Thanks for the compliment but not this time.
-
I have to give you a compliment, you are Mary Poppins compared to some of these dwebs I'm arguing with on X. It's insane out here.
-
They haven't made any franchise altering signings but we have gotten better. Bates is the starting OC until they add someone else.
-
After they meet with Caleb, you may finally get your wish but all of this talk of trading Justin, no one wants him is all bu!lsh!t. Media generated stories.
-
Poles hasn't decided yet. A far cry from he's being traded and their taking Caleb. Are you selling your Justin Field's bobble head?

Bears sign vet OL Matt Prior to 1yr deal (was with 49ers last year)

He wasn't drafting a OT at nine anyway. -
Goid point, plus our WR coach was his coach in LA and Everett played with him.
-
That's the whole point. The media claims Justin is being traded, a done deal. You just answered the question. Because the Bears haven't decided yet. Justin would have been told if he was.
-
I have proof he's not being traded. Im not saying they are or are not drafting a QB but if this is true, why haven't you heard from Justin? Poles said he was going to be transparent and do right by Justin, That means Justin knows. So why isn't he voicing his sadness of leaving. Talking about where he would like to go? Saying goodbye to Chicago? If he's leaving, he owes nothing to the bears about keeping this quiet. He's been told he's not being traded.. That's why you haven't heard from him.

The video I seen did have everything included after the Everett sign. The writer did the dive , I just read the article. He had the adjusted rate at 44 mil before he started deducting. After JJ . He had a high rookie pool because of 2 top 10 picks and figured 7 mil for in season money. I'll try to link the video.

Their will be many choices to get.

Has any generational QB prospects ever won a SB?

I'll buy some of that. -
Since I have a lot of free time,I look at a lot of content. I heard they actually might like Ordunze better than MHJ. His work ethic and love of football is outstanding. At 1 and 9 if we take a QB, unlikely we get any of the 3 top WRs . If that's the case we should be the first to take a edge player. There are 3 that should go top 15. Likely we move back enough to get a 2 nd round pick and still get one. With the second it will have to be a OC if available or the WR. I always look to Great Blue North Draft site for reference. In round 2 range available WRs should be Franklin-Leggette-McConley-Coleman-Wilson- So we add our WR and then our next pick us 75. Here probably be a C, or 3T? We honestly don't have enough picks to fill our needs which I think comes into play on whether we trade our first pick or not.

We spent 22 mil in free agency so far that brings us to 22 mil. Our adjusted rate is figuring in rookie pool which is high because we have 2 first round picks. Also last year we had 7 mil for in season business. So 22 mil left. We need a WR, and DL,, if not 2. Another C. He may stay with Bates and draft a C which would need to be in the second round which we don't have. I see no high level edge or DT with only 22 mil left . More on the lines of D Walker and Justin Jones like last year. Chase Young- Clowney, and SJ Wonnum . Are the best of the rest IMO Still lots of WRs but he's not paying Mooney type money. I hope he can still get Curtis Samuel for around 3/ 20. Some DTs left but with the money we have to find a 2/11 type deal Odds are we can still get one above average player that's left. I hope Clowney can be got on a 1/7.5 mil deal. That would be the best get I would like Samuel - Clowney - Quintin Jefferson and hopefully a Connor Williams on a deal because he won't be playing for the first 6 weeks.

If Waldron gets a HC job that means we were highly successful. If we win 10-11 games and make the playoffs, there is no scenario where Poles fires Flus. Even if Waldron was responsible for the boost. It would mean our defense had to be pretty good too. It this happens, Flus is more likely to get extended than be let go. -
With all these media members claiming sources telling them info, I never saw anyone connect us to Byard, Swift or Everett until they happened. Poles does not leak information . The pick Caleb, trade Justin is all media generated stories. Why would Poles decide what he's doing without completely venting the prospects. He tried to do that after the Combine and Caleb blew him off , which delayed his decision making. I guarantee you Poles didn't like that. He said he wanted to know what he's doing as soon as possible. That Decision got delayed two weeks, creating this chaos. If Poles decided already about Caleb , he would have already traded Justin. You don't have a market to trade someone if you're not trying to trade him. Justin is his backup plan. Everyone he got out of Chicago, he did it immediately, he didn't wait for a better option. Roquan, Claypool, Quinn, Mack were gone right away.

I think when Poles keeps Flus because his players support him and he is a good defensive coach. They are on the same page on how to become a winner. You can't earn stability with constantly changing staff because of a few disappointments. Poles did not put Flus in the beat position to win when he tore the roster down . Flus is learning how to be a head coach, Poles accepts that. He made mistakes on coaches now I think e is more selective and made better choices. -
If we don't draft Williams, we will have a hard time getting a top 6 QB outside of the first round. Nix or Penix. He may consider a Joe Milton or Spencer Rattler later. I don't know why but Michael Pratt name keeps popping in my head as a later draftable QB.
-
With only 5 picks , Poles will be selective with his picks but pay attention to his board. WR, DE, DT, OL Last year he moved up to draft Stevenson after taking Brisker and Gordon the year before. He had Stevenson rated high. If 2 WRS are there, he may do that. He will be open on his decisions. Last year after the free agency and draft he brought in Ngakoue late. There will still be a free agency period to get something he missed on.
-
3 QBs maybe 4, 3 WR, 1. OT maybe . Probably a DE or DT available. I think Brian Thomas is the next best WR, if we trade back, he would be a target.

This is why hes here, he's a player coach. has him come to a meeting and tells JJ he's being given more techniques for play. The screen announces he makes all pro. This is off of X, not sure you can open if not on X. https://x.com/shane_riordan/status/1742733629862654071?s=20 -

I'd be satisfied with one at this stage of Beardom. Poles has a plan, this is a critical year in his rebuild . Let's see what he decides. -
I know he's a WR but he has the size to be a combo type player . At the end of the season got signed to a futures contract and then Poles recently gave him a normal deal.
-
That is more the norm. Poles isn't giving big deals, except to a selected few. He is building thru the draft. Big contract failure will doom a GM quicker than drafting the wrong first pick!
