I know theres been numerous times hes been brought up in the past but I seriously have to question how this guy has kept his job since 2004. The state of our WR corps under his tenure has been easily the worst in the NFL. We havent been able to develop a single WR that weve drafted and the few weve signed have done absolutely nothing here. How can a WR coach watch the product weve had on the field the past few years and not be able to do anything to improve it and still have a job? The closest thing weve had to a legit WR is Earl Bennett and thats 100% due to his familiarity with Jay because as we saw when Cutler doesnt play Bennett basically becomes a ghost.

Mike Tice, when he was a HC in MIN, was an asshole if you ask me. Maybe it was just because he was HC of a rival, but I pure and simple did not like him. As a OLC I absolutely love what I am seeing. First off, after years and years of OLCs for the Bears insisting on "steping back into the bucket" and "zone blocking" Tice appears to be on the same page as I am, aggressive smash mough football on the OL. Pancake blocks, kick the guys ass. Move forward on the snap and get the advantage. Secondly, he seems to actually evaluate players and develop them. Since our defense sucks, and the offense is close to being very very good, how about it we sold out on defense and continued building the offense first. Grab a star TE in the first round and a OC in the second and then draft defensive players the rest of the draft? Pick up free agents to fill defensive spots, and bring back some of our own players? This is out of left field thinking but if we get two TE options and improve our oline and let the the defense suck with mild improvement. what do you think.

AT this point I've only seen the 1st half and a bit of the 3rd quarter. Overall this was a different team than what we saw last week. Offense was solid moving the ball although there are still some mistakes to clean up. Defense was likewise solid despite having several young backups among the 1st string (ILB, CB). Offense RB Langford: I've never seen him display so much patience in his reads. Something changed this week for the better. I don't know if it's just result of the 3 days of practice against the same team or has it finally clicked for him. Both have done exceptional jobs with young QBs. I also recall Clements being highly regarded. He could be a great option as well.

For whatever reason I can't get my phone to post a link, but there are reports floating around that the Bears are interested in adding Jermaine Gresham. If his backs fine this would be a fantastic move. Gase used a lot of 2 TE sets in Denver even with the 3 headed monster he's had at the WR position. Plus there's not much depth behind Marty anyway.
