Teams that could need QBs: Browns - Will draft QB at #2 Cowboys - May draft QB at #4 Niners - #7 Eagles - #13 (recent 2yr deal with Bradford) Rams - #15 Texans - #22 Chiefs - #28 (maybe) Broncos - #31 (maybe) So let's say only the Browns pick a QB at #2. All I have to say is Bryce Williams was a name thrown around as a mid-round possibility. PASS He looks soft, lacking definition, zero explosion, and his 40 was slow. --EDIT-- And a ball hit him in the face. Right through his hands. No thanks.

Watching the combine and two guys are impressing me today. Christian Hackenberg and Vernon Adams have both shown great accuracy and good footwork. I really like Hackenberg's release point and quick delivery. And Hackenberg's arm strength is good without much effort. Adams looks like he has to load up a bit to get the long ball out - especially the post-corner, but he is putting it right where it needs to be every time. Loved Connor Cook's anticipation. Jacoby Brissett looks slooooow and his delivery mechanics are slower. He has some things to work on. On the other hand, Treyvon Boykin looks very, very uncomfortable and rushed. So in my daily fact gathering of all that is Bears I found an intriguing story in Bleacher Report. In it they discuss a bargain FA acquisition for each team. For the Bears they chose Nick Fairley (currently of the Rams). Although he hasn't done much lately perhaps in Fangios scheme he'd do better? And why not spell Goldman from time to time? Kenyan Drake - 4.45, 4.44. He looked smooth. Good scat-back Ezekiel Elliot - 4.46 on his first try. Pretty good for his size. His calves are monstrous. Tyler Ervin - 4.40 on 1st effort. He looked pretty effortless too. Real light on his feet. Derrick Henry - 4.54, 4.52 at 247lbs. He had a real shaky start on the first run, but looked scary at the end of each. Yesterday Pace stated he was comfortable with Leno Jr as his LT. I suspect he means he takes another step on the progression scale to being better. Also he stated he will address the OLine in FAgency. Also that depending on who they get in FAgency will depend on the position Long will play either OT or OG.
