Allen confident Bears will rebound
You see, nothing to worry about. We just played the #2 and #3 team in the Power Rankings, which means 28 other teams would also be 0-2 against those teams. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/article-1...aign=sf13361848

David Amerson waived by Redskins
I remember him on some draft boards for the Bears in the 2013 Draft. At this point, I don't know how he could be much worse than Fuller.

What is going on here?
Let's see how many games the Cowboys win without Romo and Dez. They very well could be 3-7 before they both are back. The Bears have not had their top 2 WR's and starting DT in Ratliff; Mundy was also a starter put on IR. With Jay out, that is 5 starters missing out of the top 22 next week. That is a lot to overcome when you need everyone to overachieve to have a chance. Penalties have killed us and special teams coverage has been weak. If we don't have that ridiculous amount of penalties and stop that KO return, the game might be a loss, but it would not have been a blowout.

Cutler out at least 2 weeks
It might sound crazy but Kyle Orton played in Denver with Fox and Gase. So did Tebow.

Cutler out at least 2 weeks
Most had us 0-2 after these 2 games anyway. We had the lead at half before losing to GB, and we were playing close with Arizona before the wheels came off.

Cutler out at least 2 weeks
Pretty good article about the type of pass protection Cutler has had in his career (not good): https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2015/...iss-jay-cutler/

Cutler out at least 2 weeks
The Bye is not until Week 7. I did see the replay. Now I wonder if he actually tweaked it on one of those other planned runs and then just fully strained it on the INT. Based on the throw, he might have actually hurt it then because the ball came out funny.

By far and away worst team in NFL....
Because it is only one win, essentially we all could be 1-2 next week (except that we play the Seahawks).

Cutler out at least 2 weeks
The Seattle game was a loss anyway, their home opener and they are 0-2. Also, I don't know how you can declare a QB out 2 weeks with a hamstring injury already, yet a WR with a hamstring injury is a game time decision. Sounds fishy to me.

How do you turn this team around?
Peyton Manning has thrown Pick-6s in back to back games, and they won both. Wilson was 19-30, 206 yds, 2 TDs and 1 INT (4th Quarter INT) against GB and Cutler was 18-36, 225 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT against them. Cutler is not really a problem, or if you think he is, he is nowhere near the biggest problem. After two games, he has a better QBR than Peyton and Eli Manning, Brees, Foles, Newton, Flacco, Smith, Bradford, Stafford, and Tannehill against two of the better teams in the NFL.

By far and away worst team in NFL....
There are currently 8 0-2 teams, with a potential for 9 if Indy loses tonight. Seahawks, Ravens, Eagles, Giants, Lions, Saints, Texans, and the Bears. The interesting part is that only the Bears, Eagles, and Giants have faced teams that are both currently 2-0. The Lions opponents are 2-2, meaning the only teams the Lions opponents have beat are the Lions. For comparison sake, we lost to GB by 8, SEA lost by 10. I know it looks bad right now and the Cardinals game completely got out of hand after the Pick-6 and injury, but up to that point it was competitive (and that was after the initial KO taken back for a TD). Cutler's only incompletion was the Pick-6, and he had a perfect Passer Rating before that play. This was also with Alshon and Kevin White. I am not worried about the offense. The defense is a different story. We can't get pressure, and our DB's can't cover anyone. I am surprised at how ineffective Houston, Young, and Allen have been.

How do you turn this team around?
jason, 10 players sounds about right. If we can bring in 1-2 via free agency and 2-3 via the draft, it will take 2 more offseasons (Year #3) before we are truly competitive.

By far and away worst team in NFL....
We also played 2 of the best teams in the league and will face a 3rd one next week. These first 3 games were going to be brutal either way.

Bears vs Cardinals Game Thread
I think we also just broke the team record for penalties and penalty yards in one game.

Bears vs Cardinals Game Thread
Thank god they missed that extra point, because now we are only averaging 39.5 pts against per game instead of 40.

Bears vs Cardinals Game Thread
8 point game we and we get the ball first. Our defense has only allowed 108 yards, so they have not played that bad. Until the pick-6, our offense and Cutler were near perfect.

Wow! Jared Allen deflects pass and then intercepts it?

Best play of the game, punt, make them fumble, then recover.

Bears vs Cardinals Game Thread
wtf? A Pick-6 and he hurts his throwing shoulder attempting to tackle.
-
Bears vs Cardinals Game Thread
Yeah, but both were close plays, especially Fuller's, he was just a split second too early.

Bears vs Cardinals Game Thread
Cutler 8-8, 120 yds, 1 TD, 158.3 QB Rating, and now has 2 rushes for 14 yards.

TDs by Bellamy and Langford.

Wow that was an awesome drive. Cutler and Langford, then a nice pass to Bennett.

Refs missed a head shot on Cutler and now a face mask, wtf.

Jay Cutler running some option plays very effectively.
