Would not be opposed to using a 4th or 5th to move into the 1st to grab their guy at this point. 

If Jackson is on the clock, I think we take him. Otherwise I’m looking at Landry or Carter (if they are there). Daniels wouldn’t be a bad pick on the oline if we intend to move white hair to guard permanently.

Rappaport reporting bears are trying to trade up into the back end of the first. So don’t turn the tv off just yet. Presume it would be for one of the guys I mentioned above.

I read some quotes from him and man, loved what I heard. I wanted to trade Dow but I can’t argue the pick at all. Hope he is a total beast!

Actually it might of been Ridley they were trying to move up to get. 

Vikings picked up a major character risk. Very talented player but I will root for him to suck. 

Fun fact (because I was curious).  Turns out Smith and Floyd played together at Georgia.  Does it mean anything?  Maybe not...other than familiarity with one another.

Watch is draft his teammate and we will have 3 of our 4 lbs from Georgia. Sounds like he knew Floyd and got along with him. 

I think we are in line to get a good OLB. Sam Hubbard is my sleeper because he would compliment Floyd the best. Landry or Carter would be outstanding as well. Pace said they like to move around in the 2nd, so don't sit tight waiting for our pick and expect a move up with one of our 4ths if he wants a Landry or Hubbard. If he sits tight, he should get one of those 3.  2nd Rd could complete the D.

Ridley went to Atlanta .  Means he and another Bama alum Julio Jones will be playing together.  Watch out for ATL.

I like Carter and adding him would give us some incredibly athletic LBs across the front 7.  It would also be an interesting case study in watching how a very good coach (Fangio) takes elite athletes and helps them play much better than they did when they had a bad coach (Mel Tucker at Georgia).

I think he will look for pass rush- So Landry and Carter are in play. If we go with OL, Williams, Daniels, and Hernandez are in play.

I guess you see who drops to you. Maybe WR is in play as the BPA or CB. We will get a good player and just take the best one. They all will help.

I was searching for something else and found that nugget. Pretty cool and to think he really didn't play much the first few weeks. 

It took him a couple weeks or so to get into true game shape.  He's done what he needed to do after the holdout mess.  I remember at the time of the holdout we talked about how he needed to have a Boss like rookie season where he plays at a high level if he hopes to put the holdout behind him.  He's played at a high level this year.  Keep it up kid.  That holdout now feels like a distant memory.  Winning helps bury those things too.  His future looks bright here.  

He will be moving up on that list as he goes forward . He is not fully  up to speed yet.
