third read.

The Chicago Bears are on the clock! OFFSEASON OPEN THREAD!
Stinger226 replied to adam's topic in Bearstalk
Nah, they were never going to run the rest of the way with a rookie just when the defense turned the corner. Justin didn't play well the first part of the season, much better when he got back. They needed to finish they're evaluating him. -
Legette, Frazier and Stover would be targets of mine every mock.

Daniels was the best QB in college last year. He played in a pro style offense and is a great running option . I'm not sure who has the most upside on the QBs but he is the most ready to start in the NFL. Caleb is always popping out of the pocket and playing hero ball. Holds the ball to long. Didn't play as well against better opponents. Daniels was in the SEC. I'm going to keep looking at tape to,see who stands out more than the other.
-
I would take any of those drafts. My was Caleb - Turner - Tez Walker- Tanor Bortolini Now let's do with just a trade back with Washington and then the wild ones.
-
I think so to. He's going for it now, to get the right guy he may have to use future draft capital.
