Thanks to the other 10 people on this site that lend support to Justin and just don't accept the media frenzy that Williams is Mahones 2.0 For the 5000th time, I will support Williams if Poles says he is the man. I'm not doing it because media says it's a fact. They are wrong a lot. Someone suggested a Justin rating. Mine is a 6. Worth dating but haven't decided if I want to marry yet. Justin was the 11th ranked QB over his last 7 games, that's not tier one but its not backup QB either.

I'm buying that. Then you could take any other QB in the draft. Or you could trade to three ( NE doesn't have a QB), and get more capital and choose MHJ or any of the other QBs. Again this is Poles decision and I trust I'm to make the right choice.

Yes have bias when it comes to Justin, so many negative comments and then qualify it by saying you said something nice about him. I remember the game where he went 15-16,( something like that) , everyone on here is very positive and you say he looks good but he doesn't throw to his first read. You have such a hard time praising him even when he deserves it. No one that supports Justin believes he is the franchise QB but we do see room where he can get better. Here are some undeniable facts: We have the fist pick Justin is still a member of the Bears Williams is going to be the first player taken in the draft. Other than that everything is predicting the likely outcome of the future. No one has inside information. No one predicted Byard or Swift before it happened. Why are people so angry if they question that Williams might not be generational? Until he gets drafted, until he plays one year, no one knows that answer. There are many examples where high pick QBs have failed, only a few that actually became that. Luck, maybe Burrows, maybe Lawrence, maybe Herbert. No one drafted lately has proven that to be true.

If Fields ends up back here we can have a good laugh together. I have been told Rapoport is an insider. He reported today that the Bears have not been seeking trades for Fields. All team needing QBs have been signing players in the market. I'm not saying he won't be traded but if a team is not seeking trading a player, there is no market for him. All of this trade talk stuff has been media generated. All that tells me is they haven't decided yet . I keep being told their trading Fields and drafting Caleb. What actions are they doing that screams Fields is gone? I understand you will be upset if Fields comes back but IDC.

They don't have pick 1+9. Minny has pick 12 but have a glaring hole at QB. Barring injuries, some people think Aaron Jones is a better RB. Hunter was better than Greenard last year., McKinney is a p!us but Byard is not far behind. Those teams payed big money, we got deals Look at who they lost.

I stated if Poles likes Caleb he's drafting him. Its not Caleb or bust in his mind, only yours . As the GM he can't get drunk on prospects and ignore all his options. He's not old school because he might not draft Caleb, he will have a reason. I will be glad when his actions clears up our future so we can all like the Bears again instead of debating choices.

The only problem was we were the most likely team to draft Caleb, yet he blew us off for two weeks. It's a short trip from Indy to Chicago. He's trying to control everything which may be a red flag.

It's very simple, if Poles thinks Caleb is the guy , he's taking him. I put out other options that are still on the table. If Justin is still on the team_ ( did he get traded) , he's an option. I guarantee Poles gives a shit if they win. He's not blowing off a season or two because 3 years from now he may have better odds of winning a SB. By he way, last years SB did not have any generational QBs prospects playing in it.

The top CB in this draft has a Jones fracture that was discovered at the combine never reported before. I have no idea what that is. No GM is drafting a player without doing the medicals. I'm not pretending there is some secret injury its just common sense to get the medicals when your job us on the line with the choices you make.

You may be right but I think a person that has worked their before , has many friends still in football circles is more reliable than you. If you follow him , you would know he doesn't push bullshit. He tells you it's his opinion or what he was told.

If you're a GM do you tell the World true statements before free agency and the draft? Any GM that does that has been fired before. Everyone says this time of the year is the season for lying. But GMs are being honest. Got it.

He had two injuries last year. One kept him from playing in the Bowl game. It may be a stretch saying he has never been injured. The other one was a thumb injury that he played thru. Some people don't do research.

You might be right but it's an unknown right now. Maybe Poles likes another QB better and makes a trade and still gets his guy. If Poles doesn't draft Williams, he has a reason we don't know about. All options are available until they get eliminated. We will know in the next 10 days. I follow Greg Gabriel on X and he has personally messaged me several times. He said they have not decided yet, that Caleb is the most talented QB in the draft but has a few issues that are not public which may turn Poles away from Caleb. He thinks Daniels will end up being the better Pro. He thinks they could trade Justin but until Poles decides, they could still keep Justin. He thinks he could draft Daniels and keep Justin.

If Poles is not talking trades for Justin, then you're not getting any offers. When Caleb blew off the medicals and Poles had no choice but to keep Justin as a option. No one considers a draftee without the medicals. They might be probable in drafting Williams but ain't letting Justin go until they know that. How would it look if Poles traded Justin and then it comes out that Caleb has some medical problems. Not a good look.

It's hysterical that people think someone has inside information coming from the Bears regime. No one seen this coming until they sign him. No one called out the Byard signing before he took a Bear visit. Poles hides everything.

I agree the media is but no team reported they think Justin is terrible. The lack of attention for a trade is because of Wilson, Cousins, and Mayfield. Once they're off the table they will turn to the draft and if they are not able to get their guy, then Justin is in play. Then you can judge trade value. You are in denial if you think Poles is trading him for a 4 th or 5 th round pick. He will keep him . having a couple starting caliber QBs on the roster is not a bad strategy.

Herbert contract is up this year and always misses games. Johnson is not a true # 1 but valuable backup . Clearly they are making a push to win his year. Not sure ow a rookie QB figures into that plan.

NE trades Mac Jones. It sets up a biding war for pick one. Washington VS NE. That would still leave us a QB or MHJ? the ninth pick and a ton of draft capital. Poles is a magician --- Could he trade 1 to 2, 2 to 3, and back again. I can't imagine what that would bring us.
