I think pressure will be on Poles and Flus to win in the third year of a rebuild. What puts us in the best situation to win now? I think it's a 98% chance Williams is our first pick. He has the highest floor and highest ceiling IMO. Not to say some of QBs won't be successful. I think the next most unknown QB prospect is McCarthy. Okay, this is not a complain thread. There are plenty of those which I have plenty of comments on. My question is this. We have about $34m in cap space. It was reported to be around $30m, then it was reported the cap went up another $4m for all teams, thus $34m. Each year, we spend close to our entire cap allowance, if not the full amount. That doesn't mean we use it all up loading up on FAs, but on paper, we do use up all our space. This year, we simply do not have the in-house players really due to be extended, which has used up a ton of our cap space in recent years. So where are we going to use our $34m? Anyone else checked out this kid. Another Illinois product that seems to me is much better then Mckie. I personaly feel that if they dont keep this kid they will regret it. I was watching the replay the other night and he slams the line like freight train on blocks and pass recieving seems to be superior to Mckies. I was disappointed when they let Pope go, now its Davis turn, But somehow I think Mckie has naked pics of lovie. He keeps turning up like a bad penny.

Like it or not, the three calls on Alshon were legit offensive pass interference calls. What's more, they should be a damning enough reason to fire Drake's non-coaching ass. Allow me to explain... When one of the deep officials (Field Judge, Back Judge, Side Judge) look for offensive pass interference, they look for three specific things: 1. I put together a list of the Bears current roster, color coded by contract expiration and sorted by position. I hoped it would not be reduced, but I am not great at uploading photos or spreadsheets. *Red is for players on their final year under contract. Nearly half the team is in the red, so expect another big year of turnover. *WR, TE, and QB are heavy red - depending on AJ resigning after this season, WR may be a huge need. TE I already figure we will address soon also. QB we will need to address a solid #2.

With Frazier rumored to be on the hot seat, he would be a better candidate to run the Bears defense than Ryan.IMO He is familiar with the division and has run successful defenses in Minnesota in a 4-3. If he takes the heat for the Vikings drop off in play this year he will be in demand as a coordinator.

Nice start! Here are two things the Bears need to do to continue this streak. 1.) Find one more O Tackle for depth. There has to be someone available in FA we can pick up now. I'd read teams were waiting to sign veterans until after week 1 was over so they didn't have to gaurantee the entire season of salary.
