Bearstalk

http://sturminator.blogspot.com/2010/04/co...raft-board.html PFT posted this topic. While this is fascinating, I found it particularly interesting they had Corey Wooton listed as the 3rd best player in the 3rd round. Meanwhile, they had Major Wright listed as the 14th player in the 4th round.

Well, the Bears are more than on the ropes and they get a division-leading team Monday night.

Interesting to see after the fact. Probably puts to bed any sense that the Cowboys would have taken Long over Frederick. http://www.bloggingtheboys.com/2013/5/30/4...e-7-round-board

Bears are two-point dogs at home. The wheels have fallen off the Cowboys in their last two games and the Bills and Pats have given the Bears a blueprint for success. Dallas has 1 win against a team with more than 3 wins, the 5-7 Eagles. Trubisky is playing for his career. He will get a full week to prep for the Cowboys playing outside in the cold. The Bears need this game more than the Cowboys. Bears 20-12

Think someone mentionned Barber here in a thread a couple days ago as an option. He won't be htiting the market any more.

They signed him for dirt cheap. Geez.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,4882964.story First they say they are content to fill their MLB void via their current roster now they consider luring a retired MLB back to the game. Nothing serious here in terms of negotiations but I wouldn't be surprised if Dallas reached out to Urlacher's agent.

Cowboys are 9-6 now and still have to play the Eagles. Hopefuully yhe lose again and Philly gets beat by the skins. and we are ahead of both teams Boys & Philly for the wild card

Can you imagine a scenario where DL goes hot and heavy before the Bears pick? 1. TB – Jameis Winston, QB, FSU 2. TEN – Leonard Williams, DT/DE, USC 3. JAX – Dante Fowler, DE, FLA 4. OAK – Randy Gregory, DE/OLB, NEB 5. WAS – Danny Shelton, NT, WAS 6. NYJ – Marcus Mariotta, QB, ORE What then? My thought here is, do the Bears take the 4th best pass rusher with the #7 pick in the draft? I don't like that idea. Assuming no trade down possibilities, I'm thinking they have to go Bama with either Collins or Cooper.

There are still teams desperate for a QB. Can we get some picks for him?

Bears scoring differential for the first 3 quarters: 30-6 In the 4th quarter: 17-35 So the team has allowed only 6 points in the first 3 quarters of the first two games (literally averaging 1 point allowed per quarter), but is giving up an average of 17.5 in the 4th quarter. So opponent's offenses in the 4th quarter (17.5) outscore our offense for the entire game (16.5). I just didn't realize how dominant our defense has been. GB didn't score a TD until after the 1st minute in the 4th and Seattle scored one 5 minutes in. Some of this can be contributed to conditioning, etc, but I didn't like the Prevent defense Fangio called on Seattle's 99-yard TD drive on MNF.…

This is simply a "what if" draft. You can use any teams' picks. Mine is, what if we had the Jets draft picks?

Question: would you trade the 1st, 2nd, and two 3rd's for Calvin Johnson? I know I would really consider that thought and think this Justin Blackmon can be a Terrell Owens or Calvin Johnson type of threat. If by chance Justin Blackmon falls to the 5th pick that will equal 1700 points on the trade value chart. Our 1, 2, and 3's will equal 1700 points. After watching the bowl game and knowing he wasn't 100% healthy and he absolutely destroyed his competetion shows me he will excel in the NFL and be a top 5 WR. Just a nugget to consider, we do have ammo to go up to pick #5. Also, I think he comes across as a good high character guy. How about Micheal Floyd, some …

for pushing the blocker into the punt at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. Great, great play. Just keep him off the field on offiense. Peace

Just saw Tommie Harris in last nights episode of Criminal Minds on DVR. The good part is, he really sucks at acting. So, he'll have more time to focus on earning his pay check.

Ravens back out of the deal - will be interesting to see what the new going rate for Crosby is.

To the Ravens. For two firsts.
