  1. I apologize, I can't recall the payouts... Does anyone know the final payouts for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th place?

http://www.chicagobears.com/multimedia/vid...78-17680b4c6f88 The Bears are saying this is Pace's show. I believe that to be true. I have zero faith in George and Ted to make any football decision and that is who Pace looks to for support. It wont change anytime soon unless Pace and the new HC royally freak this up. Ted and George already hosed up the Emery Era, if the Pace era doesn't get better the only thing George can do is fire Ted Phillips and completely restructure the Front office. Ive never disliked a Pro Teams President as much as Ted Phillips. I like George, he seems to really care but freak Ted Phillips.

2018 Cap Space $47.8 Cap Savings cuts $11.5 Glennon (no point paying him this much for a coin toss) $8 Sitton (depends on health, but I think $8 mil in cap space will be spent better elsewhere) $7 McPhee (injuries limit him too much) $5.6 Sims (I know some like him, but he is not worth over $5mil as a blocking TE) $5.6 Massie (can't imagine paying Massie to whiff on anymore DE's) $5 Wheaton (basically a million per reception) $4.5 Cooper (a FA bust, I had high hopes, but he was horrible and that TD blunder was icing on the cake) $3.2 Demps (with the emergence of the dynamic duo, I would only keep him for his veteran presence, cap hit is not too …

As the season closes, the Bears will be looking at these names and others to add to the 2018 roster. I targeted what should be the the focal point of OLB, OT, and WR at the 7,8, or 9 slot. They may surprise us with a CB, S, G or another position, feel free to throw more names. Is there a player that we cannot pass if a trade down offer arises? The Bears need to hit a homerun once again with 3 to 4 additions. Do they trade down for quantity or take the quality.

We play the AFC East and NFC West, while drawing the NYG and TB in the remaining games. GB gets WAS and ATL, DET gets DAL and CAR, and MIN gets PHI and NO. Otherwise we have common opponents. Based on home/away, we get NE, SEA, and LAR at home, and our toughest opponent away (out of division) is BUF. 2018 schedule: HOME MIN (13-3)* W DET (9-7) W GB (7-9) W LAR (11-5)* L SEA (9-7) L NE (13-3)* L NYJ (5-11) W TB (5-11) W AWAY MIN (13-3)* L DET (9-7) L GB (7-9) L ARZ (8-8) W SF (6-10) L BUF (9-7)* L MIA (6-10) W NYG (3-13) W *Playoff Teams I am hoping we can split the division (3-3), beat the Jets and Bucs at home,…

There is no way Fox and any of the coordinators are at minimum back next season. Hopefully, some get pink slips today... However, the bigger question now is does Pace get to choose the next or should he be bounced too? He's certainly made some hits and certainly some misses. I've personally come to the conclusion that I don't care either way. If he stays, he's shown enough to get one last chance to get it right. If he goes, so be it. He's made enough mistakes to warrant it. That said, if Pace goes, I want Sweatty Teddy put back on the calculator and hire a real president of football operations. I want a full clean. Hire the right man to hire the ri…

This seems like a match made in heaven. A team has... 1. A troubled locker room and needs a disciplinarian. 2. Plenty of talent. 3. An aging, veteran QB. 4. A bad defense that needs to be turned around by a defensive mind. 5. A new GM looking for a head coach. It would not shock me in the least if Fox gets fired, and immediately gets thrown into the mix as the #1 name for the Giants.

I thought this was kinda high for a guy who has never eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards in a season. With Rodgers deal, they have a lot tied up in QB and WR.

Go Bears? Merry Christmas, it's snowing in Chicago. We win, guarantee a lesser draft spot, but save some face by not losing to a winless team. We also go undefeated in the division (AFC North). Mr. Ohio is already 1-0 against Ohio teams. Can he make it 2-0? We lose, become "the team that lost to the Browns", maintain draft position, and guarantee Fox's fate. I am just hoping for a bounce back game for Trubisky and hope that Gordon doesn't go off when our CB's fall down (which they will). Bears 17 - 13 We Flush the Toilet Bowl!

I think we should resign K. Fuller . It is an area of need and if we go out and sign a high level vet, it will cost us an average of 13 mil based on last years signing. So is Fuller worth, 10 to 11 mil a year at 5 years with 30 mil guaranteed ? I think we have to , you figure we draft one high and at least need a young stable vet going forward. The Marcus Cooper signing was thought to be a ascending player, but fell of the edge. Prince played well but was not outstanding, so I think we keep one and Fuller is 3 years younger.

With all the criticize Pace has gotten lately, I still think he has given us our core for the future. Although his first round picks have had questions due to injuries, he has drafted well outside of that round. Here is my list of who I think our core will be going forward. (not in any particular order)(draft and FAs) Trubisky Shaheen Whitehair Howard Cohen Floyd Hicks Goldman Trevathan (2018 he will be 28) Bullard (has taken a step forward this year and will have a breakout season next year) N. Kwiat ( has grown as a pass defender) with Freeman gone will take over at one of the spots at ILB Amos (is one of the highest rated Ss this…

Congrats to Brad for winning this year's championship, and a big thanks to Ary for his work as the commish.

  18. Started by jason,

Some have talked about how to fix offense or defense, and pointed to defense being closer. This is true. But if the coaches and franchise want Trubisky to succeed, he needs to be given everything he needs. That means weapons and tons of time to throw to the weapons. Here's the mock draft that would fit that bill. Trading down is obviously mandatory. Your score is: 15527 (GRADE: C+) - Don't care about this score. Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 19 (BUF): Mike McGlinchey, OT, Notre Dame ( B )-Starts at LT immediately Round 1 Pick 29 (PITT): Courtland Sutton, WR, Southern Methodist ( B+ )-Stud WR and Red Zone mismatch, a crutch for Trubisky. Round 2 Pick 6: Ronnie …

To put a spot where we can look at all the potential future HCs.. I think Bill O'Brien might get let go this year. I think he might be a good coach going forward although his record is spotty. Another name out of left field I would like to throw in the ring is Peyton Manning. I have heard he might get into coaching but not necessary this year. Although he is unproven, he is a throbbing football brain, and I suspect would be a good influence on our QB for the future.

He was demoted when we signed Quentin Demps, but came back with a vengence when his window opened. He is becoming a center piece to an up and coming defense and his performance says a lot. It is too bad he didn't make the pro bowl, but his stats say he was deserving. According to the famous well liked PFF site, Amos ranks: 2nd in run defense with a 99.1 grade and 5th in pass coverage with a 89.5 grade. That ranks him #2 overall for all safties. With Jackson and him at S, the Bears have a tandem that can only get better with time.
