Just curious if anyone is watching the game right now? I've seen some stats flash over my Bears app on the phone. Doesn't appear to be a very exciting game. And for what its worth Cutler still hasn't had any turnovers...so far. But his yardage looks short so I'm guessing they're employing more a dink and dunk approach, which I like. Noticed that Miami scored in the first 7 minutes of Q1. I have it set to record tomorrow when it replays on NFL Network. Just thought I'd ask if anyone is watching now and overall thoughts of the performance.

Reading some of the articles before, during, and after the competition the same thing keeps jumping out at me. -Which guy will best manage the offense -which guy is the safest choice -which guy is less likely to turn the ball over -which guy will make the fewest mistakes -which guy presents the lowest risk What we are really doing is playing not to lose and from that perspective which guy fits that bill. I re-watched the condensed version of the game this morning and came up with these observations: 1. Cutler: Made crisp decisions with the ball, threw them away when he had nothing (did not force), was making good animated fakes, moved well in the pocket and away from pressure, and overall had one of his best games as a Bear. He was also pretty pumped up after a few of the TDs. The only drawback was the telecast never showed him looking at a tablet or talking with coaches. 2. I hate the Packers!!!! But as much as I do hate the packers they had a game plan that worked..they took Marshall and Jeffrey out of the game. The Bears played awful but I dont blame the team I will put this one the coaches. You and I both know we needed to block Mathews....did we do it...no! Game plan...hello! Hello everyone , Its been a while since I posted. I hope everybody is doing good ? Let me ask you what would be your offensive game plan be for tonight? We all know what our defense will do, #1 stop the run and #2 then play the pass. And if the Texans are charitable our "D" will have no problem of receiving such gifts. Game time weather and field conditions should be considered in your thoughts.

As my mind goes and I study more I have a new game plan for today anyway. We resign Scott, Louis, Melton, Roach. We pick up in FAgency Wheeler MLB.Bushrod LT, Donnie Avery WR In the draft I found a trade partner Cinn. They have two second round picks and have needs of a #2 WR and a MLB. So we trade our #20 for for #37 and #84 in the third round. Ok I have read all the things I can here, From the extreme of one side saying it Orton, to another saying its Turner. The funny thing is we dominated every quarter on time possession and percentage of total net yards. We out played TB in almost every aspect of the game. With exception of the number passes. But our average of net yards per pass was greater then TB. Offensively The Bears are on track as wierd as it may seem, at least by the stats. Defensively its another story. Babich maybe the culprit or maybe Lovie wanting him to run it it a certain way. But either way you look at it, it smells pretty bad. Holding TB to 47 total rushing yards say the D line …

At this point Detroit has nothing to lose and with players getting benched in the middle of the last game I expect a hard fought game. Given all the injuries we're stacking up it's hard to know which players will take the field. I think Bushrod will start but I'm not sure that's a good thing against Ansah's speed. Alshon seems like he'll be back but I think he'll be in a limited role. Marcellus Bennett is questionable too. Detroit is ranked lower than us in run defense and their pass defense is more solid. I think we'll go heavy and try to run on Detroit, or keep extra blockers in as protection and let a 2-3 WRs run around until they get open. Leno has played…

I haven't been able to post much since the first game but one of the most obvious differences I noticed with our D against the Bengals was the lack of gang tackling. I give Lovie credit because we always had 11 guys running toward the ball and it paid off routinely. Too often against the Bengals we would have one or two players go for a tackle but additional support was either late getting there or never arrived. A copy and paste from another thread. I want to start a discussion on Garrett Wolfe. I think that Wolfe can be a solid contributor, and much more than a third-down back. Honestly, I don't see why everyone is so ready to quit on a guy who did nothing but look better than Benson and Peterson during his limited touches last year. I don't see why he can't produce like Warrick Dunn has produced throughout his career. If anything, having a smaller, shiftier RB is a better option behind a line that opens up massive holes for DTs and DEs.
