  1. The way Fuller has been playing this season, it's pretty obvious that he's in line to receive a big payday from somebody at the end of the year, providing he can maintain this level of play throughout the season. One of the cardinal rules in team building is to not let your young talent go in free agency to let other teams reap the benefits. Pace has already let that happen once with Alshon Jeffery. Although, it is fair to point out that Jeffery didn't want to be in Chicago, although I suspect some of it may have had to do with the rocky relationship he had with Fox. Not sure where Pace fits in with having influence there, but regardless, the same thing applies now …

  2. We draft tonight at 8:30 central time. It is a $25 league. Let me know if you're interested. I will post the available keepers for the team in a little bit.

Well guys what else can I say. Last night watched our beloved kick some ass and this morning the wife gave birth #3. 1st daughter and since we can't enjoy the honey bears we bought a bears cheerleader outfit for her for Halloween. Mommy and Maddison Viola are both doing great

The Bears Core is looking pretty good, as long a players develop JA will keep this team in good shape. Players in RED are ones that JA will have to decide on extending Players in GREEN are players if they step up big, can get rewarded early. The way I see it coming, the Bears will be working on extending Mike Brown if he stays healthy and Brandon McGowan if he produces. Grossman will get franchised only if he produces just to see if he can do it again. If Kevin Jones produces, he'll command a high salary and I just can't see the Bears giving it to him. If Brandon Lloyd produces, this may likely get done b/c I think Lloyd will be looking for long term secur…

I thought this was funny from the Sport's Guy's article at http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...=simmons/081003 "Which reminds me, here's my Dropsies All-Star Team through four weeks: Bernard Berrian and Andre Johnson (starting WRs); Daniel Graham (starting TE); everyone on Atlanta and Tennessee (backups); Ben Watson (injured reserve); and every fullback. Berrian has to be the MVP. I'd love to see a game show where he tries to catch various things -- keys, babies, jello, pop flies, knives, you name it. If you're ever holding a baby and leaning out of a burning building as Bernard Berrian says, "Throw the baby, throw it to me," I implore you to explore other …

Hey folks! I set this league up awhile ago and were still a few players short. We currently have 7 and need either 1 or 3 or 5 more players to make it a viable league. The live draft is set for this Sunday (8/28) at 2pm CST. I can still change that if anyone has a problem with the time although finding another time could be a challenge. It's free (no money) with pretty std scoring. 1QB 3WR 2 RB 1 W/R 1 TE 1 K 1 DEF Email at lloydt56@yahoo.com or PM me and I'll send you an invite. Thanks

Found this at the end of an article on Rideau and thought I'd post it to give some props to Kreutz. Aside from his play this is why he's one of the team leaders: Center Olin Kreutz, a six-time Pro Bowler, remained on the field after practice to work one-on-one with guard Johan Asiata, an undrafted rookie free agent from UNLV. I've never heard of Asiata and yet here's our Pro Bowl center out there after practice helping him out.

http://bostonherald.com/sports/football/pa...&position=2 Partly posted as we are heading into a bye week, seems as though the news is stagnant and curious to see what others think. Could/would he be a worthwhile look? There is the possibility that his injury history and/or price could be a hurdle...but one has to ask.

  14. Got seats in section 438 row 35 seats 13 & 14. Should have a great view near mid field for the game and Ditka's retirement ceremony!!! Looked at several ticket sites and I gotta say I like that StubHub lists the final cost up front. Ticket Exchange was more expensive, Vivid Seats seems to have the highest fees. Hoping for great weather and a Bears win!!!!

Would Darius Heyward-Bey fit the bill as a speed addition to this team. Whats the deal with him? This was a first round WR that has yet to breakout. Is he a bad route runner or what?

I was listening to Doug Buffone and Hub Arkush on 670 the Score tonight. They brought up a good point. Why hasn't Mike Hass gotten a look, still? He catches anything that's thrown to him. Now, i'm not saying he'd be a great WR. But, i think he could be a solid WR given the chance to prove himself. For a team that needs all the weapons on offense. Hass is only 25 years old. Enough is enough, give the guy a damn look!

Cedric Bensen In Court For Speeding On the Edens CHICAGO (WBBM) -- Now it's a speeding ticket that sends Cedric Benson to court. The Bears running back paid a $510 fine and received four months supervision, for chugging a little too quickly through the Edens Expressway construction zone last month. Bensen was pulled over going 77 mph in a 45 mph zone when he was pulled over after 3 a.m. last month, police say. Earlier this month Bensen was arrested on a drinking-related charge in Austin, Texas. Benson failed a sobriety test while operating a 30-foot boat on Lake Travis near Austin and resisted arrest before being hit with pepper spray, Travis Cou…
