PFT is reporting that since Nicks tweeked his hamstring at the combine he has been unable to workout and has gained around 15lbs. Besides not working out, he must be eating a bunch of twinkies as well. Otherwise, there is no way you gain that much weight in that short of time. Same article says he has already lost some of the weight and has a workout scheduled with the Bears and Fins.

I hear it over and over, so I wanted to check a bit. There is probably some legit study piece out there that went into far greater detail, but when looking over the 1st round OL drafted in the last 10 years, it sure does seem like OL is a pretty safe pick. Does that mean there we no busts? Obviously not, but the number simply seems less. One potential reason, IMHO, is how many OTs were drafted in the 1st, who were expected to be LTs, but didn't make it there and ended up becoming solid RTs or inside OL. Not a bad option, IMO. However, I'd rather sign Bowe or Jackson, or trade for Marshall before I signed Johnson. Supposedly, he wants anywhere from $7-8m, which is a lot for a guy like him. I don't think he's playing with a full deck, and he is very inconsistent. (yes, I know Marshall is psycho and has inconsistent hands as well, but he has proved to be dominant with Cutler)

I seen sources that stated Getsy fired, still need to verify it but, happy if it's true.
