  1. So one could say the Bears are the team OC's go to die.
  2. Listening to a bears podcast and almost every coach except the HC and ;couple others all have SB rings and both front office guys so far?
  3. Question. With your record over the last eleven years why are you qualified to pick another staff. MMcK. Mom said I get four more years. Heads I win, tails you lose
  4. I think I have broken the code. They rerun just a couple press conf. over and only change the questions. I swear he says the same thing about everything. almost a minute answer for yes and no questions. I want a BB type coach. "On to Cleveland."
  5. More importantly I have a win and I'm in the playoffs FF game. How am I suppose to figure out my roster.
  6. "I think for us to be able to come out that first two quarters and and do what we did that's, that was fun," Nagy said. "That's good football. The guys played energized. They they came out and played really good football all three phases complementary and I think they got to see what they can be." So say Nagy. That first half was fun to watch. And I would love to root for and see every game played that way. But that is not what the Bears are, nor can be. It was a one off fluke. The last 13 and a half games are what the Bears are and will be as long as the four clowns in charge, both in the front office and on the field, are allowed to remain. 8-9 is the best this mang. group will ever achieve together going forward.
  7. Then they would have to fire pave after tonight right. Fire Pace tomorrow hire someone that is at this time free. lI would think there are a few good options. I also don't see a lot of teams lettings others talk to their coaches with two weeks left. Most of them are in the hunt you would think
  8. If the Bears fire Nagy before the end of the season, or before Pace, does that not show that they are going to keep Pace?
  9. No. I'm a big fan of him myself. But you only have to look at C. Patterson to see how this coaching staff is limited in how they use players and scheme to get the most out of them. What I don't understand is I believe two coaches on the Falcons who worked with Patterson when he was in Chicago. Was it Nagy who was so stubborn to not see what Patterson can do and is doing the same with some of the players still on this roster? I would say yes.
  10. I used to see Big Cat on PFT the last few years. Enjoyed his humor and his opinions. Not a big fan of McAfee. Have not listened to any of Barstool. Just amazing to me how wide and the amount of context everywhere about the NFL and FF. At some point there has to be a point of over saturation. Having said that, if I were a 20-30 something, I would be busting my ass on getting in on the cash cow in any capacity I could.
  11. I have always thought that Olin sticks up for Sam, not just because of them working with each other. But also because love him, hate him, or anything in between the fact is he was an UDFA and how he made a starting roster in year two in the NFL.s. Even if it was the Bears. Not going to say what Olin thinks his ceiling is, don't know. He also talks about how the Bears running game is going. And that most of those calls must be coming from him that makes it tick. Again, good for an UDFA. I happen to believe he is at best a backup and found the only team he would start for. Time to find a real center going forward, it ain't Sam.
  12. My point exactly. It's hard for me to tell who is bad because it's that way throat the whole organization? Who do you keep or let go? This guy sucks at his position but is he even being used correctly? It's a rudderless, hell it doesn't even ave a hem, ship in a fog. And the ball boys know as much about what is going on then anyone else.
  13. Same to all of you. Those going to be with family for the Holliday I hope you survive and enjoy everyones company.
  14. Would it not be fitting for Nagy's tenure as Bears head coach to be the catalyst to bring down the whole house of cards. Goes from hated too revered, for changing the entire franchise unknowingly, just like his offense.
  15. It's like looking at this team in a fog. They are all in a fog.

    3-7, so now what

I hope yo'ur closer to right than wrong. But we have no idea what this team is with this coaching staff. As fans I think we see things that aren't there or don't see what is there. The only thing I'm sure of, is that this whole coaching staff needs to go. They are the biggest issue and the easiest to hopefully fix. But the players need to make plays and I have not seen that on a consistent basis. It's like this year has been played in a fog. You know there're playing, you know the score, but you can't see the wh, er, reason for anything.
  17. I think they made a good decision at the time. They believed they were in a good position for the next three years and took a shot. The Rams are doing the same thing this year. The Bears were wrong and did not have the team they thought they did. We'll see if the Rams are correct. It's starting to look like Stafford is who we thought he was.
  18. And as another thought . Maybe have him replace Bars just to get a feel for everything and not over use him or force him to be the guy at any position. Got that idea from other site sorry.
  19. I agree I thought he was saying that neither could call blocking alinements or protections as well as Mustifer
  20. And the case for Mustifer from Krutz. He has stood up for him as far out playing his non draft status. An UDFA working his way up to starting in the NFL at center. He might not be the answer but your getting a lot for nothing really. He is exceeding his non draft position. And does do some good things in blocking calls for the run game.

    WTF Officials!

Great story by Simms on PFT and his interaction with Corrente the ref. Yelled at him about a roughing the passer non call with a four letter word included. Normally the refs let the QB know when he is going to start the clock after a stoping it. Did not for a long time so Simms asked him why. Corrente said are you going to apologize.
  22. I'm hoping for six TD's from the off. I need 50 points to claw a win in FF and down to Herbert, Moony and Santos. Has not been a good year for me.
  23. Gees, based on todays performances the Bears have a slim chance to have one of the better Off. performances this week.

    Patrick Mahomes

I also think that perhaps his toe injury from the SB may be more serious. If anyone has had turf toe or a better comp for most regular folks is gout. If you have ever suffered from any toe issues you know how it effects even walking. Or maybe, using a golf analogy, he has the yips, or what ever baseball players get who just can't throw the ball anymore. Just wondering.
